    Sounds like a great weekend! Can you get some relaxation in for me too? I have to do a lot of yard work and farm chores. My son and I keep putting off the burning of the branches/sticks and we also need to hack the border. I'm tired just thinking of it all. Happy reading James.

      Ms. Erion, I wish that I could help but I no longer can do yard work or any stressful work due to a stupid health conditions, Yeah, I'm fat, old, and Lazy! It's been a light rain for over 2 days and at least the weather is cooler. As cooler as it can be for September. But I will take it. Don't over work yourself!

      Jae: That is a cool cover isn't it? I think the man with the knife through his hand must have said something about Real men Don't Wear Red Kerchiefs! I am reading it now and it is about an older cowboy whom wants to just be left alone but then has to deal with a bunch of Tough Guys! YeeeHaw!

      Yes, another visit. The books are so cheap. 50 cents for paperback and softcover. The John Adams book is a real score. I collect books by David McCullough and This one is huge. The western is about to fall apart but I taped it up and it is now decent enough to read. The gun book I wanted because reading history and western books they're always describing guns in them.       @@Littlebiglibrary All the thrift stores in my area were running a similar buisness model with the books. One by one they began pricing them individually and at this point I don't even visit what was once one of the best sources for used books. Take advantage!

      If any book is worth a million dollars I would have to say it would be a Bible. We finally have the Lottery here but only because everyone here would go to Louisiana to spend their money on the lottery and our State got upset of losing money to another State. And I have never played the lottery or anything related to it. But only because I'm afraid of becoming addicted to it.

There is no way they would create a lotto system that would take advantage of low income people who shouldn't be spending their money on a dream that never happens... I mean they would never let an individual do that to us... hmmm but yet they will do it to us? Weird... it's almost like the government doesn't actually care about our health or well being after all... weird because they say they do these things for our safety... LOL

    Glad you're back! I panicked last night when I noticed there weren't any videos on your channel. 😟 Glad you found that box. That is a great box! And after what happened in 2020 and the supply chain, we were saving everything. I felt like my grandparents in the great depression.

      Yeah.during the Lock Down we still had to make boxes for Water shipments and lots and lots of Medical boxes. Everyone was Thanking First Responders and Nurses and even grocery store employees. I said I still have to work to keep the supply chain intact and people were like...who cares about boxes. I like to point out what life would be like without boxes. A boxless society. I enjoy being retired but I miss the comradery of working in the plant with other people. Oh well I can always go dumpster diving! 😂

I've heard people say if farmers run out of food they should just go to the grocery store. 🤦‍♀ These younger kids are so used to having everything available they have no idea what it's like to be without.       I worked at a liquor store for 10 years and you're right the boxes are good and sturdy. However, now everyone breaks the boxes down for the scrap man. I was lucky to find this box. Thank you Mr. Gary I appreciate you. -James

    Hey James! I was planning on recording a tbr video before you did this video. I know a lot of people hate tbr's and that's great. I like having tbr's and I'll explain why in my video, but I want to give you a heads up, I was planning on making it because of a comment I saw last week. happy reading, whatever you decide on. oh, I think your setting aside books for other books is what I call a "soft dnf." It hasn't been given up on, just set aside. ~Erion~

      nonono, see, the tbr is just an illusion. The tbr is actually just a pile of options, would that be POO? ew, smh, it's options, because a case of "squirrel" might happen and that leaves openings for switching to other books. 🤣

      Yes, she did get decent tips for 1960s and on that note the price of living was way lower. I could go to the movies and watch a Double Feature buy a coke and popcorn all for 25 cents. A bottle of Coca Cola was 5 cents or a pack of baseball cards with gum was 5 cents . Stuff like that.

      Hi Ms. Linda. You should see what I deal with every morning. I just don't record it. Exciting? I guess so. A man stopped and wanted to pressure wash my house. I said no thank you.       Hi Ms. Vickie, Do you know that me seeing Terry Brooks books I used to think he was a she? I just thought "Terry" = female? Anyway, someone had brought a whole box of TB books and I looked at them all and this was the only one that interested me. I read a lot of Stephen King books from 1978 up until he released IT.     😂 You're so bad using the blue flashing light, but so funny too! Don't run from the police. Just tell them you use the blue to let passerby know you're not a vehicle, but a person with a flashlight. If it's against the law, they'll probably tell you and just give a warning. You're so funny. You're acting like a little kid. Yikes on the red ants. I was not aware of that.
