@@JoshNeedleman yes, I have had a few other 5’s in the past and currently have a Fender American Ultra Jazz 5 string and Schecter Stilleto 5. I like them all but the P bass is my favorite.

Hey Josh, Thank you so much for sharing this video. I’ve loved everything about the Allman Brothers band and especially got into the bass playing of Barry Oakley! He is just so good it’s incredible to me. Never dreamed I could begin to play anything that he did, but thanks to you and this video I’ve jumped in and had a blast with the bass! Still can’t do it with just my fingers, but, I’m happy with the pick. I do love the tone of the fingers and one day, maybe I will get there, but for now, this really rocks. Thanks again, appreciate you!

Hi, you play good but reprises at 1:24 are not on the beat but up beat. The QUINTE, OCTAVE and last QUINTE are up beat on the original.
In this particular case I was not going for exact, but to get a player playing the tune. Thanks for the feedback.
