6 Steps for Creating a Profitable Video Marketing Strategy in 2021
Hi Andrew! Loved the video - very useful. Always keen when I came across a Fuji user focused on action sports, such as motor racing. Just found you on IG and will DM to keep in touch. Cheers
@@carlosmozephoto Thanks so much!
@@acoopervideo Very welcome!
Great advice thanks
@@dreadnoughtphotowerkz Glad it was helpful!

What about aperture?
I still love my xpro2 but the fuji lenses… they are not bad, but. I recently had Leica glas on the xpro2 … ohhh Jesus … its like ahhh this is the true results of my camera sensor. Fuji needs to step up in the glas quality, meaning… do better lenses and charge more money. Its unbelievable insane how good the old German lens is in 2024. Leica is doing it right since 75 years, they don’t even need to think about if their glas reaches the sensors full resolution….🎉
Thank you for video! As a fuji shooter I wonder how you manage to use IT’S autofocus in such difficult conditions?😅
@@ИвановАртем-р4л I swear the autofocus worked better before a firmware update. That said, burst mode works wonders.
Hi there, you were talking about panning shots, and 1 thing you should have said was to fo;;ow through with the pan after you press the shutter, this helps to stop snatching the shutter pulling the camea out of the direction of pan. Using a tripod all of the tracks( trackside) is not allowed ! but using a monopod is, this keeps access for marshals/doctors free. If you have never done panning heres a tip , go to the end of your street or a street with a good traffic stream and shot the cars going by this will give you a better way to practice. As shutter speeds for head on shots you are a little low 1200 or above, remember that the springs.dampers are set hard and this will make the vehicle bounce up and down, not all racks are dead flat these tips will help to your keeper rate higher.
Thanks for any good video. You can always learn more. I'm fairly new to motorsport photography. Greetings from Denmark
@@RaceChannelDk For sure best of luck to you!
Thank you for that helpful video :) Can you explain why you choose the X-H2 and not the X-H2s?
Using a wide aperture seems odd for a panning shot. You don’t need a shallower depth of focus as you are blurring the background anyway with the motion. I find closing down the aperture helps as it makes the focus less critical. You also normally get a sharper image at a slightly closed down aperture
Man I was so oblivious to just how much more overwhelming the requirements to a would be videography career would’ve been before I even got there. I couldn’t even take one step to university with even salary issues and other limitations. Even putting a success story in a nutshell makes it out that some of the smartest people in this area are the few people who can actually qualify..
At 1.50 minutes, you said to start with a 1/20 shutter speed and "move down" to 1/60. And at 4.20 minutes, you used aperture priority so "the camera sets the aperture for you." Neither are correct.
Those two alsograbbed my attention. At 4:30 is stated that by adjusting the ISO to a higer value the sensor will become more sensitive. That is also incorrect it's more like a gain knob.
Good stuff I will alter some of my tricks as well. I shoot a lot at Laguna Seca ;)
Thanks! Are you going to the Rolex Motorsports Reunion this year?
Amazing tips! Subbed 👍
Awesome, thank you!
Good and helpful video dude. Also cool to see you're using the 70-300. I love that lens and I've also done some paid work with it in combination with the X-T4 (awesome and IMO a very underrated sports/action camera) and Tamron 17-70. I will try and get a second body later this year. I was going to get another X-T4, but this time in silver. What is the performance like on the X-H2 for action photography and video in comparison just out of curiosity, apart from the deeper buffer?
Thanks for the feedback! I think the X-H2 does an amazing job with action photography. For video I mainly use the X-T4 but when in need of two video cameras on a shoot will use the X-T4 for action shots at 60fps. I then use the X-H2 for interviews at 24fps.
🤣 Promo_SM
What lens do you use?
Fuji 50mm-140mm and a Fuji 70mm-300mm
Great
❤❤❤❤
Is this lens suitable for interior shoot?
Yes and have used it for real estate and car videos.
A copy of a copy of a copy
helpful, thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Its a great lens. I just don't use it much...
Agreed. Perfect example today was taking photos of my son’s basketball game. Covered all the bases for group, close up, etc.
Sounded like a u problem
For general subjects, documentary, and photojournalism, I use the following three Fujinon lenses: 56mm f/1.2 23mm f/1.4 16mm f/1.4 For vacation, travel, and one-camera/one-lens situations, I use the 23mm f/2 Fujinon. For video and backup to my prime lenses, I use: 16-55mm f/2.8 Fujinon 50-140mm f/2.8 Fujinon
Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks! It was good to hear from someone who uses the 50-140 for sports. I've been using my xf90mm f2 which is currently my longest reach Fuji lens. It's great, but some extra reach would be nice. The price of that 50-140 makes things a bit complicated though! Now, let's talk about two very important things I noticed in this video; that sweet burst Les Paul on the wall and that beautiful Martin. LOL! I live in the Lehigh Valley where Martin Guitars are produced. It's a very cool factory tour to do. I also have a Les Paul. Mine's a 1971ish LP Deluxe Goldtop. I have it since 1980. Well, thanks again for the input. Have a great week and Happy New Year!
