Camera Op and Video Director Training
How about fade two camera shots
The overly vocal audience member, is ruining the experience.
I've been a camera operator at my church for a little more than two years. I've just found your channel as I endeavour to build on my skills to serve God and his church. Thanks for an informative video. Subscribed!
Hi! How do you get your led wall not blown out on the cams?
Hey there - we have the brightness of the LED wall running around 20-25%. Every wall is different, so don't just go off those numbers. It's all balancing your front light brightness with the LED wall brightness behind it. Brighter the front light, the brighter your wall can go without washing out. Hope that helps!
This was very helpful, thank you for sharing. I've learnt a lot and I'll definitely improve on my skills and my team.
Great video Disagree with the “establishment of the song” thing. You’re not doing a tv broadcast. Your doing a church service.
Luv it
Woow! What Amazing backstage experienced I lived with this video. Thank you guys for share it with us. I learnt a lot. God Bless you!!
Thank you so much for the video.
The guy to the left is annoying. Lol
Geez that one guy can't read the room. Kept talking even when the speaker started talking again.
Great video. The main issue I saw was the speed of the pushes were often way too fast.
It doesn't feel like a video from 6 years ago! It was a really helpful video. I still don't understand why I watched this video now!
I love this video, it’s helpful. 🔥
Why haven't I seen this before? Love it, love it, love it. Going to use to train my guys and gals.
Thank you so much for this video! It thoroughly covers all of the basics of event, camera operation and is going to save me a lot of training time.

Impresive i partake of this grace ......
Great to watch this bts. I do have a question allthough this is a rather old video. What about crossing the line especially with the lead singer? It looks like that fundamental rule is constantly broken. What is the reasoning behind that or is it just an error or something overlooked? Hope to hear from you guys as we struggle with that because of the positioning of our 4 cameras. We now have them all on the same side because of not crossing the line with the lead singer.
Crossing what line with the lead singer?
Really loved watching this but the only push back I have is with the use of fades. For the most part, it's use should be limited to openings, slow transitions within a song, and transitions between songs. It's also important to utilize negative space between shots to avoid "ghosting." Otherwise, you will make audience go cross-eyed. Lol
Man this just help me redesign the flow of our entire team. I have been looking for help and haven't found what I needed that would work for us. This is extremely helpful. Thanks!!!
Nice this is great
What is the name of the website you mentioned when you were talking about Standards of Operation for Always move quickly between shots. I could not under stand the name of the website that had useful information on camera techniques.
Really helpful video, just starting out as a camera operator at my church next Sunday. Thank you for making this available to everyone. I feel like I learned so much and can also use this on my personal RUclips channel.
How'd it go? You still doing camera?
@@aguyandhiscomputer it went great, currently I’m not on the tech team anymore, but hope to get back to it when I have more time.
@@TinagirlTravels I hear ya. Never enough time to do everything. I've been doing it for 14 years now. A few times a month on Sundays and Wednesdays. Used to have 5 cameras but only 3 now.
Will you guys be sharing more training videos?
stupid irrelevent title,
*DON'T WEAR FLIP FLOPS*!
Wouawww
Can we get your handouts? Training resources
By chance donate equipment to church you not using? Hope you get to see this comment..
Your Directing is phenomenal! Thank you for sharing these multi-view BTS videos. It has been super helpful for me to begin coordinating with my CO's going forward.
Great Video ! More Vladimir!
What camera are you using ? Where I can buy it ?
please waiting for next level 3
What lens are you guys using on camera 2?
Can you do a similar tutorial video for ProPresenter 7?
What mount are you using for your viewfinder on the back of the camera plate?
"come on!" Your congregation had to be pushed to praise God? Interesting.
This would have been an hour training if the guy on the left didn't interrupt at all...
Sir can you show a map of how u have u are getting the audio (coming from your mixer) syncing with the video from your switcher - My goal is to run all singers and instruments to a mixer and run the sound over to my Cam Swithcher - dont know if i need mics on each cam as well or the mixer with sync will adujust all cameras
Great job!!!!!!
Every creative ministry has SOMEONE annoying who always wants their voice heard. 🙈 This guy on the left is pretty extra. Grace.
Yesssssss.... I was like chiilll mahn... The host was getting pissed but was handling it well... 😆
Agreed. Interrupting, not shutting up when the host starts talking again, etc.
Thanks for making this available! Super helpful for me and our team
Would be grate if you carried on these insightful videos
Nice video, but i really dont like the audio
Took a drink of beer every time he said “okay”
How are you giving your camera ops the red and green bars to know when their shot is being used?
It's built into the video switcher and cameras.
Power rangers
Very helpful. Thank you for this!
Who’s the guy that keeps interrupting? It’s kinda distracting from the training.
