Just started ADHD medication as a late diagnosed adult and had no idea how much of a struggle eating would be. Thank you for this video!!!

As a child who was predisposed to obesity and had undiagnosed ADHD food got sooo messy for me. Literally every person in my life was pushing dieting on me and I didn’t like “diet” foods. I was obsessed with food and finding ways to get the new and interesting food (but that didn’t bug my sensory issues) and I felt like the only way to do that without judgement was to sneak and hide. It felt like everyone else thought being hungry was desirable. So I packed in the calories in secret and ate what I was “supposed” to eat too. All this to say is that I love these strategies but make sure we are talking to our kids about what is working and what isn’t in the most non-judgmental and constructive way possible.

Love ❤️ 😂the video and vibes!!!!!!!! But I wanted to say ask and share some thoughts 💭 about what happens if you struggle the other way???????? Like for example have an appetite and you have medication that makes you hungry 😋 🤤 and want to eat more than you should…….. kind of like always being hungry. Maybe 🤔 you could do a video of that too. Thanks 😊 🙏🏻 again for sharing this amazing 🤩 awesome 😎 helpful video.
