Very nice idea. Inspired me to start designing me one. Thanks for posting.
Honestly, these little projects are some of my favorites. Functional everyday products. We get to see these used frequently and they add a unique touch to HOME in a subtle way.
I'm surprised you didn't put the mounting tabs to the inside to keep a clean flush trip free mounting solution. I thought about doing this but I cannot bolt anything to my garage floor. so I'm thinking of making a small box around the bottom and filling it with concrete.
I would've never placed those mufflers where they are, but hey, what do I know??
Nice instructional video. Keep up the good work Bill. 😊
I bought one for my 01 convertible 😊 looks sweet

Love it, you’ve got yourself a new subscriber. Great work!!
No Voice track only music!!!
Great craftsmanship!
Nice artwork! I do my graphics with vinyl, but this is more appropriate.
Awesome job, looking very cool!
Good start, metal shaping fender. 👍
Man, i was smiling that hole video. You dont miss 🤙 soo good. Be kool to get the camera up close for us viewers to see the details.
Thanks , I have a new camera coming in for the next video hopefully I can get some better shots
😎👍😎
👍😎👍
👍😎👍
Do you offer the dxf file?
Sorry no didn't save any
Mate i have been hanging to see this well worth the wait! That is sooo bloody good and that rib is wild. When you made the rib did you bead roll a strip then cut the exsess off so it was close to the rib and use the weld to blend tank to rib?? Was hard to see in the vid. Looking forward to the next 1
Yup that's exactly what I did , I used a 1" bead roller on a 3 inch strip then cut out the bead and welded it in , blending it was the hard part
@envisionmotorwerks thats such a great look to it. Cheers for the reply mate cant wait to keep watching this build.
That's some next level fab work. Really looking forward to seeing how this build progresses. New sub.
Awesome, thank you!
Check out the c7 carbon version. They make the best carbon zr1 style supposedly. Just got mine and it’s really nice
Just stumbled across your video looks sick cant wait to see you sheet work. From Sunshine Coast Australia 🤙
Awesome, should be starting on the bodywork within the next couple days
Awesome work! Thanks for sharing!
It’s looking really nice
Thank you
Did the GMC trucks come with torsion bars suspension in the front. Hydraulic clutch and the X box frame like the Apache 10 🤔
Yup , it's essentially the same truck, only difference was the motor
well done , been through about 10 of the cheapo stools in my little machine shop . The frame bends, the caster wheels start to split over time. One lasted 18 months , that was a record. Always thought about building one that would last longer than i do.
Very cool. Nice video
Edita o vídeo mais lento amigo tá muito rápido pra gente entende o q vc está fazendo
100% badass!
Awesome
Nice Nice you should of made the casters too .❤
Very nice work bill. Hopefully you will get great use out of it. Can’t wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab on. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
Are you still happy with it now?
I sold the car a few months back , but up until then it held up fine and looked good just not very dimensionally accurate
@@envisionmotorwerks I’m kind of in between on this one, I’ve done many carbon upgrades, not sure if I want to do the spoiler, mostly because I’m old and might screw it up. Yours did look good but just knowing the measurements were off would bug the crap out of me. If I do decide what strength of the install tape did you use. Thanks again.
@Edpalomares54 I just used regular 3m tape and it was extremely solid
with 0 dust too! mud mud from hell though put a tarp down to catch all the sand so water will drain out scoop it up throw it away after it dries in the sun i use it for fill but what ever
hey buddy how is the everlast plasme cutter holding up thinking about getting one?
Works fantastic havent had a single problem well worth the money
Hi Does the plasma cutting torch comes with the table ? What kinda plasma cutter is it? Thanks and Thats some 👍 job
No the plasma cutter dosent come with it , I have a Everlast 82i it runs about 1200 bucks , but if you don't plan on cutting anything thick you can go with a smaller amp plasma cutter
How will you paint in between the legs?
Didn't paint it I just waxed the steel so it don't rust
I’m surprised your wear a mask for welding 😮
Looks pretty good
Thanks, I like how it turned out
Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. It’s amazing. Keep making. God bless.
Beautiful
Fits the build perfectly!
Good job, tree
I'd go ahead and put a starter on that thang
That 3/4 ton axle looks stout!
The goal is to still use it as a truck so I want everything as stout as possible
It's coming along nicely so far. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep making. God bless.
Wonderful work. Your own voice can be heard on the left channel only??
Thanks man , my mic has been acting up , time to upgrade
@@envisionmotorwerks maybe it's just the connector. Odd that the microphone is stereo, maybe it's a setting in the editing software?
@@envisionmotorwerks which welders do you use? I only have TIG and sometimes I am thinking about "cheating" and get MIG :)
I have a miller diversion 165 tig , a old lincoln 355 tig and a old hobart handler 150 , most everything on this truck will be done with the mig , now if it wasn't a ratrod I would probably Tig weld it but for this it's fine and much quicker
@@envisionmotorwerks I see. I repaired my off-road rig's frame (Toyota FJ Cruiser) that I use to overland with the family with TIG because I don't have MIG. I wonder if the higher heat input I gave to the welds made it actually any better than a MIG weld. So far it seems to hold fine :)
Awesome video! I love the distressed look you gave it
Awesome project. Hopefully you get great use out of it for many years to come my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab on. Weld on. Keep making. God bless.
Much better! Thank-you! I understand what you are Saying , very interesting! Keep up the good work !!
