Once in a lifetime Aurora SUP. Taken by Qoocam 3 (yes I know lots of bad rap about this brand, but this really is a good camera for my specific purposes). The more competition the better right? Anyway, I own the X3 as well and the QC3 ends up being used most of the time instead for me, as I do action adventures sometimes in low light, and for that, I'd argue QC3 is superior due to bigger sensor...

Eahora Azaria Folding 3.0" e-Bike - 3 Tips in the Winter Snow
Просмотров 7082 года назад
Sorry in the video I only said 2 tips, the 3rd tip is a MUST in winter: RINSE the chains/gears/lower areas from all the road salt, they will find their way and eat something. And yes I added a bunch of stuff to my bike : - U shaped seat extender to sit back further as i have long legs, extra benefit of lowering battery canter of gravity for lower weight base - costco folding crate - some cheap ...

Just showing the popular bikeway to get from/to Vancouver and Richmond via the Skytrain bridge, and abit of dyke trail to the shell rd pump station "viewpoint". The general area before/after the bikeway could use alot of improvements to help safety and enjoyment of cyclists and commuters. Otherwise it's a generally a pretty route, especially at sunset and sunrise.
Eahora Azarias - My modifications for a 6ft rider

- better angled cushioned seat, the default is hard and has a limited angle and causes me to fall forward due to seatpost design - rear shocks changed to 190mm air shocks, significantly more capable ride and changing the geometry that works for me (6ft 【1,83 m】). dangerous for anyone under that height though - replaced to 11t cog for efficient riding, however still need to remove one link as c...

I have this bike for 2 years and love it.. The only adjustment I need to do is that the mileage is not accurate compared to my phone GPS... I think I have to go into my "P" settings, which I know how to do and set it for my 20" tires... Does anyone have the chart and or know the controller that came with this bike ?
Where is this in richmond
What a spectacular view!
I suppose runners can use as well?
yep!
So they don’t sell this anymore. I think it got discontinued. I got one and the controller was bad. They sent a new one. Any thoughts
could you elaborate on how it was bad? like assist not working?
They had to send me a new controller. It worked pretty decent after that. The problem is that all these bikes are made in China. These Chinese companies are not going to accept a return on any of these bikes. They are also not going to answer any phone calls. Email only. That email is only in the middle of the night since they are on other side of the world. Any US customer number are just routed to China or to a dealer only
@@rhettanderson411indeed spot on. i think we need to be cognizant of differentiating north-american based chinese made products (eg. Rad/lectric/aventon) and China-based chinese products. It does provide a different experience for end-users like us.
Whats yhe height recommendation for a rider? Whats the lowest seating position?
The seat or the battery is as low as it will go. I have a 29 inch inseam and I touch the ground but barely. Love this bike
Affiliate link is no longer valid. Have a link for the azarias? Looking to buy and would be happy to give you the commission!
i've updated it, thanks for the support!
Is this bike still holding up okay? Thought it was great until that commenter continued to mention the seat post and other complaints in every video. Solid bike?
you make the board look very light!
Hey I was wondering, how is the climbing ability on steep hills? And what exactly model is this? Step thru??
How does your rear shock absorber work? Better now?
How much do you weigh?
This is your Azarias bike?
Do not buy this garbage bike!!! the brochure alone has 2 numbers that are not in service..and I ordered 3 at one time for my family and all 3 didn't work. Plus don't get rid of the box, these mutts will charge you an extra 100 dollar fee. Con artists on Amazon. This dude should be ashamed of himself...Just trying to get the word out

sorry to hear this, as my 2 still works fine. "the brochure alone has 2 numbers that are not in service" what do you mean? It sounds like you bought 3 and none of them work? I know it sounds silly but maybe the battery wasn't connected or pressed on? anyway let me know if i can help
After a month of dealing with Eahora and their terrible bike, I am returning it. Here is a list of all the problems I had with the Azaria ebike: 1. Battery post doesn't stay up, even with the new clamp they mailed me. Only held in place by a clamp. I even took it to a bike shop, and they said the bike seat was poorly designed. 2. Front handle bars are night tight. ( only driven a few miles). 3. Anyone can steal the expensive battery. Lock does nothing as it is a part of the useless clamp. 4. Bare visible secondary electric wires coming from center "control box" area of bike. 5. Even if seat post is set to lowest adjustment, the powerful battery, plastic connection, and wires are only inches from the ground. 6. Brakes squeal off and on about half the time. Adjustments don't last long. Very annoying and frustrating. Seems to be a common thing with Eahora ebikes, as per many online threads and reviews. 7. Folding mechanism has an odd noise when opening and folding the bike. It might not be anything serious, but when I compared it to another person's ebike with exact same mechanism, his didn't make that sound. Nervous to ride it. Will it collapse when I ride it? The quality so far has left me with no trust in this bike and it's safety. 8. Poor customer service. No one to talk to despite MANY begging requests for help. I had to go to a bike shop for help. They couldn't even understand the seat idea. They said it was extremely poorly designed. 9. The process of returning their defective bike took over a month and was very, very stressful. They tell me I have to pay to return their defective ebike. 10. There are too many problems for my issue to be bad luck. It is simply a terrible bike. 11. I reported to Amazon.