Thanks for the insight. Happy New Year to you as well!
The 16mm is a great lens indeed. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. What gimbal are you using?
Glad you enjoyed it. It’s the Weebill S
Can this be used for video?
I have used it for real estate videos but the f4 aperture makes it almost impossible to film interiors without cranking the ISO. The barrel distortion is more noticeable at 10mm which why I just use it for photos. When I shoot real estate videos, I use the 16mm 1.4 (video review coming out soon)
@@acoopervideowhat about the sigma 10-18 f2.8?
Fujifilm has been amazing for my photography and that’s true for me.
this is the definition of clickbait title, some people might be switching to Fuji, but it's niche at best. No one using a decent Sony or Cannon and is in their right mind is switching to Fuji :D
I might be out of my mind then...😂 Happy R5 owner, with 3 RF L lenses and some "normal" ones, yet I usually pick my xt5 more often when it is about my own fotography and having fun. It is also my EDC camera, good luck doing that with an R5 and a 50 1.2...
Fuji is pricing itself out of the market. Even the older cameras, which are more likely to break, are so out of price range, few can afford them. Why spend those big bucks when you can buy different brands with less cash and newer equipment?
My XE1 I bought two years ago for $125 and my three XT2's...$250-400. The X100 line is the body that the price is out of control.
Nobody is switching to Fuji.. its market share is still just 5.8%. nobody except some snobbish portraits/landscape photographers and click hungry youtubers are buying or talking about fujifilm cameras. Even the Nikon has come much further forward in mirrorless than Fujifilm.
As a Sony camera owner, you might be correct about the percentages you quoted, but the color science, of Fuji film is fantastic and probably the best among camera systems. Why are landscape and portrait photographers snobbish, seems to me like a harsh statement? What type of photography do you gravitate towards? If you are going to chastise individuals on their camera selection please let them know what camera you use and why?
You can't increase your market share if you don't make more cameras available for sale. The most populair Fuji are always sold out. They should be number one for rookies and content creators.
@@RastaHenkie lol, for content creation? Most entry level and mid-range Fujifilm cams have overheating issues, reliability issues and recording limits. You must be totally ignorant of the developments in the photography world. And yes, those are the exact same people who go about recommending Fujifilm to beginners. Grow up. I've shot with fuji for 7 years before I switched to Nikon. My wife and I we own the z6ii, z8 and the new zfc now. Life without Fujifilm and it's strange restrictions is just great.
@@RastaHenkie I am not sure if fujifilm as a whole are geared towards content creators? I would say it more geared towards photographers? Not sure where you live but they are available at Best Buy/ B&H for the most part?
I feel like everyone's after that classic looking Fuji camera just as their travel camera, as for what he said about Fuji film comradery, I feel like all photographers share their experience and tips with each other freely no matter what gear they use, even if we bash Nikon for fun, we don't hate eachother at all, if you shoot Leica, Fuji, Canon, Sony, when I got into photography I noticed it's just a great community all around
Bought my fuji xt10 for the film simulations alone, just use it as my travel camera and absoltuley love it! Agree with you on these!
I just can’t do the ibis and AF when it’s so much better and easier to use Sony. If it wasn’t for that I’d be on the x-h2s for sure
Hi, Great Video . I've got your 3 except for 50-140 . I like Fujifilm gears .
Thanks for sharing!
I wish to get one, I have been hearing a lot of good reviews about the lens.
It's a really solid and versatile lens. Thanks for watching!
Excellent video. Thank you.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Hi, Nice video. I have the original 10-24 which I use mostly for video work as the internal zoom means no adjustments needed on the gimbal but since I am predominantly a portrait photographer, I shoot with 3 lenses now, The 23mm F/1.4 and 56mm F/1.4 Sigma and the Original 35mm F/1.4 Fuji. The Sigma glass is really good and at less than half the price of the eqv. fujis I could not justify the difference after testing. I recently shot a dance show (on a stage, in bad lighting) using the Sigma 56mm F/1.4 in AFC and it nailed focus every time I was very impressed the 50-140 is a lens I need maybe once a year, at that point I just hire it.
Thanks for the thoughtful response. I recently acquired the Viltrox 23mm which has been working great for in studio work. For reasons unknown, I can never get the 10-24mm to work for videos especially real estate. I did use it once for a BMW ad where I needed low level shots of an elf buying a car (long story). I would be curious what your settings are and results you’re getting!
@@acoopervideo I pretty much use the 10-24 in manual focus at F/4 or 5.6 which gives a massive dof and set focus at 5m to pretty much infinity. I also use it a lot for fixed video on a tripod. Off the top of my head , I shoot in 4k 24p with shutter speed at 1/48 h.265 Not really had an issues at all
I curious what camera and lense you used to shoot the video?
