Many believe that the Air Force made the wrong choice with the F 22. I disagree with that. I believe the F 22 was the right choice. Both planes had areas where they were better than the other. The YF 23 had better stealth because of the revolutionary design. Was fastest because of the smaller frontal profile was more streamlined. Had better range being longer and greater fuel capacity. The F 22 was more manuverabel and further along in development. Also, having internal missiles side by side rather than stacked on top of each other was a plus for the F 22. It meant holding less missiles, but a failure of one wouldn't stop the uses of the other missiles.

They were afraid of cost overruns. That is kind of funny as it seems any jet the US Air Force has made always has cost overruns and never delivered on time. It makes me wonder if the YF - 23 would have been any worse as far as cost overruns. Sounds like there were plenty of bad decisions made not to show off the YF- 23's abilities. It seemed to be a great fighter for the time.

This was just the exactly example, between what happened between YF-23 Black Widow v/s F-22 Raptor. Althoug Black Widow had many better reference than Raptor, Northrop didnt had the same support as Lockeed Martin. Its mainly a thing of prices & pacts between enterprises & government to achieve the best benefits. I also noticed they choose the best aesthetical good looking jetfighter. But for me, they all are beautifull. The only ugly ones for my taste are the old Sukhois, the earlier Migs & the Super Saber with StarFighter. For all the rest they're pretty and all fullfill vry well their roles. In my taste F-20 is an amazing jetfighter. The reason? 1: Its a jetfighter easy to pilot. 2: The jet can take off & land 3 times faster than any other jetfighter in the same time with less maintanance and doind blasting missions faster before than any other aircraft. 3: Economical v/s Power & Performance. Its totally worth to have such huge power in a compact jetfighter so effective & amazing. So my support is for Black Widow & F-20 to return to their jobs & give the recognition they well deserve more than many others.

Awesome video folks, and you actually got to the point and told us fairly early why it is yellow. Thumbnail was spot on and actually had something to do with your video. Most channels these days just try to sucker you into watching a 20 min video that has nothing to do with the thumbnail or the nothing is "amazing" or "the biggest mistake of all times" and it just turns out to be a BS video with screw ups in the audio because the AI program cant pronounce the words correctly. F18 super is not more powerful than the F14. Aside from a digital advancement, it is inferior to the F14 in most respects. Had the F14 been upgraded as intended, it would be superior to the hornet in every single aspect.