yes there is much to be improved on the bracket holding it. i guess that is the flaw in this particular seatpost design, it adds alot of extra vertical weight here, with even MORE human weight sitting on top
The new Insta360 camera, right? Cool video, this. i like how it removes the stick from the video, but the shadow on your shoulder remains.
How has the battery been holding up? Do you have a better idea of the average range now?
it's ok, but like any other ebike companies i think they market the range abit higher than real life. so i'd like about 25% off the range they market it and it does sound abit right. that said, it is winter in north America and that cuts the range by another 30% (like any other ebikes).
I wish you a lot of success on your channel! You need *Promo SM*!!
Beautiful bike

Thank you for the video. I've watched it numerous times. Quick question... My eAhora Azarias arrived today but the bike seat/post doesn't stay up. Is there a plastic or rubber "fitting" or such that is supposed to hold it tight? It only has a plastic "fitting". I am sure if I push hard on the lever, it will break. I tried adjusting of course. Seat/post/battery isn't held tight? I noticed that you did yours without effort?
The only problem for me it is the lights never worked since I buy it change it and still having a problem so I buy external light
Did u hold in the + button for a few seconds?
@@SoAnswerAway yes
@@SoAnswerAway I try it and it doesn’t turn on
Just bought it
Any advice for waterproofing?
I need to change the seat but I don't know how or where to buy one at can you please give me some direction
How do you charge the battery? Is there a charging port on the bike of do you have to remove the seatpost battery to charge it? Thanks
Charging port is on the back of the seat post right under the seat. You can charge it while it’s on or off the bike.
Thank you for posting this video! I have an Azarias and am looking into replacing the freewheel; it's reassuring to see someone else having done it on this particular bike. Now I'm also interested in the new rear shock! 🙂
My rear brake no longer works. I think I need to tighten the rear brake pad. I've tried tightening and loosening the brake wire and neither works. How do I go about adjusting the brake pad so it's tighter and stops the bike when I squeeze it?
? link for 11tooth cassette gear?
Funny how few folding bike reviews ever fold the bike. Eahora claims the folding width is 15.5." Were you able to verify that?
yes it folds to roughly that
Does it come with a mirror and cup holder or did you add those to the ebike?
no, i added those
What is the max speed on this ebike?
28
roughly 28mph on max power and pedal
Max speedy 32
@@KAIMELGAMING2024 really ? maybe you are lighter than me :) so far it's been about 28mph for me on flats, of course much faster downhill. but im not speed demon, so average i usually ride ~18mph . also i think their calibration overstates the speed, i calibrated it using my phone GPS speed and the default settings were ~3-4 mph faster. maybe thats why.
@@OutdoorsyGuy604 I’m 180 6’0
Does it really fold and do you recommend this ebike to first time user?
yes it does fold. not first timer due to the jolty nature of the e-assist. i don't know if their later batches improved slower smoother acceleration. it's not that hard, it's simple a controller thing
my light doesn't work
My neither
Not sure if you tried it yet but holding in the + button will turn on the lights.
So have you moved the tires to 4.0 tires I would like to do that to the one I have but I'm not for sure exactly how to do it
no i have not yet. also front fork clearance wont allow it. the rear one, maybe. but so far it works on snow so i don't have any urgent need for 4.0 yet

Not sure how to turn on the head light. Still exploring the display. Does anyone have a video on how to operate the display start to finish?
Did you get to turn the lights?
Hello I just bought the bike. On display there are 26P options for set up. But online manual only there are 20P set up settings. Is frustrating to set up this bike. I spend all day trying to do that and no results. If somebody could help me please tk
Hey guys, I just got one today and I’m having a hard time figuring out the light settings. How do you turn it on or off? It’s constantly on but it’s not bright. Not sure if I pressed something that made it deem
Press and hold +
Did you ever get a resolution to the settings issue? I have this bike now and love it except PAS starts too fast and goes too fast in PAS 1. It's a frustrating easy fix if the settings were not locked out. Also, what specific part did you buy for moving up to a 52T crankset? Thanks very much
Thanks for the review. How's it holding up, any problems?
My Azaria is able to charge without removing battery. The charge jack is just below where the seat mounts at the top. I had no issues with shipping. It's a great deal, other than the settings being locked out, which is frustrating but liveable.
@@markpeterson8281 Thanks for that Mark, it does indeed look like a great value
after almost a full year, i'm now experimenting with snow biking with it. it's been pretty good, a few small quirks still to get used to. overall it works fine and hasn't had any catastrophic issues.
where did you buy the separate display?
does it have cruise control?
Yes it does
Did the rear shock replacement help significantly? Does the ride feel a lot better?
yes much better when going over potholes and large bumps. i set it quite soft and the ride is generally very cushy
How's the range in full Electric ?
Can you add some phone charger using the bike battery?