The talking head part to be clear.
For the studio shots in this video I used a newly acquired Viltrox 23mm f/1.4 with a Fuji xt4. In my earlier videos I was using the Fuji 18-55mm.
Really depends. If you're into lightweight, sigma 10-18 and 18-50 is the bomb and they are both f2.8 rather than f4.
I’m curious about the 10-18 for real estate videos especially since it’s f2.8 Thanks for sharing!
My must haves are the 16, 23, 35, 50 f2/2.8 lenses.
Thanks for sharing!
if i can only get ONE , what would u reccomend
@@leonthesleepy 23mm f2 is my must have. 35 equivalent, small, fast. Versatile focal length. I took this lens only many times on vacation and never regretted it.
Do not get me wrong as I am primarily a Canon shooter, with the R5, but I still believe that the Fujinon 16mm 1.4 is my most beloved Fuji lens, like ever!
Agreed! It's so versatile!
I prefer the Viltrox 13mm F1.4 instead of the XF16mm. It also replaces the XF10-24mm for me, as I have the XF16-80mm and the XF23mm F1.4 WR.
That 13mm looks like a good option for real estate videos. What do you normally film with it?
@@acoopervideo I take photos almost exclusively. But I know from some RUclipsrs that they also use the Viltrox 13mm for blogs. The lens is suitable for taking photos of architecture and landscapes even when the aperture is open, and is consistently sharp. From f/4 it is absolutely sharp. I would say that the lens fully matches the performance of original Fujifilm lenses. The only thing that may not be as good is the coating when there is direct, strong backlight.
Nice and informative video. Keep it up. :) But ... why do Americans wear hats inside?
We think we’re so cool the sun shines on us all the time 😎😂
To cover up the messy hair or lack of hair in some cases.
not just Americans.
GAS 😂
You should try 90mm f2. My personal favourite fuji lens
Wow! 90mm prime? What do you mainly shoot with that?
Portraits Mainly. @@acoopervideo
The 90 is really sharp, you can crop in no problem. So it's got reach. Plus with extension rings it has replaced the 60 macro I had with frankly better results. I also sold my 70-270 as a result of having the 90mm as up until 150 i just had better results with the 90.. It's excellent for portrait too. It's weather sealed and focuses well.... It's just so bloody heavy. It's the only chunky lens I have kept in my line up but I admitedly don't use it as much as I would have liked to.
Mind you if you have a 50-140 you already have a chunky sharp lens 😊
Love my 90 2!
Interesting, I don't have any of these. I'm much more of a prime lens shooter. I have a 16mm, but the 2.8
I’m moving in the prime direction myself especially for video. For photos, it can be tricky in run and gun situations.
Personally just use the 18mm 1.4, 16-55 F 2.8 and XF 55-200. 50-140 is an amazing lens but is just way too bulky for me to carry around and the price is also very high. 16 I used to use but was too wide for me so I changed my route don't really take wide angled photos much to be honest. 16- 55 is an amazing beast mode of a lens for mid range but Ill admit when it comes to size and cost I do regret not purchasing the 18-55. As a non professional and hobbyist, I would say there are many lenses out there that you dont really need to spend the big bucks unless you really really care about your photos or well you have unlimited pockets.
Thanks for sharing! I considered the 16-55mm but thought was too bulky for my gimbal and also wouldn’t work filming cramped car interiors. For high quality inexpensive lenses, I’ve started playing around with a 23mm Viltrox prime and it’s amazing.
@@acoopervideo Yeah Im thinking about in a little bit to switch over to a 3 primes for traveling purposes - 18mm, 33mm and maybe the 50 or 90mm. Also seriously thinking about the F2s. the 23, 35 and 50 are so miniature and good to carry around but not sure about the performance capability.
What is the most flexible lens in Fujifilm?
@@benlachica1730 Flexible is subjective. What are you looking to use for? and how much money do you have? If you are asking for Flexible I would definitely say a Zoom lens. I would say look at the 16-80, 18-55 and 16-55. The 18-55 I believe is the cheapest since its a kit lens and has variable zoom. 16-80 is very flexible as well but has a lower end F stop which might matter depending on what you are looking for especially low light situations. The 16-55 imo is the king and the most expensive. 16-55 is Weather Resistant and has the fastest Autofocus and a consistent 2.8 F stop which is pretty good for zooms in low light. But it is really bulky compared to the others and has no Optical stability compared to the others but if you have a XT4+ I think the body has it inbuilt.
@@benlachica1730 In my experience, the 18-55mm works well for video and photos in most situations.
I've got your first 3, and I actually purchased them in the order you presented. Instead of the 16, I actually have the Sigma 56 f/1.4 for my portrait work. I'm an Oregon Fuji photographer out here on the East side. You've got some nice work here.
I’m in Central Oregon! Probably could tell from the broll lol Thanks for the comment. Hit me up if you’re ever in Bend.
