Killing perfectly healthy chicks just because they have an extra finger or some aesthetic defect? Cruelty incarnate was their ex owner. Why they were about to be killed only because of some cosmetic issues? They look healthy and ready to live.

If a chickens sleeping in the house it usually means its injured, sick, or has a condition. I have a special box in my room for such chickens so i can keep a better eye on them. The chicken currently using it has Mareks disease, so until the end she sleeps inside. I dont want her breaking her neck in a fall, thats an aweful way to go. APPARENTLY the box wasnt up to her standards anymore because i found her roosting at the foot of my bed. On the blanket with chicken silhouettes...😂 So she sleeps there now. (Mareks disease paralyses the chicken. Loosing motor function is a really obvious symptom and sometimes it can go away if theyre regularly bathed, their legs exercise, and fed good quality food. So if they roost they could loose motor function of their legs at night and fall. Its horrifying to find. In humans its known as Herpes. But transmission between chickens and humans is highly unlikely, especially since i have no open wounds. So her sleeping on the bed is perfectly safe, and kinda cute. )

Did you dye the feathers on that chickens butt? I can’t tell if its wearing a skirt. If the feathers are dyed, that's sick. This setup is cute for a photo op but a very unnatural way for chickens to live. I have nursed chickens back to health in my house but provided an environment as close to possible as they would otherwise be living in.

Wow, there are this many crazy chicken ladies out there huh? No wonder the government is killing us all and we don't even know it. Eggs are a great start but seed oils and carbs are turning you into crazy people because they mess with your hormones. Did you know that the carnivour diet has been known to reverse menopause and some women have actually gotten pregnant after not being in menopause on carnivour? Not telling you to get pregnant just showing you how healthy it can be. Loose weight and live longer and happier with tons more energy. And not crazy 😂

Hello Amazing Chicken Momma! Adorable!!!!! I have a black satin partridge silkie, named Willow. She turns 6 this year. Had her since she was a chick. Wish I could attach a picture! Willow is the last of her flock so shes been indoors for the past 4 years with little visits outside in yard. She still lays eggs, is attached to the dogs, & loves to lay in their beds! I am moving to Europe with my job Summer 2025 and need to find an indoor home for her with someone like you who will pamper her and keep her in the indoor lifestyle she is accustomed to! ❤ What state are you and your chicken friends in?
