Why would anyone be mad. Taxing him isn't gonna make my life or yours better. Our govt spends such an obscene amount of money. It's way easier to reduce govt spending than it is to plan out the long term repercussions of taxing loans or stock holdings. That wealth is in the US that's good for the US. You start arbitrarily taxing them heavily that wealth relocates and the US turns into Venezuela or N Korea. We all pay taxes on everything and every one of those taxes was originally designed to fund government projects to the benefit of ordinary people, and every time the wealthy figure out a way around it. Because they will always have as fleet of tax lawyers and lobbyist. Bezos didn't steal the money, we all give it to him every time we order something on Amazon.

I work, receive a little check and a percentage of taxes get pulled out. That little hundred or so dollars won’t do much. But the tax percentage from bezos “little” check could go a longer ways than mines could. If we all did what bezos is doing, wouldn’t we all be greedy and selfish? I’m just trying to understand.

@@corollamanding0197 I hear ya. I look at it like this. Say he makes 10billion and we tax him at 80% that's 8B. US defense budget alone is 10x that. Total budget is 20-30x that. And alot of that money is wasted within the bureaucracy for every 1$ in taxes the American people see about .05$ in services. The rest is defense spending subsidies, foreign aid, salaries of govt employees, etc. and if we taxed them at 80% they would leave. They would take themselves and the companies overseas. Then all that capital would be gone for good, which would actually reduce revenue to the government dramatically as well as eliminate tens of not hundreds of thousands of jobs.it would hurt the US economy alot. That's what happened in Venezuela when they socialized the county, now they're trying to fix it and their dictator is killing many in the attempt. Taxes in general are a con job. Only government agencies that should have a budget at all is defense, which could be cut in half easily if Boeing and Raytheon and others didn't have their hands in the cookie jar so deep. Then perhaps NASA and a safety net SS/medicare. Most the agencies and cabinets in the exec could be eliminated and the country would be just fine..

I get to choose from dozens of companies with hundreds of sorts of seeds in all kinds of variation(some "breeded" for more resistance against drought, some into higher yields in regions with much water, some to grow large or short for more or less straw there is literally a good sort for anything you want. Some of them grown on neighbouring farms... The thing is: most people use only the whitest flour where the good nutrients are sieved out and only the starch and gluten stay behind😂

And one thing Harvard doesn't do much of is stepping away from society standards. Most of that 40% isn't actually obese physiologically. Obesity doesn't mean big, round, and fat. Sumo wrestlers are known to be huge or even fat, but they are FAR from obesity. pacific islanders can have big builds but it's not obese. Being 5'7 and 260 pounds is not obese. Having a belly is not obese. What you see on the outside may not be what you think is on the inside.
