I'm figuring out how to retire to France on a modest income 👇🏼
Hello/Bienvenue! I'm Sue and I was retired unexpectedly earlier than planned. So? I'm prepping for a pond hop from Texas to France in 2025. After traversing France following the Tour de France in 2012, I fell in love and knew I had to come back for the long haul. And FINALLY, it's time!
I'll be sharing the ups/downs of planning and making this a reality - also tips and information on making the move successfully on a modest budget. YES, it is doable! Having scoured RUclips, finding resources for those of us without plump incomes or fat financial resources is slim pickings in my experience, so hopefully this channel can be a go-to for moderate income people to realize the dream of moving to France.

Some milestones! After the start of the year, I’ve already: 1. Had a great 1:1 convo with Fabien Pelissier of FAB French Insurance (@fabexpats ) 2. Opened a WISE bank account and funded it (@Wise ) 3. Got a totally travel-themed document organizer to start printing out the things that I - and the dogs - need to take with us to France!
