Saying this aged poorly is a little premature. I’m glad we’re getting chapters again but it’s not like this hasn’t happened before. Since 2016 we get around 10 chapters before he goes on hiatus again. Once he breaks the pattern and does more than 10/11 chapters this time, then I’ll admit this has aged like milk.

Togashi has completed 22 new chapters which will continue to release on a weekly basis, which gives him more time to continue drawing. By the time we get to where he’s @ now- 422- he’ll probably be at 440 or even 450 assuming his health doesn’t deteriorate. It seems like he’s getting better with surgery and is planning better this time around. One can hope.

Damn I didn’t know that. Hopefully this is the start of a more consistent HxH era. This story is too good not to continue.

I got in to One Piece in 2015 when Dressrosa was airing but man, We Fight Together is the best opening imo. The Sabo and Ace flashback in the opening hit different 😭. Especially since We Fight Together was the opening after Marineford. Then we get the montage of all the Strawhats from the beginning of the series to now as well as Roger passing the hat to Shanks who passes it to Luffy. You gotta rewatch OP 14 if you haven’t seen it recently man. As the last opening of pretimeskip One Piece, it really has a concluding feeling to it.

Probably yeah. Could've done a half arc as well, and replace the great saiyaman with an actual villain for Gohan. Then either do Saiyaman after that or cut it and another small intro to the boo saga. I think most people don't really think he fell off, we just didn't get to see him as a proper adult warrior for a duration that was satisfying. If he held his own, saved the earth and didn't have to "wait for Goku" again... then I think at least more fans would be at peace with his scholarly, family man self.

I agree with everything but that point about most ppl not thinking he fell off. DB is so popular that there’s a huge part of the fanbase that have only seen DBZ and are just there for the fights and explosions. That sizeable portion of the fan base absolutely hate Gohan’s “fall off” , only changing their minds after the new shiny power up, Gohan Beast.

It's ironic, I actually don't like Beast that much, I dislike Gohan's continued trend of suddenly catching up to people who consistently train... wasted potential story wise imo.

I couldn’t agree more bro. It’s a cool form but a wasted opportunity character wise. If we got a longer story arc committed to his training then it might’ve worked better.

@@BadTakeRisan the games in the period I m referring to, like 2007-2010 period, was something else, you just bought a video game from the store and from that on everything depends on your determination to finish the story, not like today when you have to buy dlc,updates,points,skills,boosts,etc any kind of stuff you need for sp or mp version. The period I am mention was like the happy place, that dark room lighted by your tv running ps3 game, is just you and the joystick, no RUclips or anything that can steal the magic from the game by showing what to do

he only chose to go to namek because he knew they had dragon balls. all he wanted was to bring piccolo back and the rest of the z fighters that died in the saiyan saga. they were expecting to fight a space emperor and his intergalactic special forces😂 as for the androids and cell, everyone had to be prepared for the threat. do you really think he was training in between the namek saga and when frieza came to earth? he was FORCED to fight cell, and FORCED to ascend past super saiyan.

It’s still a bad game and applies to my point about this gen not having many great games and being overly focused on big budgets. But I was definitely wrong about it being an Xbox exclusive.

@@BadTakeRisan if there isn't a way to trade games and use the money to buy new games or consoles, gamers will not and are not taking chances and are not buying as many games . This is creating a stagnant market where studios don't take chances and create new products/IPs. It used to be that a gamer would but a new release game confident in the knowledge that if he/she/they/it finished in a couple of weeks they could trade it in or sell it on and get half their money back for the next game and other gamers would know that give it a few weeks and I can buy an old copy of eBay or my mate when he's finished for half price. Sony could simply create a PSN based market place where they take 30% of every sale and make money too. Hell they could rent the games out themselves or even do Rent-to-own and charge an extra 5/10 percent for the privilege. Competition breeds creativity even if it's artificially created - which is why we have Monopoly commissions in the first place. And on the point There is no way to rent games either unless you sign up to xbox and even then it's curated - not like popping down to the local blockbuster and rent 3 games for the week and only one turns out to be any good.

PS5 and Xbox suck due to the lack of good games compared to previous gens. I never said the Switch sucks, just that it needs a technological upgrade since its age is showing.

Yeah fair point. Now that we’re adults and capable of buying PCs , there’s not much point in owning a console. Especially with the rise of crossplay. The only thing that could change my mind on the PS6 is the exclusives that they release. PlayStation have some excellent IPs so there’s always that chance.

The only reason I bought a ps4 was to play Persona 3 Reload and others in the Persona/SMT series. That's quite it for games that deserve the hype on ps4. But, I bought a ps4 also because it can be jailbroken and because I prefer console gaming
