All due respecy but... you guys are being "Cody Crybabies" about this. I'm usually the one hating on changes, but in this case I barely noticed until i rewatched it and even then i barely noticed. The show quality/comedy in the later seasons is more than acceptable. I laughed a lot. Yes occasional episodes were bad, but the long-term canonical storyline was handled well.

New voices are absolutely terrible and cant capture the character. I recently watched episode one again, and it was so weird hearing that voice. Then episode 2 sounding completely different, and how Rick sounds until he was replaced. The pilot episode voice sounds like the new guys kinda. But season 1 to 6 right was amazing

I might be the only one who thinks Morty's new voice is still identical to like his old one, but I definitely am not the only one who realized the difference in Rick's new voice. Sure, Rick's new voice might still sound like his old one while talking normally, but you can clearly see the difference whenever Rick is yelling.

Meh....I could have done better. Just give me a sugary beverage with something that gets the throat irritated, like salt at the same time. Salt, oil and sugar and I can do Rick just fine. Actually, some kind of almond or peanut butter will do, that'll make the vocal cords a bit messy and then the sugar, especially if carbonated, lends itself to doing his voice easily. Also can do H Jon Benjamin as Archer, but I practiced those for years.

I mean I wasn’t a big Justin Roiland fan but all this change and drama also made me lose respect for Dan Harmond; he’s also a piece of trash. I tried watching season 7 and I’m fine with the belief that Rick and Morty was fine ending in season 6

Props to the voice actors. For me they have kept the essence of the voices , but the change that it looks like Morty voice is going through puberty and Rick got some cough syrup / sounds like he is healthier. It’s true they lost some of the iconic tones , but overall it fits their character development as well.

Rick's new voice actor kind of makes him sound a bit more sober-ish and there's definitely less raspiness but, I think he nails Morty!

Honestly, the voices were fine. Personally I just think that because of the transition Season 7 took a hit in the writing department. It really doesn’t help that in my opinion Season 6 was the best Season of Rick & Morty that we’ve gotten. It just felt so creative, the writing was snappy and hilarious while also being deep at several points. If you put the new voices in season 6, I personally still think it would have been the best. Not to say Season 7 didn’t have any good moments, it definitely did. I liked the finale, plus Rick’s final fight with Rick Prime. I laughed really hard at the Spaghetti episode. But yeah, overall a lesser season that was exasperated by the presence of these new voices people have to get use to. I’m confident season 8 will be better now that they’ve had some time and these new actors aren’t under as much pressure.

Rick sounds like he’s starting to lay off the alcohol. Which would make sense with how he’s connecting better with people and even going to therapy.

Morty is the same, Rick is not.

It's not just the quality of the voice that we're missing out on, it's the cadence and comedic timing. New Rick sounds like pacifist rick from the psychological detox episode.
