Growing Intuitive Eaters
США
Добавлен 29 янв 2021
I help parents raise intuitive eaters, help their kids try new foods, learn how to talk to kids about food, and start feeding your baby. And I am super passionate about working with parents to NOT pass on disordered eating behaviors to their kids. I love practical advice, evidence-based nutrition, and reviewing fun feeding products! Happy feeding! ❤️

Target Toddler Bar Review by Dr. Taylor! [Nutrition, Messiness, Cost]
I don't have safe foods. But I have unsafe foods. I can not even smell it. Im like afraid of the food. I really dont know what ıs wrong with me. I dont like to talk about it too like I dont want to write them or see drawings of them. If you experience the same thing or know someone that experiences the same thing can you please tell me what is this?
So. Let your. Child. Eat. Shugar. And. No. We. R. Not🙂↔️🫡😠🤬🧐
Thank you so much for this. My oldest daughter has an IgE egg allergy that included baked egg for two years. Fortunately, she can now have baked egg. My youngest was diagnosed with egg FPIES yesterday. I really appreciate the information and validation about how hard food allergies are!
did u do a Day One vitamin review?
💜 relatable
Careful with Daniel Tiger. My son will no longer eat peaches because Daniel is allergic. 🙃
I have arfid to
Personally I like the unsweetened one and I eat it pretty often as a ‘convenience food’

Lets talk about the harmful chemicals in the cheap flintstones vitamins like red dye #40, yellow #6, blue #2, just to name a few. The more expensive vitamins are dye, chemical and sugar free. Keep that in mind, you get what you pay for.
All healthy foods are expensive but if one wants health the money given is worth it.
Oh hey, this is exactly what we did! My son has already forgotten all about candy, and he got to be very excited about it for a few days until the novelty wore off.
No offense, but Jake’s mom is has common sense because most young kids are not gonna eat the vegetables unless you tell them to
Thank you so much for this video. My son has been on Miralax (and Pepcid) and I'm eager to get him off of these. I just started trying Papaya enzyme to replace Pepcid and am very hopeful that fruit/juices can replace the Miralax.
This is a very smart and amazing idea!
This is absolutely the correct way to handle this! I’m almost 30 and my mom did this with me year round, we didn’t have junky food around all the time-but when we did I was allowed to have my fill and wasn’t restricted. It took away the thrill and still to this day I’ll get a sugar craving maybe thrice in a yr, I let myself have what I am craving and don’t want it again for months.
This is great parenting! As a kid, my parents used to hide and take the candy, which led me to keep a bunch of my stuff hidden away from them taking it. Your kiddos are lucky to have a great mom! :)
Zit
Why?
@Ur-Local-Liyah zit
you should describe what the switch witch is because i've never heard of it and other may not have too
It’s like were parents exchange their kids candy (kinda like the tooth fairy)
I wanted to share my experience in the comment section as well. My son has been taking Hiya multivitamins for past 1 year and he loves it. I tried Flinstones but he didn’t like it . I don’t like giving him gummies plus Hiya does not have any dyes which I really like. I also gave him Hiya nighttime and It did work for him too. I also never had any difficulty canceling or rescheduling it. Also, when you order it for the first time you get discount, I think I paid around 17 something dollars. The negative is that it is not cheap and specially if you buy more than 1 product from them. Also, my son has ASD so I am happy that he loves it.
I think there needs to be more research done on gmo outside of google and I gotta PhD they legally have to tell us whether their product is gmo or not anything that says bioengineered on it is gmo the gmo crops that are mentioned in this video are true but those crops are not the only gmo products and yes the other things that were said in the video are true too like labeling to make people buy certain things but more research needs to be done
It was definitely hard to cancel the subscription. I sent the email asking to cancel and didn’t notice that they sent me a reply asking if i was sure I wanted to cancel. I was charged again after I sent the email asking to cancel.
???????????????????

So i ate waffles that was part of the recall two weeks ago. The past 10 days ive been struggling with intense stomach pain nausea, vomiting severe headache muscle ache back pain diarrhea and constipation. I thought its my ibs or lactose acting up but now im actually worried i just saw the news..
The past 10 days? It would’ve gotten more urgent more quickly but go to the hospital right meow dude.
contact your doctor ASAP
I hate you
This diet is outdated and we still don’t have a real solution. Love that recommendation
I’m so happy that I stumbled upon your content! It’s awesome ❤
Are there any machine washable cushions for this chair to make our LO more comfortable?
My daughter's have always "behaved" better or have less "problems" at school and have more issues at home and mostly only with me. can masking be done with everyone else but the childs mom? Or is it actually my failure of being consistent enough? I am firm and clear and I have even gotten better about consistency but they still struggle quite a bit more with me around.
lol, real.. 😭
Thank you♥️
💜
Thanks for being honest, RUclips is so full of shills for everything. It’s pretty frustrating
Thank you for your review. And they send a thousands emails
Apple and Prunes blended; taken at breakfast does wonders.
Supposedly multivitamins are bad about not actually having much "vitamin to it" and it's not crap so.. that's wht even Carnivore doc Dr Ken Berry give his kids HIYA, "just in case" bc ge knows some vitamins are just scams
Also, in MY area, Flintstones vitamins are 10 bucks not nearly 7. That sucks. There's a STORE brand for almost 7 bucks though and it's supposed to be A Flinstones knock off.
I'm 9 and these won't walk not even laxatives I well still eat them maybe it well help a little bit
So how much protein is too much for a 1 year old (that weighs 28lbs)?
A lil late but good rule for kids 1-3 years is 0.5 protien grams per pound. So about 14 grams of protien. Iam not a nutritionist so don't trust my information 100%.
I think this is what people who live in academia talk about and regurgitate to the general public as if the issue of food is language and not scarcity or waste or malnutrition or eating disorders.
This lady is why we have so many fat kids
We all stay at the table until every one is done. No one is expected to finish their plate. My oldest has adhd and does stand up half way through dinner.
My kids eat oatmeal porridge with raisins or apple pieces or banana slices or fresh berries 2-3 mornings a week, if they want. Otherwise they get oatmeal buns or yoghurt :]
Amazing! I like that you don't label did as good or bad, but are realistic about the nutritional value of foods. Can you also recommend a book or influencer for intuitive eating for adults?
Thank you sooo much! I'm gonna learn so much and make myself the best arfid charcuterie boxes!
💜
Thank you for your non judgemental, non fear mongering content. As an adult with scrupulosity/morality OCD, autism+Adhd, ARFID +etc I struggle to inform myself online cos so many people sell you smth or tug me into unhealthy restrictive eating thought patterns. If you had not already, could you break down what an adult needs throughout the day, like the different nutrition groups(not as in unhealthy food Vs healthy, but rather in "you need this amount of protein on a sedentary completely lay in bed-day as a minimum and this minimum on an active day+ carbs +different groups of vitamins and minerals& you can get protein from this, this and this- here I'm giving you a long list of options with protein sources& in case you can't it big lentils&chicken&meat yet, then try this" and examples of meals for people with different activity levels& different Arfid aversions)? I am not very connected to my sense of hunger at all, thankfully have 2 deep frozen vegetable mix boxes from the store as a safe food+sweet potatoes, runny eggs and all kinds of berries. But I really struggle to find professional help where I'm at right now and am scared to look further than your channel, cos I fear to get sucked into disordered food thoughts that seem to be so normalized on a lot of channels. It is kinda insidious Open to suggestions from commenters about books or blogs or other RUclipsrs or their approaches to a relaxed way of dealing with food, that stems from scientifically proven facts and is not fear mongering foods.
You need help, not youtube.
