I don't subscribe to many RUclips channels, especially music or instrument channels. Although I grew up in a house where my parents loved and listened to music, none of us played an instrument. For myself, regrettably so. I stumbled upon one of your videos, and I was hooked. Not just because of your fluid and persice drumming, but because of your personality. Your videos are clean, perfessonal, and not vulgar. I've heard you say things like, " By the grace of God," " I'm so blessed to be ...." And I thought to myself, maybe Gregg's a Christian? AMEN!!! he is. I also am a Christian, and I recognized the joy of God in you, and that's what led me to your channel. Praise God! He truly has blessed you. May the Lord continue to fill you with the gift of his joy and guidance you in all you do. 👌

The first time I saw Danny was in June of 1969 when CTA opened for Jimi Hendrix in Charleston, WV, and the announcer did not say their name clearly when introduced. When it was time for Jimi to come on, the entire arena screamed, "No! Not yet, we want to hear more of these guys, whoever they are!". I saw them two more times in 1970. Danny has always been at the top of the list of my favorite drummers! Wow!

Drummer for Jesus, huh? As a former Danny Seraphine fan, all I can hear ringing in my memory is the vile stream of profanities he let loose during, of all things, Chicago's induction into the Rock and Roll HOF in 2016. Yeah, Danny's as 'Christian' as Bono, Prince and Bob Dylan. You should've invited Tris Imboden; he's the real deal.

When did he played with Aerosmith? I guess somebody confused Tommy with Joey Kramer because of the puffy hair Kramer had during the 70's and 80's haha. Oh, and also because Kramer does a bit of a hand solo with the drums and they look alike.

I knew it! After watching him in a RUclips interview I said to myself only a Christian can be that joyful, kind, and friendly so I googled "is Greg Bissonnette a Christian", no surprise that it brought me here.. You can just see the joy of the Lord in how Greg talks with others!

The Holy Spirit led me here. He truly did.

Back in the day when Chicago was just beginning to grow really popular, Danny came into the club where I was playing--on the River Walk in San Antonio, TX. I met him and asked him if he would like to sit in with the band I was playing (Cat's Cradle). Danny replied--"Sure, but don't tell anyone who I am, just let me play." I will never forget that night. Now, at age 65, I have an even greater appreciation and respect for this truly great drummer...who was also a really great person. Danny, if you read this just know that you had a major impact on my life and on my playing. God bless you always.
