Recognising your Carbon Monoxide Alarm
I WAS JUST TRYING TO COOK GRILLED CHEESE
sir i was sleeping in the same smoke alarm and sudently it go of wen i try to silence it bruh go of again
Continuous sound is loud!
Can you put the four beeps warning at the beginning of the video for gods sake It’s the most important one!!!
Why can't they make better smoke alarms that don't bust your eardrums? How about a remote control to stop the sound.
I'm in a hotel and it keeps flashing, no beeps tho
Is carbon monoxide good?
Thanks for the beneficial information
Can you see carbon monoxide
Can carbon monoxide kill You?
I MIGHT DIE GUYS!!!!!!
I have a question. WHY DOES MY ALARM NOT HAVE THE YELLOW PULLEY? I DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO IT. HELP ME.
Why would you ever have any alarm that malfunctions emit a continuous sound that is as loud when an actual emergency happens? That just sounds like an actual emergency, and it sounds just as unpleasant as when an actual emergency happens. It's just a malfunction and it needs to be fixed, it's no more urgent than the device being at end of life. I know we need these alarms but I shouldn't have to fear the alarm more than the actual carbon monoxide poisoning
Overly complicated smoke alarm for no reason...
Please ban this company from selling awful products
You must be Kidde-ing me. The video is f****ing ridiculous
So sick of these things
I need the user guide
It doesn’t open , has no battery , won’t stop chirping , doesn’t say shit, the instructions are microscopic and don’t mention anything of use.
That video was so helpful!!! Thank You!!!
It started beeping loud aF when I held it 😭
So how do you remove the back plate? I'm visually challenged so don't tell me to read the instructions. Not impressed with your video.
Where is hush button on Kidde alarm
Whyyyyy is it alwayssss late at night when I don’t have a battery and the stores are closed?
This is a very helpful video, but why doesn't EVERY single alarm have this simple and important information ON the device?!? It wouldn't take much space!!!
Why not state the danger alarm warning 1st? Smh
Very good point!
Yay I’m safe
The kiddie brands SUCKS!!! The hush button didn’t work! I had to repeatedly press it ( literally til my thumb hurted!!) Trash ass American products. Always half assing. lol this sound came out of nowhere and it scared tf out of me ( I was smoking a blunt 1 of at least a thousand !) never heard that noise ugh and it was so repetitive
this mf LOUD AF and started after the leasing office was closed😡
Crap alarm. Alarm set off for no reason. Could not silence. Literally had to hit it with a hammer. Only 3 years into the supposed 10 year life cycle.
These things are pieces of shit
This video was the only one that showed me what to do with the red little spring-loaded strip. Once I got that properly positioned I could very easily put the alarm back into proper position. Thanks a bunch!!!!!!
Mine looks exactly like this but has wires attached to it so it hangs. Do I disconnect those (and if so how) and reconnect after swapping the battery (and if so how)
There is nothing I hate more than smoke detectors.
mine beeps once every 10 minutes. what does this mean?
My grandparents have this alarm and it is SO annoying. Cook *anything* in the clean counter oven and it goes off. No smoke, no steam, just maybe the increase of temp from the little toaster oven across the kitchen? But we straight up have to have a chair placed under it because it goes off EVERY TIME. 10 minutes is not enough sanity saving when baking cookies. I'm so close to just dismantling the dang thing if we intend to use the kitchen.

Thank u you just saved me so much (further) aggravation 😂 we could not figure out how to get it back on the wall but didnt realize we needed to put that red level down under the battery and it kept getting in the way of alignment
Can you use these cheap model detectors for hot tent Camping? I guess one concern is that there's too much price gap between like a 20 or 30 dollar cheap model and a better model that can measure and tell you parts per million. And when camping you need something that won't go off on every tiny bit of smoke, but will go off when it reaches a certain amount. Does anyone have advise on which models would work with this kind of concept?
I was finally about to fall asleep at 1am then my alarm went off 😭 first, the random high pitch beep scared the shit out of me and then, not knowing if i was going to die or not scared me too! So huge adrenaline rush at 1 in the morning is going to keepe up all night-. At least i know now I'm not going to die tonight 🥲👍 (at least not from carbon monoxide poisoning)
The smoke alarm keeps chipping at night keep me wake
How do I know where the -ve and + sides go? This was useless.
It actually takes two minutes for the green flash not 30 seconds. Video is helpful but misleading.
Mine just did a long beep. Was scared that it was monoxide but turns out to be a malfunction
No help here
As soon as I put brand new batteries in the alarm, it starts chirping. How do I stop it from chirping?
