I hate when people argue their relationship. Whether yall like it or not they’re neither father/son nor romantic. They’re close friends who helped change each other for the better. There are 3 relationships archetypes in the game: familial (Kara/Alison), Romantic (Markus/North), and platonic (Connor/Hank). Connor and Hank are 53 and 31 (not 60 and 20 like people like to say…) but either way, it doesn’t matter. They’re not familial, they’re not romantic. If you enjoy one or the other that’s completely fine, others don’t have to like what you do, but don’t down others for what you portray as cannon. “Son” is a term of endearment old men use for younger people, it doesn’t automatically mean he sees Connor as his son. Plus; Hank would NOT see Connor as a new son imo because his son was 6 years old and only died 3 years ago?? Which would make him 9? Replacing a 9 year old with a 31 year old doesn’t seem like the answer. Either way; again, platonic soulmates that pushed each other to betterment.

love how they all picked up on the romantic subtext between them and made jokes about it. it doesnt even have to be romantic in the traditional sense, its like hank can just bring out the more human part of connor even though hes not even human and in turn connor can appreciate his flaws
