How did a belt get in the timing cover?

The reason the last bolt in the oil pump didn't come out is twist in the cover plate..When you take the rest of the bolts out the plate twists

Does it change the feel of the ride?

E series falcons are better and actually have a decent chassis unlike the crumble door with the Centre bearing in the tail shaft and the crap diff set up and saggy front suspension tower’s pretty weak cars in a accident..the old crumble door with out a roll cage are pretty dangerous 😂😂😂but yeah being a qualified panel beater and a automotive engineer are you get that

I was always taught, never grease clutch splines, dirt sticks to grease causing plate to stick.

does it go the same for setting up the timing chain of you are putting in bigger cams ?

The screw behind the starter does not need to be removed. It is not attached to the gearbox

Hard to see but do the oem flywheel bolts say what grade they are? Not uncommon to have 8.8s for a flywheel as they are less likely to come out and are softer for vibration. Nothing wrong with zinc either lol
