Great video thanks for walking me through changing my bulb Great teacher
My problem is that you can't pull the wire out enough.
thanks
Thank You!
Thank you!!
Whoever designed this is an idiot. lol
I appreciate this video . Thank you kindly
Thank you Sir! 🙏Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video for us. So very helpful! You made my day! God bless you today and always with good health, happiness, and good fortune! 👍
Thanks brother this helped
Why is the driver side soo hard
Just remove the battery. It's faster
I have a 2018 Altima SL. Once I get the plug out, mine had 2 tabs on the left and right of it you have to just pull out a bit , so you can pull the bulb out. You can just use your thumb, its easy and voila. Thanks for this
Thanks a lot Brother. God Bless You.
Thanks brother, I was trying to pull the bulb out without watching your video, will try again tomorrow but pretty confident I can get it swapped
Your video is very helpful. Most start with the cover already peeled open. Leaving out a crucial step for the car care confused.. me. Thank you.
I payed 100 to someone to this job think that they had to put the whole light out to install the ligh bulbs
Step by step great video
Nice tutorial
This is the worst advice. Any of you guys can take! This is in a very tight area, and you will very much end up breaking the lightbulb assembly! Take it from someone that learned the hard way! There’s no easy way around this you have to remove the headlight
If your 2013-2016 Altima low beams are VERY Dim and you have to use high beams to see the road, there is a recall for all owners after a recent lawsuit, and you will get completely new headlight assemblies (no warranty needed).... Changing bulbs does nothing for the low beams due to the projector housing turning white due to getting too hot over 1-3yrs, and can no longer reflect nor project light properly, forcing you to use your high beams to see the road... i got the brightest non LED lights before knowing this and nothing changed... Luckily they finally issued the recall in 2022 after tens of thousands of people signed a document for Nissan to fix this after those people paid 500-1k out of pocket for new OEM headlight units.... SMH If you have this issue, call your local Nissan dealership asap, no warranty needed!
I just replaced both of my bulbs after watching this. I can’t believe it really was that easy. Thank you!
LIFE SAVER!!! I JUST CHANGED MY LIGHT AT 5AM!
I am a female that does not know anything about a car... but thanks to your video you walked me completely through the process of changing my own bulbs... you are awesome & thanks a million
Works for a 2009 Altima too!! Same thing big help
Thank you so much 😊
I did it for both sides and only one side still works. Video was helpful but light still does not work. Could it be a shortage in a wire?
I can’t believe they did the lights like this. I just love having to take apart a bunch of shit to change a headlight
Can you not simply pop the hood on a Nissan and twist the bulb out from the top like most cars? Seems like a major design flaw.
Best video ive found. Step by step and good video quality. Thanks
I appreciate you for this video thanks to you I saved $175👍🏽
Thanks!
3:14 how did you take the bulb out right there? Which slot did you use? I tried both and it’s not working
Thanks dude.
This was so helpful and easy to follow along with!! Since this was my first time changing a car bulb, me bit longer than 5 minutes😂 i rewatched your video like 8 times! Manipulating the shield was where I struggled the most, especially putting it back on! Thank you so, so much!
Thank you for this video!!! Took me like 5 minutes to change both by myself!! ❤❤
So I got H9 silver star bulbs and now I can only get the high beams to work the low beams won't come on ?
😂 took me about 20 minutes but I did it …THANK YOU ❤ I’m a mechanic now 😅🥴
it wouldnt be easier to remove the wheel?...like the shop manual says....???
Seeing as how that is the exact same thing he's doing but with an extra step, no, it wouldn't be easier to remove the wheel.
I ordered a h11 and it does not fit in the bracket. It’s a 2015 Nissan altima
works for a 2016, headlight H11
My 2013 has dim low beam lights but bright lights work fine, will chamging bulbs help?
Estaba intentando por arriba, hasta que vi tu video. Muy bueno. Gracias
So a couple of tips because I just did this with the help of this video: 1. Video didn’t explain how to put the pins back in at the end and I spent too long fiddling with them to try to push them back in. Easiest way is to first pull the middle part of the pin out of the secondary part, then stick the secondary part into the hole in the car. Then you put the middle part of the pin back in and it should snap into place pretty easily. 2. The video didn’t seem to mention the very breakable clip holding my 2013’s plastic cover into place above the tire. When I went to move the plastic part open so I could find the light, I snapped the plastic clip right off. It took some fiddling not to do the same thing on the other side but I managed not to break it by pulling open the bottom slightly first and then carefully pushing the plastic back where the clip is to move it off of the metal(?) part of the car and be able to access the light. This may take a little bit of arm power to do just right (mainly putting it back into place at the end) so if you’re kind of frail you may want to get a hand. Lastly, do yourself a huge favor and turn your tire before you start to give yourself ample room. The first side took me so much longer than necessary because I didn’t realize he had done that and I was having to squeeze in between the tire to do everything. All in all, I got the job done! Props to all the other ladies here doing this without a guy’s help 💪🏽
THANK YOU!!! Been trying to figure out how to put the clips back in for the last hour and your comment saved me.
@@andrewlikes no problem! It took me forever to figure it out and then the other side was such a breeze :)
You literally watched a video of a guy showing you how to do this. Gurl pwr.
@@Tabrox5 yikes dude, you read my whole comment on a random car maintenance video and it made you respond that way? Go be a bummer elsewhere lol
2013, Do you have to use your high beams just to see the road? There is a recall on 13-16 Altimas where u get new headlights assemblies if you call your local dealership and set up an appointment, it took a lawsuit for this to finally happen... The projectors for the low beams are faulty and the reflective part turns white after 2-3 years due to heat, and eventually your low beams barely emit any light when driving. I just bought the best "non LED" bulbs and NOTHING changed, looked online, and was mind-blown to find this out. I remember a headlight recall coming in the mail a year or so ago, but forgot all about it... Tens of thousands of people got charged 1k from the dealership for new OEM headlights for nearly 10yrs before Nissan finally issued the recall after getting sued.
You saved my butt with this video. Thank you so much!
Every other video I saw either already had that out or they said remove bumper and headlight but I knew there was a simpler way thank you for your video
thank you so much, i literally got to change my crushes head light. not even kidding
