This presenter did very well with the description, however, he should have shown the Carrier wall control, not that off brand as that one would not work with the greenspeed equipment. Remember what he said. In order to get the most out of this one, you must use compatible Carrier Infinity components with it. The VNA line is also best when paired with the Carrier Infinity zoning system. 😍

Could this cause refrigerant levels to be low? Had an issue with my unit recently and have had 2 HVAC companies come out to do leak testing with nitrogen and a leak cannot be found. The unit was over half empty on refrigerant and is only 4 years old. The filter was definitely dirty which obviously is my own fault

$700 mini split installed by my son and I took 3 hours. HVAC company wanted $7,500 to replace my dead central ac unit.

I bought mine for $29. Two wires to the capacitor. Compressor takes about one second to spin up. It’s a Supco. SPP6.I d recommend a $350 install, too. But I’m just a DIYer

Why is it so hot in my basement when I use a dehumidifier? What is the normal setting? It seems to be blowing hot air, and it's getting very hot .

Never buy any high efficient unit because once they go bad then it will cost you more money that you will ever save in electricity. I have problem with Trane unit . if the indoor fan stops running still compressor keep on running, This is bad design.

Never buy any high efficiency Trane unit. Please. 1. Problem number one. If it goes bad Edwin costume arm and leg to figure it out all the snakes that it has inside I mean electronics. 2. If the indoor fan is not working still out side compressor condenser keep on working thus it freezes coil and all the pipes. This is bad design. 3. The money you will save in a high efficiency it will go down the drain in one repair. I mean technicians hours and the labor charge. Electronic parts are also expensive. Ordinary motor cost about $150, to $200. Did ECM motor cost $800. Plus labor charge. Does the high efficiency units are no good not economical.thank you.

My 25+ y o Lennox 4t unit has always had a funny start. Initially it started with a significant bang for a few years then settled down for several years and for the last five or so years it seems to have a pregnant pause combined with a vibration. The time period is about 1-2 nanoseconds maybe three. Can you give me a guess? on wtf I can do to get it resettled down. Otherwise it works as expected short of needing about a half pound of refrigerant every couple years or so. Holds pressure for 24 hours. Thanks

I live in the Southern California desert, it’s currently 115 degrees outside. I live in a Single story house, my kids bedroom rooms are on the other end of the house with the air exchangers, the master bedroom were the thermostat is, struggles to get below 78 degrees but my kids room is freezing.

The M-S AC worked good for us over in the war zones, of the hottest part of the world. They were called Chigos. Do your research and make sure you get the right brand. And make sure you get an installer that has knowledge and experience with the Mini-Splits!

$4400 for an air conditioner, that's crazy. I got mine 15 years ago from LG and cools the entire house 12.000 BTU, for $350.

So what kind of whole house humidifer will work in my house in the summer? When there is NO heat going on. We like the temperature about 78 degrees, so the air conditioning turns on regularly. I cannot seem to fiind this information anywhere.

My main concern with a mini split is that if it were to go out after a few years I wouldn't be able to afford to replace it and then there would be a useless thing in my wall that would be an access point for hot/ cold air....

you are saying that to cool our homes the heat pump absorb heat from outside and then heat up our rooms ,how ? if the temperature outside is in minus degrees.

So I can run a small generator (like a portable Westinghouse 2200 invertor generator) to power my Furion 15K RV roof AC, what is the difference between a Hard Start kit, a Soft Start kit, and an EZ start, for my 15K RV roof AC unit. On my last RV, the manufacture (Dometic) they just sent me an additional capacitor and they told me to never install an EZ start kit.

Is this model still being sold? I only see two Carrier Infinity air conditioners listed on the Carrier web site.
