I have 20in rims on my challenger sxt plus, does anyone know if those 275s will fit?

Man, I tried using this video and “wiggling” the bottom part.. The mirror ended up coming off and taking a piece of windshield with it. The bottom casing had two clips that you could squeeze and easily get off. No need to wiggle it.

Not a fan of just any shop to touch my wheels especially the tire. Dude took off the 1st tire and literally spun the wheel around so the the front wheel was leaning against the rotor/lugs... then quickly grabbed it... if I'm not the one curbing/scuffing my own wheels. No random careless tire guy is going to lol

Looks great... u can even do 295 I'm the back without changing the rim... it gives it the Look ur looking for!! Leave the 275 in the front though... Looks good with the 275 all around

That nail hole, most likely could have been plugged or patched. On the other hand, I wouldn't trust the repair at the speeds your challenger is capable of.

All it does is reset the fuel trims. Tbh you should lose power for a while until it relearns. Did it yesterday on my charger because of rough idle. Cars brand new. Helped with warm idle but cold idle still shit.

Did you use the same rim that you had before with the 275?

I went with the top threaded hole, fit perfectly, easy to work, left me enough space to pull can out the bottom. I have a 2021 with the shaker. That bottom hole looks difficult and no room at bottom to pull can out. Good luck man. Nic car.

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DID AS VIDEO INSTRUCTED, THE FIRST PIECE OF PLASTIC CAME OFF EASILY AS IN VIDEO BUT WHILE WIGGLING AND PULLING DOWN TO GET THE SECOND ONE OFF, MY MIRROR FELL OFF THE WINDSHIELD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I EVENTUALLY REINSTALLED IT(instructions below) AFTER FIGHTING WITH IT FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS BEFORE RESEARCHING THE PROPER WAY TO INSTALL IT, THEN IT WAS ACTUALLY VERY EASY!!!!!!! DON'T WORRY, IT REALLY IS VERY EASY to reinstall but I freaked at first. I've never seen a mirror mounted this way, on a bolt head w/some sort of locking washer(NOT "lock washer") attached to, or through(I'm not sure which), the windshield. I've seen rearview mirrors attached with adhesive but I haven't messed with any mirrors on any cars since the 1990's. I spent about 2 hours trying to put it back on. I could see it somehow snapped over the head of that bolt but 2hrs of fighting with it, trying to force the little prongs inside the hole, to snap over that bolt AND THEN I noticed half-moon shaped grooves in the washer, it was obvious these had something to do with attaching the mirror so I searched online, found simple instructions and in less than 2 minutes, it was reattached. Put mirror mount over the bolt/washer on windshield in approx 2 or 10 O'clock(depending on your viewpoint) until mirror sets down over the head of bolt, apply pressure and turn back to 12 O'clock position, it will lock into place. Mine SCREECHED like turning a rusty bolt, I thought the bolt was turning but I kept turning until it was locked. It was actually easy once I knew the correct way to do it. I will say one thing; It did make the Mirror Mount install AND the wire tap much easier.......I did it while it was in my lap. Also, my wire harness isn't in the same position as this, I have a 2019 Challenger Scat Pack w/Shaker so I have no idea what years, what features, that make one look like mine while others completely different.. My plastic looks like his in the video but the wire harness was on the windshield side of the base and without being in my lap, I think it would have been hard, if not impossible, to unplug the wires and install the wire taps, I wouldn't have been able to see it or unplug it without a serious struggle and possibly pulling wires out. You'd have to look through the windshield JUST TOO SEE the wire harness plug. Just be careful, know what you're doing first, make sure you get instructions for the exact set-up you have!!!!!! No offense, not that I don't trust you, but I wouldn't go by the wire color description to put the taps in, use a multimeter. I blew a fuse years ago while installing a stereo and had electrical problems for the rest of the time I owned that vehicle and I sold it because of those problems. I replaced the fuse but I still couldn't start it, remote or regular, that was just the beginning. I now have all my audio installs done professionally by shops that guarantee their work!!!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

the fuse pull removes any auto-tuning the computer has adjusted due to the driver's driving habits. If you dont drive it right, or use cheap fuel, it auto-tunes poorly. pulling the fuse, clears the bad driving data. If anyone is impressed by pulling their fuse, rest assured that, that person WAISTED THEIR MONEY on their R/T.

I need to run wider tires for soft sand... is it safe to run 245/50 (9.5 wide) on a 6.5 " wide steel rim? I did for over 5 years previously and want to do it again on a van. The recommendation is 7" wide steel min.
