When I first started I found it impossible to get out of bottom side control. I’m better at escaping that now. I’m not a fan of bottom north south position. Are you a jits practitioner?? What positions do you find hard to escape??? I also find mount tough to hold on to, oddly. I still have a mountain of knowledge to climb!

I sort of feel like when I was a beginner white belt and not able to get close to a blue belt, that’s now the feeling with purple belts. I’m excited to continue my journey and acquire new skills. How long did it take you to get your blue belt??
