I’m pretty sure you are one of those buyers who buys lots for cheap and expect all cards to be mint. You will never get your money back thats the hard truth about the hobby. It’s all just for fun! Do you buy a blaster box and most are base and a few rookies do you complain to Topps???

Did you ever see a picture of the cards tossed in the box? I don't think I'd buy something if I can't at least see the cards properly stored in a box and some corners just to get an idea.

I buy cheap sports cards I think are cool instead of always buying expensive boxes to get cards I don't want so thanks for selling. I just picked up 13 Griffey cards +including 1 rookie), Piazza upper deck Rookie and a cheap Ted Williams card from 1999 retro for $70. I like cards that look cool photography wise since I am a photographer and not necessarily always for value. Peace

I started selling cheap cards on ebay. So far so good. My philosophy is the same as yours. Starting off slow and building up. Initially, I was only trying to maximize my dupes to help fund my own buying but I have moved on to buying small lots purely for resale. It's going better than expected. It's still a hobby moneywise but I will gamble with more inventory and more expensive cards after the New Year.

Can you share the name of the seller so we can stay away from them - its better than Neg feedback

Great video! You answered the eBay standard envelope question I had been asking other RUclipsrs but received no answer... how to ship without the card getting returned. Penny sleeve, top loader, and a piece of paper does the trick. I had put in a thin board (comic book backing board) cut to size, and the card was returned with the stamp saying "Non-machinable." The board is too thick. Thanks!

Do you take into account the cost of the supplies you use for individual card sales? supplies = penny sleeve, top loader, team bag and envelope. what is your minimum profit per individual card sale? when you figure the cost of supplies and the cost of goods per card, that can eat into how much profit ypu make per card especially if your selling low end cards.

If I am paying for shipping and the buyer selects a more expensive shipping method...I am going to make the call of what method is being used. It all depends though how much the card is being sold for.

If it's under $20 its ships PWE. I have that written in my description for those listings.
