Look at Meyers', Dubon's, Loperfido's, Cabbage's last 30, 15, and 7 games and they are ALL AWFUL. Yes, Chas has looked bad, but he, like Cabbage, Loperfido, Dubon, they don't get CONSISTENT playing time. Meyers is a different story. Meyers' plays consistently and has looked awful in the last 30 games. Chas's OPS was in the .800s in June with much less playing time vs Meyers. Meyers' OPS in June was in the .500 range, with consistent playing time

As a Freshman, Reed is way ahead of Nash and Stockton. How meaningful is it only time will tell, but he’s gotta a chance to b a franchise-altering player. R Stone has done a very good job assembling an exciting group of high-level talented players. Houston is one year away from becoming OKC, if the same culture can b developed & sustained, once the big $$$ enter the picture. Jalen Green is the obvious big ?? He needs to show that he can score efficiently & under pressure, as well as defend @ playoffs level. Lots of Ifs, naturally, due to the youth of their core, but the Rockets r sitting on a large pile of dynamite talent. Thank u James Harden!

This is the most racist interview I’ve ever heard in a long while. And Udoko, being an Immigrant in this country, is a lost cause as a Black Man. It’s not surprising he cheated on a beautiful Black woman for a White woman he’s no longer with, and destroyed his own family. He’s reminding us of our enslaved Ancestors to carry out the Slave Master’ deeds and sht. So, it’s about I.Q. now. And this Reed kid was drafted based on that. Give me a fckin’ break! It’s not gonna translate like these clowns think. There’s no such thing as being able to execute high basketball I.Q. if all the other guys lacks high IQ. And having high IQ doesn’t translate to wins like these Whiteboys think It’s about athleticism, ball-handling, skills and team work. That beats high IQ everyday of the week and two times on Sunday. That’s why guys like like Cam Whitmore and Jalen Green are greater importance than guys like Alperen Sengun and Reed Sheppard. Better yet, team up Sengun and Reed vs. Cam and Green. Sengun and Reed would have a huge advantage given the size and height of Sengun over Green and Cam but I guaranteed you Green and Cam win. Why? Because their athelicism, skills and handles will overwhelm TF outta Sengun and Reed. Sengun might end up popping his knees again trying to stop Green or Cam. I fear the Rockets organziation in the hands of Tillman Fertitta and Rafael Stone is turning out to be a terrible thing, man. You don't hear an accent when he talks? This is how most people in Kentucky talk btw. I sound similar (just learned I don't have a thick southern accent, cool). I wouldn't call his mom's Eastern Kentucky accent "southern" though, certainly not deep south. I would call it maybe Appalachian or a "mountain" accent. Also younger people in Kentucky and elsewhere don't have as much of an accent as the older people. His dad is from Georgia so his dad has a deep south accent. His mom is from eastern Kentucky so he has a mixture of accents.

most important thing Stone said? the goal is to grow it organicly if we can and we think we can. that statement excites me because it aliigns with what I have been saying all off season. WE MAY ALREADY HAVE WHAT WE NEED WE MUST ALLOW IT TO GROW. the day for change will come, but until we know what we have we must stand pat. Alperen was the 1st to blossom. we may have seen Jalen begining to blossom. Amen and Cam took steps. Tari before the injury looked real good and even Jabari took a step. what we saw last year was the egg crack. this year the full animal will emerge from that shell

100%! So many rebuilds get marginalized because there’s an urge to signal progress with some kind of splash, they lower their ceiling and tighten their window. And I mean coaches always want MORE NOW as opposed to later because every game now is what goes on the resume. I think the GM/President had to be the one who holds the longer view. I pray we keep our powder dry.
