Why do these cyclist bother following advisory traffic signals such as red lights what’s wrong with them charge ahead your on a bike

Look at this lot, probably all have helmet cams so they can say at every opportunity “its going on RUclips mate” as they try and catch drivers doing something they don’t like.

None of these cyclists come out of it looking good. It’s a real free for all, riding three abreast and all over the road, blocking each other, not stopping at the zebra crossing for the woman on it and of course the one that jumps the red light. I cycle a lot but not in London and just follow the Highway Code as I do in a car. Sometimes you get stopped at a pedestrian crossing with a red light and no pedestrians in sight but I just wait for green. I don’t want to give any more ammunition to the anti-cyclists mob and who knows when they are being videod?

I'm 72, and I've cycled in 24 countries. People tell me it's dangerous to cycle in London. Cycling is not dangerous. Cyclists are dangerous. Never, never, presume that you have the right of way.

Don’t see the big deal, traffic was slow in the lane he joined, your on a bike so you don’t have to sit like a lemon in traffic so didn’t see a danger in what he did, different story if the lane he joined was fast moving so in my mind he read the situation and carried on, your just being a bit too sensible 😂

In the US you don’t have to stop at the three way intersection like this. You just need to slow down to yield anyone in the cross walk. It makes no sense to stop there.

They're lucky they're allowed to use the bus lane. We often don't have a lane like that, neither for busses nor cyclists. When I want to turn left to the street where I live, it's dangerous bc car drivers or other motorized drivers are ignoring my sign or are too fast or both. One time I even had a mad cyclist following me bc he didn't see me turning to the left and it was too close. But I was signing and turning to the middle of the street early enough, when no driver was in sight. You can't win. I know we're a hassle to them (too slow, too unpredictable), but that's what they are too (too fast, too unpredictable).

A whole bunch of ignorant cyclist including the DC. Girl at 0:35 has to run to get out of their way, pedestrian crossing doesn't apply to cyclists.

What about the three cyclists that made no attempt to stop at the zebra crossing @35 seconds just about missed the pedestrian who was clearly already crossing 😡

Typical arrogant selfish bike riders. They do not even show respect or give way to each other, so what chance do other road users (including peds) have against the two wheeled dress-up boys. Notice at 0.35 not one of the bikeys stop at the zebra crossing, instead, blasting through, endangering the life of the ped, who had to start running, to avoid the two wheeled menaces running her over. They all should have been nicked and prosecuted for that, had their lycra-fancy dress confiscated & their bikes crushed. Banned from using the road for 10 years.

I see entitled cyclists going through red lights - common occurrence, but not really worth a video? This morning on my commute to work, I saw a "so titled" Cycle Super Highway between Leeds and Bradford, totally empty on one side of the carriageway, which caused traffic congestion due to the physical space its 2 lanes take up (that is for incoming and outgoing cyclists). This means that cars, buses, vans, taxis can't move, so that cyclists can have their own safe space (fine in theory). Meanwhile, oblivious to the real world, a cyclist simply cycles on the pedestrian pavement on the other side of the carriageway. £29 million pound (plus) this cost to install and the entitled one can't even be bothered to use it, they'd rather ring their bell at the pedestrians on the other side of the carriageway !

RUclips inciting social anarchy and potential acts of murder putting bedwetting windowlickers like this channel as a recommendation...natural selection and the survival of the fittest hopefully will see the likes of this muppet eridiacated from the species within a generation or two...snowflakes do melt away eventually...😂

I'm almost 65. I drive every day (a van). I have no points, stick to the speed limits, been driving 48 years with one minor accident. I have course passes in driving with RoSPA and had advanced tuition with Thames Valley's top traffic cop, and skidpan testing. I am an excellent driver. I live by one driving rule: Remember that in life 90% of the people you meet are kunts. Those kunts drive, cycle, and walk, so expect them to be exactly as they are in life generally. If you expect that, then NOTHING surprises you - you'll never get any road rage.

That guy got a bit of Karma! If he had waited in line and not stopped abruptly on the crossing right on the metal cover, he would not be eaten ground and humble pie. I am always looking at the road for things like this, especially in the wet! He obviously is dense after his fall and still rode poorly at the next set of lights.

We rode together on Thursday 11th April and the weather was dry, so that must have been another day. I manage to get past the works in Charlton no problem, like when I was just ahead of you. There are some drivers who don't think!

Seeing as though this could've been a simple mistake and a complete non-event, and seeing as though you made a mountain out of a molehill, I'm gonna be VERY anal with this video, because clearly you're not a very mature road user, so I'm gonna be just as immature :) - 0:27 you keep turning too harsh and drive on the wrong side of the road. - 0:30 pedestrian walks to junction and waits to cross. You don't give the pedestrian priority. - You follow too close for a good portion of this video - 0:33 & 0:37 you reprimand the driver with your full beams, I'd assume your horn, too, but probably not to alert them of your presence, just to tell them off. - 1:06 you cut the corner when turning. - 0:43 looks to me like you pass the parked car too closely. Not sure what car you're driving and of course this isn't mega-precise as it's a video, but Google tells me the Qashqai is 1.78m wide (or 3" on my monitor). They drive bang-central on the centre lines and the gap between the Qashqai and the Toyota is 1.5" on my monitor, exactly half, so roughly a 0.89m gap. I dunno how narrow your car is, but considering you don't drive bang central on the lines and stay mostly in your own side of the road, I think it's safe to assume the gap you left was also too small. Watched some of your other videos and you don't see to be a terrible driver normally, so maybe you were having a bad day this day? Either way, I'd recommend the YT channel Ashley Neal. He's a driving instructor and I find his videos are really good for helping spot some bad habits, overlooked situations, and how to respond to or behave in different situations.
