Agreed, none of what they did during that time period made any sense at all. The GTO, the G8, the CTS-V - they could have had back then what Dodge has done successfully now.

@@villanelle4263 Exactly. And all it took for Dodge to make it work was good marketing and advertising. The whole muscle theme with Dom Teretto narrating was genius. Especially the ads leading up to the release of the Demon, fantastic.

This is exactly what I was told and thus to not go with the more expensive Stage 3 and rather just the 2.

@@villanelle4263 man I'm one of the few that have the Cyclone on my mustang. I didn't know that it's a straight piped set up.

@@jamescoley3543 Neither did I until I spoke to the guys at Solo. Luckily I don't have an issue with emissions where I live because the exhaust just doesn't sound the same with cats

How’s the drone in the cabin with this being a catless set up?

Sorry for the delay on this. I used the Kooks with the exhaust that was there, hated it, and then pull out that setup and went with solo's.

@@villanelle4263 No worries and thanks for the reply! May I ask if the Solo catless midpipes allowed the Xforce to bolt up to the Kooks headers with no modification? (I was curious because I have a 2014 and would like the butterfly mufflers but also want to go with 2" headers for my boosted application). Thanks! :)

tame and civil, you don't hear the exhaust at cruise unless you get into it, you can baby the car and have her be a docile as you want or stay in it and have her screaming for the entire trip

I had my noise canceling headphones on and boy this v8 sound is probably the best sounding sedan you can buy. People must wonder where that sound comes from. This must bring a smile to your face every time you drive it

@@kinghilton Thank you sincerely for saying that. It's the reason why I share videos on youtube honestly so that others can hear and experience just a little bit of what I do with this car. The exhaust note is only second to the TQ delivered from the LS3 for what puts a smile on my face, it's always there and just delivers consistently.

The only change from what you hear in this video to my current set-up is from the Solo connectors (right after the headers) back. So, essentially the entire exhaust minus the headers is different. In this video it's the headers + the X-force 3" catback
