I had 300+ then restarted with 180 then was like man it take so long to retwist. THEN I restarted with 90 and finally I combined to 76 and I am very happy with the new size and I am planing on continuing with this number (unless I last minute combine more 😂😂)

I'm all late but #3 was my fave.

I wish I could find video using a fitted hat. I wear fitted hat at work it's a part of the uniform, but I don't want my locks exposed, can't find any info that'll help anywhere and I've searched the net for several hours with various key phrases.

I just started mine on my own 2 months ago on Halloween using the two-strand twist method. This is my second set. I have 58 locs and am loving the journey. I started my first set late last year and it only lasted about 6.5 months. I intentionally did bigger parts with this set so they’d be thicker this time around which is just one of a few reasons why I started over. And same, as for having thinner hair on the sides in the front and thicker everywhere else; so I think I’ll have similar results and end up having locs that are thinner in those same areas and thicker everywhere else, but it’s cool. I’m totally fine with that & am just happy to finally have locs now. 😌😎 I’m gonna start using black castor oil for the hair in the front too. I was a loose natural for 3 years before attempting to loc my hair for the first time. I love coming across content from other black women who have thick locs too! Thanks for sharing your loc journey & tips!! Much appreciated!!! Yours are so beautiful, btw!!!! ☺️🤎✨

Can i ask something? Is that natural locs? I want like that too🥺 but in my country, i have 2 choices. Natural locs or perm locs. The salon staff said perm locs is the best recommended if i want to use cap all the time. But i just want natural locs.
