This version of Dust regrets his own genocide, which is why he wasn't at Judgement Hall and decided to meet at the church. To end the human's judgement, but in order to make sure they don't come back, he knocked them unconscious and buried them alive, so that he can rest peacefully without the human coming back to mess with him. In case if anyone saw the blue screen with Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, Mettaton and Asgore, sans killed only Toriel, Alphys and Asgore while the human got Papyrus, Undyne and Mettaton. So, both of them have an equal amount of DETERMINATION to fight each other.

This is what Dusttale must be, not “Haha, I went insane and killed everyone”, it’s about Sans being only focused on the human. He doesn’t think of anything else, only about ending the human chaos once and for all, no matter what methods he use, even if it includes killing people. Another thing that I love is how in the last part you can fell Sans desesperation with the human by his attacks and music speeding up

Tbh it looks almost canon. People are forgeting what dust suppose to be. He is mad man, he doesnt care if he is playing fair now, morales are shatered, no food? Your problem, want to have a break? infact, fanon Dust ain't that bad, if we look closely into it, it's not that Sans wants to do it, he HAS to kill other monsters to gain more power, it's quite logical why he's nervous in the ruins or snowdin, he's on the EDGE of breaking down to mental insanity, what im saying is, if this Dust would be an example for waterfall one or even further, it would be pretty accurate since he snapped, he didn't care about feelings or anything.

As much i don't like empty dialogue fight, this version does not really need it to be one of best short fights Sans really executed his entire race ( except himself ) to lose himself except one goal: to make human suffer slowly, no matter how many times until they eventually lose determination. I know the faceless has LV 10 but the desc in gamejolt confirms that sans killed every monsters, and i mean EVERYthing.

A rare instance where the sheer difficulty tries to represent the story well. It's Sans, my guy is busted. Now as he gives it his all, he ABSOLUTELY pummels you to bits, he REALLY NEED YOU DEAD. The attack patterns and movements sell it, and of course, the actual *"getting to the point"* with all show and NO talk, because Sans doesn't wanna talk SHIT after what you did.
