How many tries would this boulder take you?
Nah lol
Ofc height matter it matter in every aspect of life and if your short I’m sorrry but learn to be second place, A LOT
im 5'4" and i hate when i can tell something was designed for the average male height which is nearly half a foot taller than the average female height. certain parts my wingspan physically cannot reach the gap, id have to horizontally throw myself 3-5" to make the gap
I’d say like v6 and below it is like definitely but above that your technique should shine more than your height for most climbs. I’m still growing but im 5’5 and there’s some climbs where I just can’t do shit and this 6’2 guy will come in and just reach everything and break into a new grade when his technique is horrible
Which crg location?
Framingham
I would think there would be some advantages to being short because of the inverse square law or something
It can be cuz shorter levers require less force at the pivot point, but you have to be able to reach still! Its all give and take whats hard for someone may be easy for another even when you climb at the same grade! Most pros are around average height with a few outliers in both directions🤙🏻
You mean the square cube law. And there's some truth to what you're saying. Strength is proportional to the Cross-Sectional area of your muscles. Weight is proportional to your volume. So as you get taller your cross-sectional area gets larger slower than your volume because of the square cube law.
Swimming
I cant swim
the one where they sweep ice
Curling? Could be😂
I will admit, before I climbed I would watch videos and be like "I could do that." Now that I do climb I know I was incorrect.
I thought homeboy was talkin about herron 😂😂
I love birds!
if you want to know what it means is 1: dont forget to have fun 2: climb with strong people 3: work on your weaknesses
That septum piercing tell me everything I need to know about this complete fruit cake 😂
And also that one doesn’t even need to dyno
Dyno is the intended beta so u sound clueless 😂
I mean, not to judge but dude, just by looking at your position to jump for it looks really bad. If you don’t have experience doing dynos I will recommend to try a simpler one
Not to judge… judges 😂 this video is a joke, fingers fine,i sent it next try
@@RustyClimbs 😅good
Great tips just flashed V17 because of them
Good to hear 💪🏻
What does it say?
Its 3 tips
Someone in the comment section was polite and kind enough to type it all out for us who doesn’t speak Japanese😊
@@RustyClimbs Thanks for the tips!
at least we know its authentic
Gotta be true
💪💪💪
wow thanks this really helped 👍
Ofc, Japanese climbers are super strong for a reason!
That dead point is a jug 😂
The dead point is to a polished sloper, that move made most people cut feet and slip right off. I Definitely made it look easier than it is!
Good video, not v8 at all,
I dont set the grades🥰
also speed, when I've projected a problem long enough I force myself to just not adjust my grip every other move. Saves so much energy especially if they put the crux near the end
Climbing quick can definitely help!
bro trying to pose for the front image on a CLIF bar with that skill
Call me clif from now on 😂
Those first couple v8 sends always feel amazing! I've alrdy sent a few 9s and v8s still feel better lmao
I love a good v8 but my few v9 sends have been struggles so they have a spot in my heart😂
@@RustyClimbs the fight is real for 9s! Most people don’t enjoy the struggle but honestly I prefer it to an easier v9
I maintain climbing is pretty much the only sport in the world where 1 day of rest can make such a big difference in both a good and a bad way😅
Facts
lets goooo
Needed a good send been feeling weak!
sick send!!
Appreciate it! Was a bit of a battle 😂
Made that look smooth
Working on the flow
That is so good rule. If I come to a some wall that I have project and see that someone is already projecting it I just switch to another wall/place(idk english is not my main language)
Nah for me it’s spend a whole 3 hour session on one route and then send it first try the next day
I do that ALL THE TIME, makes me think damn maybe i was tired 😂
@@RustyClimbs I know dude but it’s ONLY after that whole session of failing the route that you can then send 🤣
Bro he would probably fall on a vb
Bruh definitely dancing horse thing 😂
The horse is doing all the work!
@@RustyClimbsyall have clearly never ridden a horse before smh like Istg
Thats where you’d be right! Thats why its the easiest to become an olympian cuz nobody else cares to do it👌🏼
@@RustyClimbscoming from someone who has ridden horses for almost 4 yrs the horse definitely does not do all the work the horse takes the signals from our hands, legs, noises coming from our mouth, and our body movements the horse is just the one that performs the movements the person is telling them to do. It is honestly so annoying when someone says something like that about someone else’s sport just because it looks easy. And before someone comes at me just remember that if someone says that ur sport is easy even tho it’s not u would be mad at them too so just keep that in mind the next time u say something about someone else’s sport.😊
You need to have a perfect mental state amazing confidence in a bond with your horse. It’s not just riding.
Easiest to _learn_? Yeah could be climbing.
“Easiest to become an Olympian” not to learn but that would probably be running or throwing event, an average joe would get destroyed but could at least complete the event, most people couldnt even start an Olympic level set👌🏼 my vote for easiest to become an olypian is either the dancing horse thing or handball😂
@@RustyClimbs It literally says to learn. Did you not watch the video you stitched?
“To be there in 2028” so to combine that sentence and “easiest to learn” i just said easiest to become an Olympian. I then went on to say if it were just to learn it would be running etc and gave examples
@@RustyClimbs No, you didn’t. Unless you just completely fucked up your grammar. Which, I suppose, would make some sense out of your concept of the word “learn.”
@@RustyClimbs the dancing horse thing is called dressage and it is extremely difficult because you have to train for years like most of the horses have over 10 years of experience under their belt with that specific rider most of the time And it's incredibly precise and you need to maintain so much control keep in mind. This is a over 1000 pound animal that does not speak your language understand your language and you don't speak or understand their language meaning you have to be very careful with your signals and very precise and also keeping the horses head nice and tight and collected requires so much strength because the horses natural head should be stretched out. You know it's pretty abusive though so I think it should just be removed from the Olympics.
Why is that so true though?
Sick
Why, thank you sir!
dude ypu slayed that cross over on the yellow holds
Love those moves 🤙🏻
@@RustyClimbs climbing is so much more fun when u actually hit the cool moves. especially when ur feet cut
plungers are a great idea for rock climbing bro everyone should use them
lol the plungers on the texture holds looks lit ngl 😂
I’m gonna lie it does look fun
LETS GO COLLIN DUFFY AINT GOT ANYTHING ON YOU
😂😂 i taught him everything he knows
Haha
W
Ayyy feels like i havent seen a comment from you in a min💪🏻
@@RustyClimbs yea was off youtube for 2 weeks
Free solo is the absolute worst I love climbing and bouldering and go at least twice a week but i can free solo because I'm actually scared of heights
fr
Everytime, i think i have one more go but my fingers disagree 😂
Aye! Is that Worcester CRG!
Si
The first time I saw the dude fall from the speed climb was wild, didn't know thats how a body acted hitting the ground from that height.
It’s tough to say because the ground is also semi padded so there’s some bounce from that
i was not expecting that holy shit
Send! But why not go back and find beta without the crimp? You can do it!
Its gone now 🥲
V9 Edit: I was way off
Felt like v6/7 so not the furthest
Bro are you high? You really thought that was V9,
v2 in my gym
V4
Sandbagger
