Better visuals will make your videos shared more. You have the info, now spice it up.
Fast information gush - I think I'm past my prime
Love your products! Where did you get that ball feeder?
You've had this thing out for a year, and I still haven't seen any reviews from the usuals on RUclips. Why is that?
Hmmmm, it’s a head scratcher
Amazon. :)
@appliedvisionbaseball Id rather see what someone like Josh Cathcart or Northern Baseball Training or Bullpen Training have to say than 20 randoms on Amazon
I'm that guy, but reckless abandon and having a plan are incompatible.
I disagree. Having a plan allows you to achieve reckless abandon. Discipline = freedom.
@@appliedvisionbaseball i disagree back! you never play reckless, and reckless abandon should not be some ideal to be aspired to. also, discipline = freedom sounds great, but freedom and reckless abandon are not the same, and if you're using a jocko phrase to imply that as a hitter you should be in a state of reckless abandon in the box...that's suspect. the very phrase implies being dangerous and irresponsible. it's about impulsiveness and disregard for risk, which are things that are not associated at all with deliberation or skill. like, bro, the way you manipulated that count was the epitome of reckless abandon. the way you worked that pitcher over was reckless. none of the best hitters in the modern game would ever be associated with the term "reckless abandon." and to aspire to it to get out of a slump doesn't cut it. like i said, i'm being that guy, this is text wall, but this is out of respect dude, you have a good channel. i'm only pointing this out because you're giving advice to people and you should be precise in your language to max out your reputation in this space. that's my two cents
@@therealbs2000 "I only play the game one way, and that’s hard and with reckless abandon." - Ken Griffery Jr
Darryl Strawberry
Exactly
We have studied hitting for 6 years, but we only recently discovered it’s like pulling down on a rope and the hips straighten out the bat. Unfortunately, the pitch up is a hole in this approach of hitting, but coaches are only interested in players that lift the ball, so now you hunt the pitch that is down.
Great video. Everyone is different therefore no hitting instructor can truly be "the guy." Not saying they cannot help with thought processes and improving some hitters, but you cannot cookie cut hitters. Dead on in regard to Teacherman. High fastballs will get those guys out. And weak hitters are just hitting fly ball outs if focusing on launch angle.
Fantastic video.
Garbidge drills
That's so 😎
Fastball, curveball, fastball.
3:58 TWOSEAM FOLHA SECA!!
Y is it so expensive why is baseball so expensive 😭😭😭
griffey had one of the most buttery stylistic swings the mlb has ever seen.
2 strikes
I don’t like the dodgers but I agree
Nice
I saw 2 curveballs
Is this a "hands above the ball" type thing? Looks like a hand speed-stay connected-behind the ball-stay strong through the zone" type of contraption
This video does a good job encapsulating that even professionals have a very hard time teaching others to swing and communicating their message. Sometimes they talk about feeling in their body and an approach that makes sense to them, but ultimately, they're talking about their approach, not the core fundamentals to hitting including the load, getting the bat on plane with the ball, and how that energy is transferred from the ground to the bat. There are different types of hitting such as the spectrum of power vs contact, but those core fundamentals haven't changed much, if at all.
Well put.
Just get one of those ready to work
Lets go!
I mean if you're able to check the color of the ball at that speed, hats off.
Not "check". React and anticipate. High-level, visual pattern recognition = elite-level pitch recognition skills.
Can I get a brief explanation as to what that bat trains you to do?

The HLP opens up the ability to drive balls where they are pitched. It’s beautifully easy.
Lol Griffey may say that’s how it felt but that wasn’t how he swung. He was my favorite player. I use to mimic his swing
Agree on both points.
This looks incredible!
Jump shots in basketball is the same Real vs Feel
Can you give me a link to the ken griffey jr video pls
Lower Body is most important aspect of athletics, no matter which sport you're playing. Upper body goes where the lower body allows it to.Want to hit better? Work your twitch speed on legs/feet + strengthen core. And, Most Importantly, Develop your hip's flexor muscles. They need strength & twitch speed. Ppl say turn on the ball, but really think of it as "twist" on it. Bc that's the movement you must develop. Increase strength and quickness on your "twists." That will also shorten your swing. Imo, The launch angle is ridiculous, plus it's an EASY fix. Just Drop your hands/elbow towards belly button-belt. Because the arms are followers to the legs, that's all u have to do to change the trajectory of ur swing. Watch Griffey next time. His swing is perfection due to his "twist." His stance has his back shoulder "untwisted" to create maximum torque in his "Twist." He turns on it Lightning Quick, he GRACEFULLY Explodes through his Turn/Twist. His whole stance is about setting up his legs.
I'd say it's all important bud.
As good as it gets. Great weight shift and clears the hips.
This was one of the most captivating intros I've ever heard on a baseball video (the predictions were really enlightening). Sub'd!!
@@michaelallen1154 thank ya bud.
Genuinely one the best RUclips videos I've ever seen 👏
thank you bro.
I only care what TEACHERMAN says about hitting
So hitting on your back foot and pulling off the ball?
What does this help with just batting?
I have a 12 yr all star that plays on a travel team this what i tell " chin down swing up" it works
I hope there aren't a lot of people out there who think hitting is easy. Heck, I think hitting is hard in wiffle ball. Lol. I truly do. I can't imagine when it's a solid ball, half the size of a wiffle ball (maybe more than half) traveling at nearly 100 mph. Wow. I can't believe anyone can hit those balls. Kudos to all the minor and pro guys who CAN.
Pretty good approach to this topic- well rounded. There are generally two views: the looking at and the looking along. Also known as feel vs. real. I don’t care for the term feel vs real as it devalues the looking along perspective. The so-called “real” or look at point of view is meaningless without the feel or looking along point of view.
Just discovered this channel and realized how underrated is, this content is really good for hitting, it gives an objective advice, keep it going bro💪💪🔥
Ayyyye. Thanks buddy.
Love ur videos. Bringing the heat. Baseball is such a good sport to love…draws sooo many parallels for life and business. How can anyone not be a hopeless romantic about this game…
Teaching hitting man can't high up in the zone ....that means he teaching kids to have hole in there swings
Possibly.
Rose actually had 10 seasons with 200 or more hits.
Not sure if you noticed but that bat is looking kinda funky 😅
