This movie really made a huge impression on me at an age when I was just starting to gain more understanding of what great cinema is, when I started to watch more adult serious drama movies. This is such a rewatchable movie, so well made, two amazing stars toe to toe, incredible cast, the entire look of the movie just draws you into that dirty '70s NY, very immersive, I love it

Robin was also a brilliant dramatic actor. Still love Dead Poets (always 11:08 cry at the end) and Awakenings which has a marvelous message for medical professionals about caring. Highly recommend both.

Let's talk about how Matt Damon did Good Will Hunting and then directly went to shoot Saving Private Ryan. Amazing.

Noticed the stylized use of light and darkness through out the black & white scenes of yesteryear; as opposed to the muted tones of the twilight years shot in full color. I wonder if they used any actual film stock, as opposed to everything being shot digitally. “Who knew our pasts were of such entertaining value & meaning? We were just dancing through the long embraces & places as participants fully involved, and feeling truly alive!” I would say, if spoken of that way, how is there not ‘great story(s)’found there?
