So many wonderful ancient places in the area. It is a wonderful place to live.

Avebury is usually very busy, luckily I was the only one braving the -4 temperature on Saturday morning, weather was grey and overcast, two days before it was a glorious sunrise and a low mist, would have looked great but this time of year not a lot of early morning sunlight before the tourists arrive and I have to be in the office. Don't take off or land on NT ground. I normally lift off from the main road and only fly my 249g drone but be careful it can be busy😄. Good luck when you get out their.

to me this is a perfect morning.

Some further south are a few hours away from me but I was lucky enough to get to all of 2024's before the farmers destroyed them, shame so few were made 🙂🙂.

@ Exactly; I was down for a week and planned on visiting Badbury Rings the day after the farmer cut it out 😔 - hopefully, 2025 will be a good year 🤞

@@Dave-sb4iy Fingers crossed we will get some nice circles. Had one farmer drive at me last year and accused me of being to blame for all the people walking through his crops!

@ No way 😬 I bet that wasn’t pleasant 🫣 strange how some accept donations, even via electronic means, and some just cut the circle out; although, I wish people would be a little more respectful and use only the tramlines 🤞 or better still, just watch your footage 😂

Thank you but no special affects on any of my videos, the orbs you spotted are simply Pigeons flying into the shot to feed where the crop has been bent over😁. If you wait until after July you might be in luck with a crop circle or two in the Avebury area, Have a great Christmas and a very happy new Year.

@@Greyman-hm3fd Thank you but I've really analysed the clip in Final Cut & they don't look like birds to me.. ( with upmost respect 😊). The lowest of these white dots we see is I'm convinced a white pigeon, but the rest are not. Something of an OCD for me - the process of breaking any footage down in post production, I've concluded, yet it has yielded some startling results in my experience over the last decade+. 30fps - broken down to it's individual frames tell the real story more often than not, which in turn, raises more questions, rather than the answer.
