Great kittle gun. But, The rrigger sucks. 7-7.5 lbs. Replaced with Overwatch 4.5lbs.
I agree, I am replacing the trigger with an apex enhancement trigger, brings it down to 4-4.5lbs
Rather do this upgrade than the lakeline barrel 😂
Thank you for your video. Canik has a punch tool in the case.
where to buy these parts?
the links are in the description where I got my parts. Alternatively as @AngelRivera-wp9bg said you can also just order the Ultimate Surefire topside upgrade kit from Lakeline LLC about 90 buck and switch your whole striker with the upgrade. Just pull out the whole striker and replace with with the upgrade. Makes it a bit easier!
My follow up: Received all 3 parts thru your link. Because of your instructions, took me all of 5 minutes with a 3 minute break. Fully functional and now to the range to run a couple hundred rounds. Excellent instructions. Thanks much!
Glad to hear it and that you have it working in functioning order!

Guys wanna know something cool? The 17 round mag for the hellcat pro fits the regular hellcat. Take the grip space off the 15 round mag and put it onto the 17 round mag so there isn’t a gap.
hell yeah bro, this got me straightened out in 5 mins!
Awesome!!
What do you when you buy a ar15 form the pawnshop and it looks good but have rust in the barrel? Do you buy a new barrel are new gun?
Ideally you should ALWAYS check the gun first and foremost yourself at any shop, even if not a pawn shop before buying. I personally bring a small flashlight and ask to break the gun down to check myself. If they don't let you then you know you shouldn't probably buy it lol. None the less, if it is a gun you really want and it is a decent deal, it can be worth it as long as you get rid of all the rust. Because if there is a lot of rust it can be dangerous and buildup too much pressure from inside the barrel and eventually causing an explosion. So it is best to get a gun without rust (and always maintain and clean it after every use), second best is to do the following which works wonders and gets the gun back to fully functioning safely! Completely degrease the gun and then boil it until all of the rust turns black. Then, using a CARDING BRUSH or the the finest steel wool (#0000 steel wool), brush off whatever easily pieces come off, if any. The rustier they are, the longer you boil. You can't over boil either, so don't be afraid to do it for 4-8 hours if needed. Boiling converts the iron oxide into a magnetite molecular structure.
I believe in God, but please look into Switzerland history and how we got the constitution of republic and declaration of independence from them.
I will check that out, do you have any references or sources? There is a lot of back history to USA, the Illuminati was also created 1776. Ultimately it still stands USA has the closest thing to a ''Godly'' country on paper, the governments and organizations are corrupt plenty and there is a lot of evil that still goes on, the point of this video is that we do not get our Right to bear Arms from the government, we have always gotten it from God. So we did not get our Right to bear arms from USA, or the constitution, or even from Switzerland, we got that from God Himself.

