Good question. Couldnt tellya..🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤣🤣..that was done years ago and im just the installer. BUT, she was a young girl who drove that car, so either its still working and she has the car..orrrr..she doesnt have the car and someone else is driving it. I usually am roped into installing these style radios..I just installed 2 of them for the same guy. Ended up ripping both of them out for two other ones. 700 bucks in labor. But I wish I had a better answer. Usually people come back if there is a problem. I think that was like 3 years ago, or close to it.

Ooph..sounds like it might be busted in there..you might need brute force to get it out..I cant tell without seeing it..but if the whole light is stuck..then you might to help it out with some force..but dont do it if you feel like your going to break something..I hope that helps

@@richideates My accord is 2015 Ex without navigation. I put in a Pionner stereo, bought a harness so everything would work. (Everything works very well) but I would like to adapt the Control Pannel that I mentioned in the previous comment to fix the clock on the main screen above. The brain of the original stereo is still connected behind the Pioneer stereo so that the cameras on the main screen work. The Pannel control was from another accord but it was a 2015 hybrid

That one I did not. But anything aftermarket is better than factory. I have a video that might help attached in the pop up banners. If not, I will attach it again.

Oh man. Thats an oldie. Usually you have to go to settings and find something that says car settings or vehicle settings. Every radio is different. But then you follow the prompts. Cant be more specific because every radio is different. But its usually hit the set button and then hit the corresponding button to learn the command. I hope that helps. Its usually in a "setting"..

It does not specify the 2016, so I would say no. But, I am sure it is very similar to the 17-up. Most vehicles are very similar in installing roof racks.

It sounds doable, but everything cant be tightened up all the way..and your definitely gonna need 2 people to line everything up..hmm..sounds better than actually doing..lol

Thats where ebay comes into place. I am part of their network, but dont promote them because they cant make what they want out of me clear. They make it seem like I have to make a commercial for them every video I make, promoting ebay motors. But you clearly see that thats not the case, I am just showing people how to remove things. Anyway, it sounds stupid because it is stupid. But if you go on ebay, you will be shopping from junkyards. If it is a mirror, should be plug and play. If it is the camera, then you need to get it recalibrated for your vehicle. I doubt you can just plug it in and it will work. I hope that helped.

The back of the radio is the least of our concerns as content creators..as far as what you want to do. I would doubt that you can do it anyway. These new cars need to be reprogrammed as far as new radios. Especially if you want to go into a bigger category. I wouldnt think that it wouldnt be as easy as just replacing the radio.

It stands for Body Control Module. I hope your not trying to remove it if you dont know what it is..🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤣🤣..its like the brain of the car for certain things like brake lights, windows, etc.

@@richideates no i want to remove the telemetry from the care in its entireity. I do not trust them to NOT transmit my location over the cell network just because i have honda link turned off. i want every single cell module in that entire care DISABLED. Either shielded with a Faraday cage or removed or having its sim removed.

I have no idea. I wish I could help. I dont know without seeing it and as far as the "locks" go, I am unfamiliar with them. If I had the car I would look, but I dont get cars like that. I get them when I get them.

If you pause it at 1:15 like I just did. I think that silver screw holds it in place. Funny you ask me that now because I am doing that in my new videos on how to remove the switches. Back then I wasnt doing it. Taking the door panel is easy, dont be discouraged. Do the back door like I did and see if it is able to be realesed from the back end. If so, just slide something in between the door panel and switch and see if they all pop off without needing to remove the door panel. Its easy either way. Removing door panels in most of these newer cars is quite easier than you think. That way you dont run the risk of scratching anything. Especially when putting it back. I hope that helps.
