I tried mouth taping for better sleep for a year - and it worked!
I taped my mouth shut at night for better sleep for a year. The results were quite astonishing as someone who's had 2 sleep studies done with inconclusive results for sleep apnea. I used to choke on my breath in the middle of the night and wake up multiple times a night. After mouth taping? No more!

How Many Watts Did I Gain In 4 Months? Zwift FTP Ramp Test
Hi, how do you feel about the Wheeltop eds group ??
Hi ya, I'd say about 25 - 28mph
@@jabbads65 29.764mph! 😬
Thanks for the RideNow new tube update. Have you tried CYCLAMI's TPU tubes with the metal valve? The valve core is not removable, but the treaded metal valve is nice as it is easy to fill due to the threaded retainer nut.
@@NWGreek I haven’t tried Cyclamis tubes but have heard good things about them 👍
0:33 18 kilometers 11 miles was that round trip or one way? I wish America would get on board with this I constantly have to look up measurements. I was thinking about riding to work because I do not have a choice right now. My commute would only be 2 miles that's nothing maybe I could go past and back. 😂
That’s 18km/11miles one way! Maybe you can make a detour that makes your commute a bit longer so you can enjoy the ride 🤙
If you work closely with people like I do at the bank and there's no chance to take a shower (squishing into a sink is no an option 😅) it's unfortunately won't work out... Yeah, when you work somewhere in the back office or have your own space and don't contact people much you can afford such a luxury to ride a bike before work hours...
You’d be surprised at how polished you can look after a quick rinse at the sink and a change of clothes 😂
installed 32 mm conti gp5000 at front and works well :)
Wow that’s awesome! With what wheels? I couldn’t fit my Conti GrandSport Race 32mm in Magene EXAR wheels which are internal width 23mm and external width 30mm
Elitewheels ent-disc 2.0 internal 23
Love using my Atomic GT ski helmet (w/built in visor) for winter biking - much warmer, covers ears and most of face, etc. but I would caution they only really work if you're in a more upright biking position (e.g., mountain, commuter, etc.). If you are using a bike with drops, the extended back of the helmet makes the full range of motion needed to look up difficult (not to mention the weight you need to keep up). One other downside is the ear covers will muffle external sound.
@@Kloverkill good callout about the upright position and range of motion! Winter cycling is all about compromise 😂

Cool! I'll have to try that, do you find you still need to use the tape, or do you naturally breath through your nose without effort?
Throughout the day I’m more conscious of breathing through my nose, but I still use the tape at night 😂 it’s almost like my security blanket
Is that a special tape or does regular scotch tape work?
I use medical tape because it holds best. I think scotch tape might not stick well to skin. Here’s the link to the tape: amzn.to/496tzIc
What’s your experience with mouth taping and sleep? Comment below and don’t forget to subscribe. Thanks again for watching 🙏
what if you have a cold?
If I have a cold, I learned that it’s best not to tape those few nights where I’m coughing. Once it gets better, I make sure there’s a hole/space for my mouth to cough if needed for the air to escape 👍
I cycle when i can and i find on those days im psyched for work....thats the biggest plus for me it sets you up for the day
@@doyle133 💯 agree with you on this. Makes work days more exciting!
Do you use CO2 cartridges and inflators with these? I’ve had issues getting air into the plastic valve version. Would love to know your flat repair setup for these.
I’ve used CO2 cartridges before when I got a flat, but topped it up with air once I got home. I also use my mini electric pump all the time on these and they work well 👍
@ which CO2 inflator do you use with your cartridges? I cannot get the valves to take the CO2 on these tubes.
Not fast enough 😂
Gotta get more speed 😂

They have mtb wheelsets on Amazon for $520, one of which I just saved to my wish list. I stay in Detroit Michigan right now, so your roads seem a lot like ours LOL. I have a custom built MTB that I use for short commutes and errands besides trail riding (mostly blue trails) Hopefully your review will reflect the quality of the MTB wheels also (that type of bike of course requires more durable parts).
@@TivonSanders it seems like they’re doing good things on the road front, so I’m assuming they’re just as capable in the mountain side of wheel 👍
I've been using the new Ridenow TPU tubes, so far so good.

Hi thanks for the video, getting decent quality tools at a reasonable price is always a good thing. The one tool I'd like to see you review is a torque wrench. Most mordern bikes come with a torque setting so I'd be interested in the torque wrench that you are currently using and maybe ones you have used before. Thanks 👍🏾

