i remember i tried the banshee method and it took me forever to get the damn elite to follow me into the tunnel and timing it right. i raged so many times. now in MCC you can just turn on the Acrophobia skull and fly to it or turn on the scarab skull and play the whole Halo 2 campaign with any weapon and it fires the scarab beam. felt more rewarding back then

That scarab gun achievement is really, really stupid. There's giving fans an easter egg, and then there is creating a nearly pixel perfect setup or an extremely tedious, frequently glitchy setup to even be able to get anywhere near the easter egg. It feels like being given the middle finger instead of being fan service
