Not at all. The ending was very misunderstood mostly because of false lies and rumors. And also we had ALOT of unanswered questions. Hopefully horokoshis new pages will awnser them.

Short answer is no, mha ending is overhated by TikTok readers, like think abt it there are some mcs that haves the same ending like deku, example gon and edward from fmb, all of them lost their powers, but they all achieved their goals, Gon met his dad, edward brought his brother to life, deku became the greatest hero as he said in chp1, so what’s problem? That 2 endings that beloved while the other one is overhated and that is mha, the amount of ppl don’t understand the whole point of ch1 and they don’t read, DEKU literally haves a statue with his friends, and rich and famous and HE became a hero again but quirkless, genuinely if mha was released in old gen era, the ending wouldn’t be overhated lot unlike this era where ppl can’t read just spreading misinformation, and if you genuinely think that mha ending is bad due deku not having uravity than you are actually buns.

Despite the ending not being the most satisfying. Its an incredibly realistic ending. I should also point out mha had a 7 chapter epilogue. Thats the longest post final arc content we have had from a shounen in YEARS so I wouldnt call it rushed, just not the most fleshed out

I really can't stand people whenever it comes to talking about m. HA cuz. It's always something stupid because people usually don't understand the story which is weird, because it's not a hard story to understand like people are for real saying that it's a pothole that we didn't learn who deku's dad was. Like, that's not a plot hole, a plot who is something that needs to be explained by the ply. We don't need an explanation to who deku's dad is that's just something we were promised by the creator and people saying that decode doesn't get to be a hero anymore, genuinely, didn't read the chapter cuz, he literally does. And it's sad that people don't understand the whole. We are here a moment, because that whole moment's there. To solidify the fact that everybody in hero society has to be or at leasing class one a has to be to symbol a peace. It can no longer be one man cause when that one man retires. This same thing that happened with all might happen. Crime rate goes up again, people lose their faith in heroes cause it was only there. Cause all night. The reason i don't like the ending is because it doesn't really fit the story. The Ending feels like a au ending rather than the actual ending. After the timeskip, the ending would be work better as a ending to "quirkless support gear deku". Think about it. The final punch with shiguraki would completely destroy the powersuit that deku would have been making/upgradimg the entire story. With no powersuit, deku gets a normal job because he knows without his powersuit... He couldn't stay a hero. Years pass as a teacher and he is giving a new and imporved suit to continue his herowork. The reason it took so long to make was because of the focua of repairing the country so it was made slowly over a long period of time. The final panel could show that deku has been fully accepted as a hero, even though he doesn't have a quirk. Just imagine the reaction to that final punch with shiguraki. seeing the powersuit that both deku and the audience grew attacted to just fall off of deku's body in peices beyond repair and deku looking at it with a look of subtle sorrow.

!!!READ MY COMMENT!!!! hey there I'll tell you why at the end of the day why people are really upset Is because in chapter one we were promise that this was the story of how deku became the greatest hero And at the end there were people who were even like "is that deku? I guess he's real afterall" punch in the gut moment He became a myth,a legend, like a whisper in the wind😅 bruh So you could say it is well written ending but it's the the one we joined the ride for.

i dislike it the ending because it left too much, like it some what showed a potentially new villain only for it come full circle (thank god granny you did ur damn job) but thats not just it, "im going to reveal deku's dad before the end of it!" then doesn't just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and deku being a teacher is really nice because he can actually help unlike other teachers, hes all about learning their quirks and giving them ideas on how to use it so it fits, deku not getting a girlfriend is alright i guess i mean he really doesn't need one but it would be cool if he did end up with one, the ending being so rushed is what sucks the most they clearly didnt give the author enough time to flesh out all the ideas they had for the ending just like jjk's ending.

Wait I’m confused I just watched the end of season seven and it ended with them all fighting why are people saying it ended a different way like Deku is quirk less like I didn’t see any of this in the the end of season 7?

I think there where a lot of good stories in my hero academia. But the one with Deku isn't it. You had much better story lines. All might becoming quirkless and becoming iron might. Gentle criminal becoming redeemed. Endeavor trying to atone. etc...

I dislike the ending because I'm not the fan of Deku spending several years being Quirkless then Hero again but the ending is way to overhated. I remember people saying all of Class 1A left him, it ends with Deku not being a Hero, especially with the Pizza collab not helping, just created memes that disrespected the main character. The final chapter tells us he's still talking to his former classmates and it legit ends with them all together and Deku as a Pro Hero.

