There's only one critique I would have for this first episode, and it's something that's taught to every fresh off the bus recruit in boot camp. Never, ever, ever let your weapon get more than arm's distance from you! When he crawled under that flattened tank after the ammo can, he left his carbine and the rest of his gear outside. As soon as he had cleared enough space for him to get his knees underneath, turn around and pull the rest of your gear along with you. Especially if you're lone wolfing it.

2022 found myself watch this and think if this could be our future more then likely is the way the evil is in our world , let me die in the first wave because living like this isn’t living it’s barely existing.

No body can permanently live with a gas mask on their face. Why do these people keep making these post apocalyptic movies in such a way? It’s rediculous.

What gets me. Is that everyone has face masks and lots of canisters. Lol

If the air is still unbreathable do to radiation, then burning the local wood is not a smart idea as you will release radioactive materials from the fire into the air. Again that filter he wears with his mask is useless as it has to be past it's use since they are limited in shelf life use.

If it's been years since the attack. That Mask filter is going to be worthless they have a limited shelf life for use and require a change out with a new filter.

My thoughts only. After a disaster like this SHTF. I would probably don't want to survive like that. The only reason I would go on is because of my 9-year-old daughter. When she was gone there was no reason for me to live. No one wants to live like that, excluding a few survivalist who's like I'm not going to die. After that I would have nothing left to live for!

hey man, careful with those old com-bloc mask filters. that 1978 dated filter you got contains white asbestos. if i have one of those old head condom masks and 40mm nato standard filters thread and look fine for this kind of stuff. the swiss filters are some of the safest, the c2a1 filters aren't bad. beside that fuck'n A+ my guy

Hate when these films use some cheap Russian gas mask with a filter that goes bad 4hrs after the seal is broken. when we use masks it goes along with a full MOPP suit, and they are used to get out of the area fast. Hell our MOPP suits are only good for 6hrs. once you break the seal.

The tuna had a pull tab and paper/foil top in the first one, now you use your knife? What kind of search was that on the ONLY person you seen/killed in months/years....LMAO. Strip him down and kill what shows up for him at night. Coyote is a 2 day meal at least. These films need to be more realistic.

The only problem I have with this two part series is the mask filter......... in real life situations where these activated carbon filters are in use, they must be changed every 4-6 hours as they lose their filtration ability and become useless. Other than that (oh, and the complete blind luck of finding the exactly correct ammo for his carbine) these two little movies are great offerings. It's just a pity the series was never continued or completed.
