In 9 years of digging I've never dug so many dolls heads in the space of two weeks. I assume the child had gotten older and thrown them away. It's sad when you think the person that use to own these is no longer on this earth. These heads are 1880s so the girl that owned them probably died sometime around the 1940s/50s (just a guess of course)

Yeah I love the dolls heads. They look good mixed in with the bottles on the shelf.

Honestly I don't get it! I'll put a picture up in the community page at some point of all the heads I've dug just in the last few months. They're out to get me like some messed up horror movie.😆 The blue is the only blue of that shape and size I've dug in nearly 9 years. I'm out again tomorrow night buddy so hopefully I'll score big. These night shots weren't so great but when I have someone else to film me, the night shots don't tend to be as bad. Unfortunately on my own I'm battling with the shadow of my phone which makes things a little difficult. I'm still a bit new to RUclips and filming stuff so hopefully practice will make perfect👍

Thanks, Jane. 1880s tips are great; they can be a bit sparse but they can also deliver some 'extremely' nice finds - the 'Indian chutney' would have been special! 'get in' - I don't know when I started saying that but it's one those phrases that every time I hear myself say it, I think, "is that the only vocabulary your tiny brain could find you idiot?" 😆 I just start filming without thinking which is why I'm always correcting myself too. If I hear myself saying "should I say" one more time I'll cave the wall in and bury myself😆 Thanks again Jane and as always! Good luck on your next adventure.

@@diggerpaul1981 😆 Honestly I don't even know how you manage to be so articulate in those conditions, especially in the pitch black and having just moved a tonne of earth! I stand in the river filming something in my hand and my brain just freezes 🤣 I am willing a complete Indian chutney (or equivalent bucket lister) for you next dig or just something to keep the cold away ☺️☺️

Yeah the Indian chutney pot was a real shame. The age of the tip/dump I'm digging is a good age for good quality items but they can be sparse. I'll be back again in hope of finding some dream items. Thanks for the comment and best wishes, Digger Paul.

Thank you for the lovely comment. I have to remind myself to say more things about the items as I'm still getting use to making videos. I generally film stuff without any pre thought.
