    You just gotta love the Yanks...they get the job done, in the UK we talk about it about for years, the cost goes up and quite often the project is then abandoned.

    Why won't they let women work these construction jobs? Glad Jamie Dimon will hire 51% women for investment banking roles once the building is complete.

    Death Trap building design. That base is scary deadly looking. Looks like it's going to tumble over. You'd think after 911 these Mega towers would stop some. Americans have short memories Sadly. You wouldn't catch me living in Wokeville. Streets are a crime infested ZOO.

    It’s a shame when banks and insurance companies can afford to build huge buildings like this… that should give you an indication of how much you’re being overcharged.

    Great video my Uncle Al was a steelworker in NYC. He worked on the Throgs Neck, Whitestone, Brooklyn and Verrazano bridges. Started working on The World Trade Center in 1966 up until 1971. Great stories from Uncle Al who started after WWII in 1946 and he retired in 1993.

      Uncle Al was a true Ironman

    • @johnschaefer2238
      @johnschaefer2238 12 дней назад

      He was. I was a Network System Engineer and worked in the WTC when the truck bomb went off in February 1993. My cousin Kenny Uncle Al’s son was injured and spent Friday night at Beekman Downtown Hospital. Drove out to Westbury to see how he was and I walk in the house and there’s Uncle Al in the kitchen with Kenny and his wife and he’s talking about unretireing to go back to work on repairing the damage caused by the truck bomb. Uncle Al seriously wanted to get back to work on the building after retiring at 66. Being an iron worker is like being in the marines, once an iron worker always as iron worker!
