Thank you. I feel like Jin is by far the most broken character in the game, but Bandai can't nerf him 'cause 70% of the players use him and would get mad. In the meantime, King has just gotten his second big nerf in three months because of the whining of people who can't react throws by pressing one or two buttons. So useful to have a guide to counter Jin braindead players.

I’m new to Tekken. I’ve played Mortal Kombat, Injustice, and Street fighter my whole life. This is my first 3D fighter. I fell in love with this game. I’m a King Only for right now just to learn the game, but I have noticed he has REALLY good buttons. I feel like I have 1/4th of his move list mastered. The command grab inputs are still difficult for me. I end up taking most of my wins from his 2 10 hit combos and his 1,2,1, 2+3 mix up. Then when they want to get aggressive I throw out the back 1, 2 just simply because it comes out fast counter hit then Jag step 1+3. I also have a huge problem side stepping.

How do you have an Armor King jaguar mask? I can't find any way to recolor the default mask, not the one with the suit alt. Is it a battle pass item, or a mod?

Why is the dash 2 hard to connect with the final throw Is this still viable?

Hi. Maybe you or someone else can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I found this video looking for punishes to ravens many shadows. Most are negative 15 so this being a 13 frame punish is great. However when using it in training the first hit says counter but the second hit just doesn't connect. I've tried other punishes and it works great. But not far the one where raven steps back then lunges forward

My matches are nothing but Alisas, Bryans, Juns, Laws, Lilis, Ravens, and Xiaoyus. It might sound like an exaggeration, but I see these characters EVERYDAY, and I hate fighting them because I always fall for their stupid setups.

The uf3+4 tornado was hard at first, but I managed to pull it off every single time. The way I do it is after you do the 1,2 string in the combo, you input the uf3+4 at whatever time, but obviously, you can't be too slow. It's like buffering a throw. You input uf3+4 after the 1,2 string. Then, once you do that, you hold back after you input it (Not after you hit it), so it will cancel the Jaguar Sprint. Then you can do your power bomb. I even gone as far as I was able to do it with a 2 jab at the end of the combo. If that still confuses you, then head into practice mode and do the 1,2 string into uf3+4 while holding back after buffering it. Also, the timing is not like the ff1 screw in T7, where you have to land it as soon as the recovery of the 1,2 string. However, in T8, you can do it at any time, so no precise timing.

And giant swing being 10 frames feels so disgusting as i feel like a addict by spamming the damn thing every 5 seconds

Bro I use button buffering often so I don't miss my follow ups. Already press Down and 2 while kick parry animation plays so I can mash 3, easy people's elbow. Same for throws just keep pressing down back and 3, and just mash 4. The moves always come out exactly at the right frame.

T8 is my first fighting game (Tried a lot of others but none of them stuck so far), and I dunno how common it is in the genre, but characters who "break" a lot of the established rules tend to annoy me. Xiao, Leo and Zafina in particular have the combination of outright punishing habits you build as you play, while at the same time being rare enough Online that I can never get comfortable fighting them. Leo is extra annoying because he shares that one Hwoarang Quality of being very specific about when and how you can get your turn back as opposed to simply being patient and punishing on red frames.

That was a good refresher and general guide. I’m at Tekken King and yeah the dragonov players adapt much more effectively around those ranks but at least showing that I know the basic workarounds to his best tools helps a ton in the matchup and doesn’t let them autopilot.
