From the band's 1979 Mirrors tour and clocking in at nearly 11 minutes, this is a very good and overlooked performance of this BOC epic.
I saw them at Hammersmith on valentine's 1984, and then not until Ramblin' Man in 2015. Too long but still fantastic.
I think it’s my biography
Two doors spawn, And windows barred.
Buck Dharma is the beast!!!
Someone was having fun with the whammy bar that night.
best version of this song in not this one hear is the video live 76 pay attention in the guitar solos
6:36 .... jeeeeeesus
it is amazing that it has been 45 years since this. And since an amazing guitar solo
Dark, weird, exquisite and brilliant. And one of best songs ever.
Tyranny and Mutation and the unnamed album with 'Cities on Flame' are and always will be my favorite albums.
Love this song I had one dog named Orion and the next was Betelgeuse! 😢😊
Great song by a great group 😂😊❤
🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely one of BOC 's best.
So F##king Badass
It just doesn’t get tastier than this. It’s what I had in my cars 8 track player when that cement truck t-boned me. How I didn’t die? Probably Carry Nurse????
I was at this show. Richie Blackmore canceled and BOC played like a three hour show and pulled out all the stops! We totally got our money's worth. Always a great live band.
You should still kick Richie Blackmore’s ass anyways!
AHH ce solo de Buck, ASTRONOMIQUE !!
This broke my brain as a hid, I’m pleased it never got fixed.
Glad you took this off the board, as the acoustics in the old Met Center were horrible - just another big metal-walled barn. I saw the Black and Blue Tour there a few years later and we were stuffing cigarette butts in our ears and I still swear my eardrums touched in the middle.
Just wonderful music ...depth feeling and the guitar 🎸🎸 unreal
lovely
Absolument fabuleux, génial, un must ce boc, admirable
Metallicas cover is so much better
Literally giving me goosebumps again 50 fucking years later!
My favorite band of my 63 years and nothing even comes close besides Black Sabbath. So musically sound, not to mention creative, best shit ever.
Best American band period!
I’ve been a fan for decades
I hear you buddy
Great sound quality nice upload
Buck Dharma is the man.
Who does lead on last days of may live Cleveland Ohio 2014 album? Great guitar work!
I was at the July concert this same year in Alpine Valley, was one of the best concerts in my life. This was my first live BOC concert, the second time I saw them was years later playing at a local venue in Minneapolis, that was still great, plus got to shake Buck Dharma's hand afterwarrds. But, yeah Astronomy is probably a song I play more than anything else by BOC.
This is the song that inspired me to be one of the greatest keyboards ever this is the legendary over and out
Astronomy lyrics are nothing less than stupendous ....and then came me?
To this day I Never miss a Blue Oyster Cult show No one sounds like these guys IMO Incredible 🤠
I was fortunate to have seen the Bouchard Bros. play at a barn dance on their parent's farm in upstate NY. This was before they graduated high school and before BOC. I was a young teenager and my family vacationed just down the road from their place. A far cry from BOC and this concert, but I can say I knew them when....
Some people have all the luck That is so awesome
the soft white underbelly at their best.
I'm glad they didn't go with Soft White Underbelly 😐
Greatest band ever in my opinion. ❣️💪🏼
Y'know, they're still great live, catch them any chance you get while they're still touring! =D
Wonderful version and performance. My favorite BÖC song together with “In the presence of another world”
Buck's solo is pure serotonin shot into my brain
It's not the guitar it's he who plays it.
Wow, four days before I was born.
Big Dick Buck Dharma laying it all out here
Yes I agree, just happen to be in the greater bay area during this time and saw soft white underbelly at the old Waldorf 5 years in a row with 250 of my cult fans.I am truly blessed. Buck is one of my favorites.

Magnifique
Completely enjoyable! I lived in the Twin Cities area when this aired. I was 9 years old. I wish I had been there. Long live B.O.C.!
