LOCALEUR
We taste culture, we seek it out. And in that search we want to rediscover a place we call home. New York's ever-changing landscape seems almost overwhelming, so we partnered with Localeur to see what other locals had to say about the place we live in.

El fundador de cifonelli tuvo un sueño ser la mejor sastrería del mundo👌
Splendid... too bad i cant afford it
I just bought a necklace of yours. I love your work!
With Bemer shoes ❤
Frank correnti is my great great grand-uncle 😊
Welcome Jordan...
Welcome Jordan...
I always wonder how these tailors make some great fitting suits etc, but are themselves in need of some fit advice
I thought i was the only one. Like liveranos suit doesn’t fit and you can see it on the shoulders.
Anderson&Sheppard and Liverano have overextended shoulders. It's part of their house style. All English drape cuts and Florentine tailoring are cut that way.
Awesome info and greatly needed
Way do you stop making videos? This is one of the cooles channel out there
Beautiful!!!!!
Ага спасибо, все очень понятно!
Excellent
Thank you for this. Great interview, Andrew!
Dope
Full body =full leaves, hmm
First Class Cigars. I haver ordered them since 1997 and they don't disappoint. You won't find a better quality made stogie
I love this man
Damn this dude thinks just like me.
Met this man 2 weeks ago!, he’s such a great guy, due to my schedule I only got 3 samples from him , what a great place to hang out!, talk blu jays and raptors... and cigars!, I’m coming back next year , I will be putting a hell of an order in!
One of the best Cigars out there. We make the trip to Toronto at least twice a year and this always a stop. The cigars live at the front of my Humidor and are one of the most tempting things in it, but are also one of the most rationed and savoured. Do yourself a favour stop in and check out this piece of Toronto’s living history.
No slam on Poe, but another NYC based street photog......Seriously, shooting street in NYC, London, Rome, LA, SF, and other cosmo-metro metropolises, is like shooting fish in a barrel, you'll always get something. Now do some street shooting in places like Boise, Des Moines or Amarillo, and come away with some stunning imagery, that takes talent.
After being told a fair amount of hype for Correnti cigars I tried some and was thoroughly unimpressed. Very well constructed but horrible wrappers, at best bland and at worst bitter and grubby flavors. The ones they had claimed were made from 25 year aged Cuban tobacco may well have been.. but it must have been some of the worst junk quality that Cuba never used and decided to sell off in bulk to other countries instead. - aging tobacco for a long time is meaningless unless the tobacco is of excellent quality to begin with.
I tried 3 different vitolas and all 3 were really good, surprised that you think they were junk, although I did leave mine in a humidor for 3/4 weeks, just my opinion.
very good video. Need to get back to NYC for a couple of days.
Their website doesn't work. Now what?
I love your message. It's how I feel. Keep shooting! :-)
i'm all about positivity and progress with art but this guy is a schmuck... How he talks about photography shows that he doesn't know the history of it and the way he grabs his camera by the strap like a wannabe careless leica owning film photographer from the 70's... Nothing against the Video and the Documentary... I just don't know is he should be called a "Photographer" and a "Street Photographer" for the matter of fact...
A lot of these guys are phonies...him? Eh...doesn't bother me too much I guess...believe me there's worse
I just purchased a box last weekend while in Toronto and I gotta say it’s true authentic! I met the person who rolled my box while I was their, freshest leafs in town!
3:23 shooting DSLR like a pro ^^
Cool video But where is the street photography though
Just a word about his comment on 80's shooting: Those were the best days for street shooting, or as i call them the last golden age of the street shooters. I was shooting back then, but didn't have the mind to know what I was in the middle of or where it would go. Kudos to you Poe, keep shooting the streets.
ruclips.net/video/tOhBRRXmPHY/видео.html Give me some advice please😍😍
Is it really street photography if you’re using a zoom lens? I don’t think so. If you’re not close, it’s not street photography.
I really was able to connect with this guy and his feelings towards photography. The part where he speaks about the need to be creative to keep yourself from feeling down or depressed in his situation. Its that lack of creativity that brings me down, I have to be doing/creating something all the time, at least trying to. Great video!
Very very nice !
brillant!Tailering is art(!),far beyond the ordinary!
Looks weird walking around with a big ass camera. As least try to act like a tourist i.e. backpack headphones anything to be as unassuming as possible.
What lens do you use?
your videos deserve way more views...
Bunch of grown ass men trying to dress fancy to kill free time? No... This video repels normal men in the world.
Enjoyed the video. You can always learn something from others or find inspiration if you are interested in the subject material.
Thank you Andrew. I can relate to a lot of what you said about photography. Nice work.
I don't like to be overly critical but these aren't good shots. Just average. Nothing of any real interest and certainly not worth the 8:47 long video. Sorry, but very uninspiring shots.
what a douch
Beautiful and great video! Love this work! I am photographer too check out my web instagram.com/edzisjonaitis
this guy certainly has the balls. in the street with a neon shirt, a huge lens(24-70) with a huge petal hood. probably knows some Segal shit. but cool photos.
Great video and awesome track!
+melissa de mata Thanks Melissa!!!
This guy has skills and takes very well shot, nicely exposed, thoughtfully framed pictures. However, the content of most of the work shown here is just.... beige. This guy's portfolio reads like the public stream on flickr, the same tired shots of absolutely no substance beyond nice advertisement backgrounds. When he says he always looks for "shadows, reflections, bad weather, and light" that completely sums up his work. That is all he is actually taking pictures of. He is not USING these things to tell a story, he is simply taking pictures of these things. You've built up your technical abilities, time to start looking for the content. It's like the visual version of karaoke, he has a great voice but needs to work a lot harder on his song writing capabilities instead of just doing cover songs. No I'm not saying he is ripping anyone off but his shots are the same thing any tourist shoots, just with more technical ability.
+no name I think there's something to be said for a more documentary style of street photography. OK, so it might not be your cup of tea, but that's fine. It's not to my taste either. I quite like the cinematic style he brings to his photography, though.
so wrong...
the green baby!!!!
Shoot with. Leica M3 film camera. Now your talking grass roots street photography.
ToddB987 According to the metadata on Flickr, he uses Sony A7r2+Zeiss Lens😀
good vid. although, a bit strange that the entire interview with him is out of focus