@@jabbads65 amzn.to/4eIt6NU try that one if you're in the states
Hi, could I search the destination like Google map ? And, could it connect to wifi ? Tks so much for answer !
I think you might be able to in the One Lap Fit app and then sync to your bike computer, but not on the Magene head unit directly.
@henrychungfitness tks so much ! ❤
Okay I got one question if you climb a hill what gear ratio do you use? Sry I don't ride roadbike so yeah😌✌🏼
It all depends on what you’re comfortable with and how strong of a climber you are. I liked having 32t in the back for this climb but that’s my personal preference. I usually ride either 25 or 28t in the back for regular road riding
As a retired mechanic I still have an interest in tools, these look like nice to have around when you need them. I still have a few of my old auto mechanic tools, wrenches, screwdrivers but I put together a bicycle tool kit, I have one t handle in 3/8 size and I swap out the bits as I need to. For Allen wrenches I found a nice set with ball ends at the local discount tool store, I only needed a few but I just put the ones I need on my work stand tool tray I have bought some bicycle specific tools lately, a bottom bracket socket, a crank arm puller, cassette socket and chain whip, a chain wear checker. My street-fitness style commuter bike needed a new bottom bracket since I was taking everything apart I swapped the 3 ring crankset to a 1X I rarely used the small or large ring, may old middle ring was 38T I went to a 40t I really like the cleaner look. One tool I thought I would never need is a butane torch , My old crank arms didn't want to come off resisting the urge to use my favorite large hammer and cause regrettable damage to my bicycle I tried using penetrating oil and still they wouldn't move, I applied a little heat around the shaft of the bottom bracket and they slid off, please do this outside away from flammable sources and don't apply heat too long aluminum can melt easily, I do have one those claw type gear pullers but I passed on using it not taking a chance on it slipping from the aluminum crank arm and causing damage or hurting me😀 Sorry for the long comment, but I'm a bit of a tool nerd having used all kinds of tools during my time as a mechanic and I like seeing what special tools the companies come out with like that cable-hose puller tool I can see that being a game changer, lucky for me my bike's cable routing is fairly easy to do, and going 1x no more front derailleur or cable to mess with. I might have to check out some of those tools, my next bike will have hydraulic disc brakes so I will probably buy a kit to bleed and service them one last thing use the proper greases and chemicals where needed. a few of the fasteners on bikes use blue loctite or thread locker I noticed my new derailleur the B screw had blue thread locker on it.
Thanks for your input! Love hearing about what others have used for working on their bikes. The torch sounds like a good one for metal bikes 👍
I took a chance on the Ykyw bib shorts. Really impressed! Great quality compared to most budget bib shorts for sure

Nice video. I've been cycle commuting for the past 15 years. There have been some periods where I've done less, but overall, as you've said, when i commute by bike, I'm happier and generally fitter. It's a habit and better use of the commuting time. Longest rides have been 24 miles (each way, but option to take a train to reduce it down to 5 miles if needed) and left a wardrobe at work so I didn't have to carry work clothes (used a local laundrette near work to keep a set of clean stuff in office). I usually avoid cycling in when it's wet as i don't want to put on wet clothes at the end of the day as most places I've worked don't have particularly good drying areas.
@@moman6280 agreed, luckily it’s raining mostly after work for me on the way home vs in the morning! Ride on and ride safe 👍
Funny thing, never had an issue with squirrels they are very in tune and alert.
@@Ebikeadventure5981 I’ve almost run over one once back in the day, where it jumped into my crank arms and brushed over my leg. Somehow it managed to slip right through and live to tell the tale 😂
How about your magene h603? Is it still working?
Yes it's still working and I use it sometimes when cycling. I actually enjoyy the H803 more for running as it's an armband and stays in place
@henrychungfitness Mine has error. Only lasted 6 months. (Magene h603)
For most commuters the road back home is where you go all out. You day's beginning is just to wake up, not to train. As for winter: Buy a second hand bike, Steel, not expensive and sturdy components. Seems to me you are just a spoilt individual.
@@Paul_C if I was a “spoilt individual” then I’d drive my Lamborghini to work 😂
I have stop buying TPU inner tubes. Had several of them pinched, loose air from the valve and joint within months and now I am back to using butyl.
That’s really unfortunate. So far my new Ridenow TPU tubes have been incredible in retaining air and no flats/pinches so far. I’m still running the same pair since I got them with many rides on road and gravel 👌
Hello. I have a some questions. First of all, i see that's M 52 size frame. Can you tell me some parameters? Your Height? Your leg length? Saddle heigth? Stem length (looks like 100mm)? How much cm of spacers are you installed and why? Hoping for your response.
I'm 5'11", saddle rails to bb 28", and running a 100mm stem. Everyone's body is different and everyone has different range of motion etc. Try geometrygeeks.com for bike frame sizing comparisons
What’s the biggest tyres you can run?
So far 32mm in the rear and 28mm in the front (32mm def doesn’t fit the front, but a 30mm might)
How to connect it to Strava? It does not show up.
Hi, I also have the Model S, in the building process. What tire width are you running? Would 30 mm fit?
Currently I'm running 28mm tires, but I'm sure 30mm tires should fit as mine have plenty of room. I'm going to try to see if 32mm tires fit soon. Enjoy the ride!
@henrychungfitness Nice!
I took my job for the commute. Its 21km, takes about an hour there and 50 mins back. I only work there 3 days a week. I'd had a cardiac arrest after a 'safe and effective' medical intervention and needed some way to recover. Sport doesn't really float my boat but i knew the responsibility of a job would keep me motivated and consistent. Ive been doing it for 22 months so far. My calculated VO2 max went from the low 30's to 46, which is not bad for a 57 year old. The route is along a valley in the pre-alpes d'azur so no traffic lights and barely any traffic. The weather isn't an issue either. I found that keeping the effort in zone 2 doesnt really do it for me but rides in zone 3 are exhilarating and keep my cardio health up.
Glad to hear that you took up cycling to help you recover and you’re doing better now. Keep it up and it sounds like your ride in the valley is the perfect commute 👍
Commuting to work by bicycle changed/saved my life!! Long life to the bicycles and the cyclists!!
Right on! People underestimate how much a bicycle can change your life. Keep on riding 🤙
What about storing your bike at work?
I’m allowed to store my bike inside the office 👌
