Southern Italians arguing
An Italian Christmas. Family argues about a cardgame. - Italia, Natale.
spanish too jaja
THEY ARE FROM BARLETTA, i understand their dialect because i'm from Andria 😂
This isn't arguing
Southern italians are the shames of italy, they are “terroni”
Me and my bro’s combined 4 braincells arguing if we’re gonna talk about touching each other or Hitler killing Vučić
Nostalgia.
the laughing guy is the reason why i can see they like being friends
sto ridendo male
As an Italian boy from Puglia, I can tell you that this is 100% true culture of the older generation, from the outside it looks like they are seriously arguing and ready to fight, in reality they are just fully immersed in the card game they are playing. The intense way they argue, they also apply it to all other topics and contexts of life.
I'm from northern Italy, and i could've understand at least two words
ma curatevi raga😭
they talkin bout the card game
As a northern Italian… eh?
0:48 who da fak is those
Beautiful dialect of puglia❤❤❤❤❤❤
sembri il mio amico fabian
Questo è un capolavoro
I am what could be considered a 'Rioplatense' (mostly people from Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Rosario, cities from Argentina and Uruguay around Rio de la Plata) and it is astounding how much we gesticulate and speak like this guys. This is us, literally, we are southern italians and southern italians are rioplatenses viceversa (we speak spanish btw but we are much more like these people)
1:13 that EH was personal
As a southern italian, i can say that this is average in my family ahahaha
Michelangelo, Leonardo, DaVinci.. I REMAIN.
Alright, so who's going to translate the whole conversation?
Well, this dialect Is from Bari (Apulia) and I can understand everything they say because I'm from there. I can say that It Is so different from italian language, so basically I can confirm that i speak 3 languages!
A few weeks ago, I visited my village 60 km southeast of Salerno in the Cilento/Pruno area (I live in Munich, my grandfather emigrated from there), and I didn't understand shit :D Their local dialect seemed like Ewok language to me.
@@mangomerkel2005 this Is because Italy (expecially the southern part) has been invaded a lot of times during his history and the language has been influenced by Arabic, Spanish or French. In the North, for example, a lot of people speak French, or in Sicily the dialect Is really similiar to Spanish and in Calabria there are some towns where they even speak Greek. So the most of the times, italian language has been mixed with other languages, creating dialects!
In italy we call them terroni
Porco dio
real
yes youtube. i definitely wanna know how southern italians argue 12 years later
1:13 for who doesn't understand, "eh" means something like "it's like this and you know it". i don't know it's hard to explain it in english
I'm Italian, I come from southern Italy, and they're not arguing but just discussing about the game and who made the "cards" anyway... SCOPONE!!!!!
This is a general group of friends: the one who misunderstand everything, the one who just wants to argue, the one who tries to clear things up and the one who laughs.
Feels so amazing to understand this
Mi sento a casa
Scopa 😅
Surprised nobody asked for the gabagool
"Ahahah I'll put these video online. I don't believe there will be that many people watching it"
foggia incredibile
as a southern italian i dont think theyre even arguing this is just how people talk here. i see old men at the train station every morning talking to each other just like that even if its just a friendly conversation
"And here we can observe a group of elderly specimens of Southern Italians in their daily sacred act of discussing the most important subjects in the observable universe. Although they speak a language that only superior beings like them could start to comprehend, they provide the spectators with a universal language, called gesticulation, which can reveal what is understandable to us about their inviolable conversation if interpreted correctly."
As spanish, I love our brothers italians whatever they say, Their rich expressiveness at voice and body language is fascinating. 🇪🇦🇮🇹

As an Italian from the south...i don't understand anything

Arguing about the game, tho it's not italian but a dialect
