Thanks for the feedback. I did the exact same ride today using the DJI microphone and put it up so I can watch it on the big tv. Then I can do a comparison. Hello, Tom here. If you mean the gold coloured metal rod I cut up to make the jock shift handle, it was an old caravan jack handle. I'm guessing that a handle like that would be found at a car dismantlers yard, slash bone yard. Many cars had jack handles like that. Just don't use the one out of one your family's cars, you'll end up in the dog house. Hope this helps👍

Hi Kevin, Tom here👍. The cruise control on Big Rebel is factory fitted. It's their in house electronics you might say. From the way Wendy describes it, it works extremely well. There are a number of after market cruise controls available though, depending on what you ride. Of the top of my head, I can't remember the name of any of them( I blame age😢). If you search RUclips for cruise controls for motorcycles, I'm sure something interesting will come up. Hope you muster the courage to remove that battery 😂, cheers 🥂

Wow! Nice little park. Ya'll are having waay too much fun. I'm struggling to garner sufficient gumption to yank the battery out of the ol' girl and hook it up to the battery tender. I'm not looking forward to that fun little chore. Oh, lest I forget - What flavor of throttle control do you have? I've just found some kind of throttle lock, and the Peddle Commander. As I understand it, it just mucks with the throttle electronics; not really a throttle control. I'll have to send you a new hat!

We had some issues with storage capacity so we bought a laptop to edit on and I have tried many different editing apps but the laptop sits unused. I simply can't get my head around the editing on it. I'm back to the iPad, it's just soooo much better for me at least. The iMovie app doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the " big name editing apps" but it's much simpler, (like my brain🤣). As for video, we have a DJI Osmo Action 3 with the DJI wireless microphone set-up. Have had issues with these under warranty and the camera was replaced because the USB-C port literally wore out, so no one has the perfect set up. There are lots of tutorials on RUclips for different microphone set ups for GoPros, so have a search there and you'll be well advised, I'm sure. good vlog Love the whole map thing you got about population nearly 27million compared to 334 million in America and here in New Zealand 5.5 million. I have seen a fair bit of Australia over many holidays over there and have traveled down from Port Douglas down the east side right down to Yorke Peninsula. Favorite places houseboating on the Murray River and Lakes Entrance. Have you ever been to New Zealand?

Love it and would like to go back. You have travelled a beautiful part of Australia. I love the East Coast but Western Australia has beautiful beaches and towns. The Murray is lovely. Visited Mildura a number of times when our daughter and son in law lived there. Too many dust storms though. ☺️

@@Wog68 Unfortunately, a bike licence is required. Rules might be different in other States but I really don’t think so. We are in NSW and formally QLD and it’s definitely a separate licence. Personally, I think it’s silly. A car licence should suffice.

@@Wog68 Ryker are expensive here compared to some other countries. You could get a good second hand 600 anywhere from $12,000 to $16,000 and maybe a 900 Rally from $15,000 to $20,000. A new Rally is approx $24,000 and that is the one that would be best for going around Oz. However, I have done 15,000 klms on my 600 including a 6000klm trip up to North Qld and back and I didn’t have a problem. 900 is best for off roads though. First day of spring. 🤔It’s kinda the first day of fall for us. My Wife & I are planning on getting rykers next spring. We had a friend tell us he test rode one & said it was hard to steer so we test rode one ourselves. Neither my Wife our I found them hard to steer at all. The only thing hard was having to end the test ride! Guess once you have your rally for a while, Tom Will eventually have to get an adventure on road/off road type bike?

@@sci-fyguy7767 Yes, Spring has certainly sprung down under in our part of Australia but damaging winds, flooding and cold down in Victoria and Tasmania. You just can’t pick it. Hot here again today but cooling off back to Spring temps tomorrow at least. I don’t have any issues with the steering at all and I agree with you and am pleased you also found it easy. Tom says there is definitely a difference but he is not too bothered by it. You are correct, after testing out the rougher back roads and seeing if I enjoy off road, I think Tom will upgrade to an adventure bike. That is if little Rebel sells. She is up for sale but no takers as yet. ☺️