Kinda I know one thing for sure it was a lot better than the ending of jjk

Imo deku is one of the best mc's from an overall standpoint. His progression throughout the series is heavilly underrated and as you said it all came full circles further cementing the fact he is the greatest hero

People who say the ending was trash i just CANNOT understand. Other than it being rushed, its a good ending and makes sense that Deku would be quirkless because One For All cannot exist without All For One and One For All has done its job and isnt needed anymore. I can only say that the final smash and the short talk between Deku and Tenko disappointed me greatly. I kind of hope the anime does more with Deku vs AFO and make Deku and Tenko's talk longer. This probably wouldnt make sense but i picture Deku being sent into the vestige world and having a fist fight with All For One like with Simon VS Anti Spiral in Gurren Lagann and then Deku and Tenko deal the final blow together. That would be more satisfying imo but thats just me.

I think AFO being humanised in the end was actually the perfect end for him with Deku calling him old, I like the idea of everyone having humanity within them but just because you're human doesn't mean you don't have a preponderance of evil as well, All For One seeing everyone as his possession and using his mask to take off that humanity is cool in the backstory where you see his white eyes, trying to give that demeanour that he wasn't bothered but I think he absolutely was, he showed his possessive love in a fucked way because that's the only way he understood the world especially when you see in manga panels him simply buying books for him and not seeing him as nothing, Yoichi viewed that metaphor of when they were literal babies to be viewed differently is a cool metaphorical meaning that I liked in how they handles, and I thought he had the best ending out of the 3 in terms of the conflict. Bakugo returning was a bit too much for me in the war, him suffering injuries saves that whole thing for me but my feelings of suspension of disbelief felt a bit broken seeing him being able to come back. I think the final smash and Endeavor being less hype but yet shocking and melancholic I think I really love to an extent but also the prior to the final smash Shigaraki and Deku not having enough moments (especially since how much they've been paralleled with each other) even back in the mall the only way he knew how to vent was a fucked up way of taking a kid to talk about his problems similar to All For One when he took them off the street, Class 1A + The League not having comparisons to one another and Tenko not getting to understand Deku through his past was a missed opportunity in my opinion, so to me it was more shocking they never got to have that longer visualisation in the memory realm and longer talk because of that but I think it works in the tragic sense for the audience. The Endeavor part and the whole epilogue I liked because it felt more real and to an extent depressing transitioning into the epilogue that felt humble, meditation through the preciousness and difficulty of life, I personally think Deku, Uraraka and Shoto did save their villains in a way and it's through their hearts showing they were human, Shigaraki got to keep his identity even after everything AFO did to him and kept his villain persona that's manifested into actually becoming knowing he was human validating his origin, Toga through her smile to know her love and origin was validated, and Dabi through replying to the Soba comment and showing that there is value in extending your hand even in the face of death and after, with Deku writing his book and teaching for the next generation, Uraraka saving girls like Toga through mental means and I think Shoto was more personal making sure to see him as human. For me the last chapter I thought was peak, genuinely had me crying for 7mins. The way the subversion was handled for the ending was genuinely written well I think with the idea of the world turning more into comic books by Shigaraki and All Might and Deku both escaping that in order to be humanised for their wants/ what they longed for, had me crying, it simply would've been TOO bittersweet for Deku to stay a teacher knowing his longs for everything he created in UA and created something new for himself to find self value in being quirkless but his rationalisation won't let me acknowledge what he longs was genuinely heartbreaking to me and how he long OFA to the fire was something I was thinking about for months and him telling the kid to do his best paralleling Chapter 1, I thought was one of the greatest chapters symbolically, narratively, thematically and for Deku (especially since he's my favourite character in the series so I do have more of a bias). I think for me the biggest gripes is Shigaraki and Deku not getting more interactions and memory realm stuff, and something I didn't say was to see AFO's empire and transitioning into eventually losing to All Might which they showed but I believe they could've made it a whole story of it's own in showing how Japan was like it was.

It was the perfect ending for MHa imo, but it wasn't the ending I wanted. As for him not getting together with Uraraka... I personally genuinely think they got together offscreen and it just wasn't particularly relevant to the ending's themes and messages. Would I have liked to see it? Sure. Was I bothered it wasn't there? Not really.