Yes, this is where I got a lot of the information from, I redid it and said so in the description. Learned a lot in this process. If you think some facts stated in this video or the one you yourself shared, let me know, I made sure and tried my best to check all the facts of that day in History and have cross referenced historical writings and references online. So if you know any that are incorrect let me know, tell me why, and share evidence of such claims.
@TheArmedNational If I remember correctly the rescue of hostage was 1 man, there was not hundreds of ships, I think it was like less than 20, only five Americans died from that night.
@@TheArmedNational ohhh, sorry I didn't look at the description 😅
@@Val-z8I when you research the numbers it is 28 in total, 24 at battle of baltimore and 4 at fort mchenry, with many more being wounded, 24 wounded and 4 dead at fort mchenry, a lot of wounded and several dead were holding the flag in palce for it not to fall. Plus, back then this was a lot of men, the armies were no where near what they are today in sheer numbers. To lose 28 men in such a battle is a lot today. The fact of the matter is, this still fits the story as was told. Even with the numbers officially listed below, it was a miracel they managed to prevent a loss and keep the flag up. Not many people today would hold a flag with 20 ships bombarding them repeatedly around them lol. What about a Taurus PT111? I’ve heard mixed things on dry firing it
Taurus manual for the PT111 says NOT to dry fire it, but the Taurus website says you CAN dry fire it. I would use snap caps either way as personal preference and gaurunteed insurance protecting your firing pin.
I love this video. Very informative. I just ordered the same model you have. I want to use the 13 round mag, also. You said, with the 13rd magazine. The height is the same as the Hellcat Pro. I want to add a Hogue Handall Beavertail Grip Sleeve made for the (Hellcat PRO) off of Amazon. But, I'm not sure if it will fit the smaller hellcat with the 13 round extended mag. What do you think?
Glad you found it useful! Another follower pointed this out to me about the 13 round mag, and corrected me, when the 15 round mag is in the hellcat it becomes the same height as the hellcat pro, the 13 is just a touch smaller. So for the hellcat micro models I find the 13 to be perfect for me personally, the 11 flush is too small for my big hands, and the pinky extension is good enough, but the 13 round is perfect, with the 15 a bit too big for a micro, but nice to have in case! Regarding the beavertail grip sleeve, YES it will fit your hellcat pro with the 13 OR the 15 round mag, the extended bit at the bottom will stick out regardless of you having a beavertail grip on it or not, the beaver tail grip will only come down to the base plate of the mag as if it was the factory magazine itself, so the 13 and 15 is the same for the grip, the grip just wont cover all the way down but you can throw it on for that added stability and grip increase! I had one for my Taurus G3c, and used 12 round mags and 15 round mags and it worked perfectly for either, same applies for the springfield hellcat, and pro!
Awesome! Thank you!
You are welcome glad I could help!
It’s barely snappier than other micro 9s . This gun is not a range toy . It’s for concealed carry . It’s one of the smallest in its class with the most capacity. This is very capable at self defense range (3 yards) may never need to use it so the snappy-ness doesn’t even matter.
Exactly, for me personally the snappyness doesnt seem anything more than other micros.
Your the only one I've read saying this maybe you need a smaller
No safety?
My particular model I chose was without a manual safety. You do have the option to select the Springfield Hellcat with or without a manual safety though if you prefer. I personally chose without a safety, because this is my main conceal carry self defense gun, and I personally prefer having less to deal with under a high stress situation with fastest reaction time from point of danger awareness to the point I can fire my gun, for me a safety adds about half a second or so to that response time, so I do not run safety on a lot of my guns for this reason. Nothing you can't drill down and practice yourself though from the draw with an added small thumb movement to turn safety out, I just personally did not want to have to worry about it. And as long as your finger is off the trigger until you are ready to shoot, the gun is perfectly ''safe'' as with a safety on it anyway.
@@TheArmedNational makes absolute sense.. thanks for your input
Just a heads up the manual safety on the HC is great if you do go that route, TheArmedNational makes great points, no issue one way or the other, comes down to personal preference and training, but if you like a safety, the HC is nice because its extremely tactile and its pushed back compared to others like the 365 with a safety, meaning youre less likely to accidentally engage or disengage it, but its still extremely ergonomic to disarm on the draw.
@@GranTigerGaming Hellat safety is great, Wouldn't be without safety. Plus, You don't have to use it.
What holster brand do you use?
For the taurus I use warriorland, they are decent kydex holsters and havent had any problems for them. You can find them on amazon
I love my G3 but those are in my opinion upgrades that you simply have to do, it really changes the handling and even with the cost for the upgrades it’s still a great price overall.
I have found this to also be true for me. At the budget entry point, taurus has cut corners, and the main corners cut haoppen to be the use of the plastic components inside the gun. Rectifying these few small upgrades really helps the performance and feel of the gun overall making it a solid firearm after all is said and done!
Thanks man🤝
Glad you found it helpful!
Great video.. thank you very much
Glad you found it helpful!
Nice
Thanks!
One thing an "unboxing" doesn't show you is the super reliability against failures. After running a few thousand rounds through mine, over the last 3 yrs or so, it's been perfect, with any and all ammo I've fed it. I have the 11, 13 & 15 round mags for it. Super versatile. Amazingly durable. The Hellcat can handle lots of +P ammo too.
Yes, this is what I have heard from many owners of the Hellcat models, absolutely love this gun as well! I still have not ran into any issues either. A solid conceal carry firearm for sure.
The hellcat pro handles all ammo I’ve put through it as well. The whole Hellcat line is solid

I have built firearms for Decades. I Recently purchased 3 Caniks, and I simply cannot thank you enough because the instructions were not clear. You helped me tremendously. It seemed simple but was not and this Video made my day, Thanks for that.
Glad to hear I could of been help for you! Yes it took me hours to filter through a lot of random videos people explaining how to do parts of these things. I knew I needed to come up with something easy for others to understand so happy it helped! Side note, Canik is coming along pretty well, Turkish forearms are doing pretty good. I almost bought the mete mc9 but only thing was the grip round the back bottom area of the magwell, my hand didn't like the grip too much, but the SFX Rival shoots amazing and the trigger is crisp and smooth, short reset out the box!
i have done this upgrade on my g2c five years ago .
Good stuff!
You know that this is not the real story, right? I mean, some of it is true, but this story is over exaggerated.
All the stats I took at the beginning and end are factual and historically accurate. The story is as accurate as we have gotten through the poem of Francis as well as the historical accounts of the survivors. So it is pretty true.
Those who disrespect our anthem and flag, have never been presented with a folded one. Those who claim inaccuracies have never presented accurate information.
Ummm what?? Actually my family have been presented with a folded flag, my grandpa was a navy seal. Most Americans that actually paid attention in school and did some real research would know for a fact that this story is not accurate. This video is the same as the one that everyone is doing a reaction on, which is told by a paster in a church. @FUSUNDAR_P
@@TheArmedNational You might need to do a better research than.
@@TheArmedNational Also, that's why I said some of it is true, but some are exaggerated.
where u get that american flag pad?
just type in "american flag gun cleaning mat" on amazon and plenty of options come up.
Can the barrel of G3 put on G3C? More accurate and long distance?
I have found on forums and seen pictures where some people have done this and it can work. Bear in mind that Lakeline's threaded barrel is 3.9 inches, and the G3 barrel length is 4 inches, so they are pretty much almost exact length. Only difference would be the G3 barrel will stick out a bit more from the slide and no option to thread, as well as the G3 barrel being relatively cheaper than a threaded barrel from Lakeline. Basically down to aesthetics or which you prefer, do you want the option to thread it to add a compensator or silencer when you want, or just added length for that uncommon look that still functions well and improves accuracy a bit while maintaining the lower weight of the G3C? Up to you! Either would be awesome choices. If you aren't going to use comps or silencers 95% of the time and want to save a bit more money, just get the G3 barrel 4 inches and call it a day.
Very nice video and excellent instructions but just order the Ultimate Surefire topside upgrade kit from Lakeline LLC about 90 buck and switch your whole striker with the upgrade. Just pull out the whole striker and replace with with the upgrade. No fumbling arounds with springs and pieces to lose. You do not have to take it apart a just one kit already altogether with the steel upgrade to essentially plug in..
That is awesome!! I was not aware of this at the time I upgraded it, I will pin this comment for future viewers that would have been a bit easier for sure, either way, both methods significantly improve the gun.
Hey brother Thanks for the info. Seriously.

Glad I could help! If you happen to run into any other issues with this gun, let me know and I'll look into it.
My mag baseplate seems extra long compared to yours. Makes my handle look longer. Can I swap mine out for a shorter one?
That should not be possible unless Canik accidentally supplied you with an incorrect base plate size. I cannot speak for all Canik bundles, but my Canik SFX Rival came with 2 plastic base plates, and the 2 aluminum base plates, so the only varying sizes are insignificant in terms of the material. Which Canik do you have? The same as mine or another?
when you put the 13 round magazine in, it is not the same length as the hellcat pro. If you put a 15 round magazine in then it is. you can’t use a 13 round mag and a hellcat pro.
Ah cool, thanks for the info, that makes more sense cause the 15 is a bit bigger.
Is it suppose to click I got my on but it doesn’t click
I mean it may or may not make a ''click'' noise necessarily, mine did cause I did it so fast. As long as you make sure the spring is through the base plate arched area and fed through there, then put on as explained in the video, it won't go anywhere after that! you should be good to go.

Great tutorial !
Thank you! Let me know if you need any help with it, but it is relatively simple as the video explains.
question about the plates. is it necessary to change the plates/ why is aluminum better?
It is not necessary exactly, however I prefer them as the aluminum adds a bit of weight to the bottom of the mag, which aids in the mag release and it emptying a bit faster. Plus it is a bit more durable than plastic. Some people prefer lighter, I prefer metal.
So informative, thank you!!

Take it apart then throw it away in the trash. Another Taurus pistol that's been recalled by Taurus starting in 2023. Quality of their revolvers are much better. But their pistols have been loaded with issues dating back since 1997.
The current ones have been recalled have been fixed, mine in particular had no issues. Budget entry pistols will have budget entry problems, but majority work perfectly fine for the price. Taurus has full warranty on thier firearms as well, personally I like them for being budget entry. I am however switching to a Canik Mete MC9 or Springfield Hellcat for my EDC very soon. I prefer the trigger on that one.
Awesome tutorial. I was looking at replacing those exact parts. For under $50 its totally worth it too.
It definitely is worth it, pretty straight forward getting it done yourself too, and the fact you can get everything you need off of ebay is a win win.

@TheArmedNational yeah along with your 3 picks I'm swapping the barrel to the gold threaded, and adding a rail instead of the ironsights
@@sirniigil4324 excellent choices, threaded barrels are great for home self defense as you can slap on a silencer at night, saves your ears from hearing damage which to me is crucial.
Great video. I just recently did those upgrades. Remember to save the old parts in case you need warranty work. Polishing the feed ramp on the barrel and trigger parts. If you have a video that would be great.
Yes, good idea to save all spare parts for your gun. I may do a video on that in the future, currently my main EDC is a Canik Mete MC9 however, this taurus g3c I worked on upgrading and then sold it. I probably will buy another G2C or G3C for cheap in the future to continue doing some vids on it though.
@@TheArmedNationalreason to go mete mc9?
@@zlor9304 personal preference, saved up a bit more money and I have come to like Caniks a lot. Gun is clean, trigger is crisp, great pull and reset, Canik comes with a nice all round package in all thier gun purchases too including holsters and accessories, I also like the Mete MC9s magazines as they are cut out at the back at the bottom end, which results in less printing when carrying IWB concealed. It is peronal preference though, and I may be going with Springfield Hellcat instead. I'll make a video about it whenever I do.
Excellent and easy.
Thank you, hope you found it useful! Let me know how your G3C shoots after upgrading it! I personally felt the improvement being noticable.
What is a good "starter" gun?
and, how much would I need to spend.. the cleaning products in the last vid are reasonable, but I'm looking for a lower-priced gun that is easy to use if need be
@@ashleyc6157 Depends on your goals and needs. If you are wanting a basic conceal carry gun, budget entry is always good because it does not cost too much to get into the market of conceal carry. I ersonally would go with a Canik Mete MC9, or a Taurus G2C or G3C. The Canik is a little more expensive around $400 but it comes with many accessories on the Canik website. they come with mags and even an inside the waistband holster, and basic cleaning tools for the gun all included. So for value Canik is great. Regarding the Taurus G2C / G3C, those guns are good because they are around $200-250 used, although the trigger is pretty bad from my experience. However, I started with a G3C and it kept me safe for 2 years! I would say, if you are looking for a first gun, take an extra 1 - 2 months and save up a little extra to get the all round package of the Mete MC9. I wish I did that for my first gun instead of getting excited and bought a Taurus G3C immediately instead of being patient and doing some more research. Hope that helps!
