Primo Fight Wear Classic Series Boxing Gloves Review: Outstanding Thai Made Boxing Gloves!
This boon vs primo emblem 2.0?
Want enjoyable Muay Thai gloves, go Boon. Want enjoyable punchers gloves, go Primo!
How are these compared to Primos and Twins BGVL-3? I'm feeling to get a pair of these Boons
The twins would be slightly similar, my money is on Boon being much better quality though. The Primos are great, feel more like a punchers boxing gloves though and less like a traditional Thai glove.
Fit2box sucks never listen to that guy and take that guy advice
I'm sure Simon isn't for everyones taste, just like I may not be a boxers flavour 🤣🙏👊
Cheers mate, youve got a new subscriber. On a side note, I dont think these blogs are even written by humans, mostly AI generated nonsense.
Thank you legend! You know I can't believe I didn't talk about that, well good point!
Everlast Boxing quality is Walmart or Dick’s Sporting Goods quality. Not for real boxers but more for aerobic boxing class.
I agree with this for the most part but I'd like to see the quality of the MX2 and Elite2, especially after they blatantly lied about the MX1s 😬
@@fightingspirit93 I noticed those rating before and wondered why they choose the glove I ranked lower quality. Fake paid for ratings.
Do Reyes really hit harder? 🤔
Most Mexican gloves are usually considered 'punchers' gloves which are considered to be way worse to be hit with compared to other models. If I saw someone in sparring wearing them, I typically believe they want to secretly hurt you a bit 🤣
What would you compare them too? Looking at getting these
Rival and Primo, they are hands down best Aussie owned boxing brand IMO 🙏
Hey man, thanks for the fight gear content. I hope you keep going as i think you could become the "csquared" equivalent in the muay thai gear space! When researching gloves or shinpads / elbow etc. no channel is specialized on gear reviews
Thank you brother, this is very motivating! Really appreciate the support 🙏❤️🔥
Finally retiring my fairtex bgv1 i’ve had for way too long now. Tossing up between these, the bgv9 and maybe a pair of twins. What would u recommend?
Oooo while I haven't tried either, here's an easy difference. The bgv9 are definite punchers gloves, way better for feedback! Where as Twins are a more spacious Muay Thai glove.
Right Video at Perfect time..I'm looking for a good pair of Boxing Gloves for Big Bag Training 6Ft ones ( Very Heavy Bag) ...What's your suggestions? They are available in Amazon India for decent cost..By the way First time for Boxing in my life, Very new to it..
Hey mate! Have you got a budget in mind? That'll give me more options to give you 👊
Between the Boon Classic and the Twins BGVL3, which has the better padding? I define better padding as: - will not leave a bruise on my sparring partner's face - will help protect my knuckles better than Mexican style gloves (ie: fairtex bgv9)
I haven't used twins for quite a few years now so I cant comment exactly there but the Boons have been amazing for sparring, especially on my hands. No guarantees I won't bruise my partner though 🤣
Love the kanpeki version (same model but smooth leather version of it)
Yeah they look awesome! 👍
Hi mate, i couldn't see your hand size in the description? I have a hand circumference of 21.5 cm. Im wanting a pair for pad and bag work. So thinking 12oz ?
Thanks for letting me know mate, I've added them in now! Here they are also: Width 90mm (Width of my palm across the knuckles.) Length: 185mm (From bottom of my palm to end of my middle finger.) 12oz should be fine for you!
Looks like they’re “out of stock” 😂
What have I done!?! 🤣
Why do U box with your chin completely open is that a style or something? Also when I see you punch u also keep ur chin so clearly open and punch so low
Bags don't hit back 🤣
I train quite a lot, but I’m debating whether i should buy the normal t3 or the t3 lx. What do you think? Which one is better for boxers who train 4/5 times a week?
Definitely the normal T3s in my opinion, if you can splurge and get yourself 2 pairs of gloves to switch between, then go the LX 👊❤️
Hey man this is my first time buying shin guards and I was wondering what size you think I should go for. I am 5’7 with 36.5 cm shins and 16.5 cm foot
Go medium for most brands mate, just double check the size guide before hitting that pay button! 👊👊
I have 2 pairs of fairtex, 2 pairs of yokkao and a boon pair of gloves. I use the boon pair 8 times out of 10 and sometimes use my fairtex for rotation. I have the short cuff version and it was ultra tight when it arrived but I spent time at home stretching it out around my hand and it’s by far the best glove I own. I would buy boon again the next time I buy gloves.
I'd recommend giving Windy a try to mate, very similar to Boon in my opinion. Both top 2 for sure 🙏
@@fightingspirit93how easy to open your palm for catching, framing, etc in windy gloves? As i saw reviews its stiff.
@@gonzalezinti1662 yeah the new proline range is very stiff initially. Haven't used them much for drilling yet but like any gloves, they'll break in the more you open them etc. 🙏
For a first Muay Thai glove, would you recommend going with these in 16oz?
Absolutely! Great first glove to try!
Man , cool. I got 36/37 shin length so should be large in size charts, also Im 186cm tall but still not sure should I not go for Medium instead. Ordering online sucks in this any recommendation?
If in doubt, go smaller, because too big is WAY worse in my opinion, I wear mediums for the most part myself 🙏
@@fightingspirit93 cheers 🎉
hello mate, 6 ft 4 16 yr old what sizse should i get? good vid
Jesus, you're a big fella! How heavy are you? Most likely large though!
@@fightingspirit93 90-100
Been waiting for this review brother. Thanks
Thanks legend!
What gloves would you recommend for boxing work on mits and pads and the bag? What weight too?
Oooo, Primo, Adidas speed tilts, Windy, Powrbox, all 12oz gloves of the above 🙏
What pads give the best feedback for the boxer?
Depends on what you want to feel! Most pros love a good, hard pad, so they crack everytime you hit the sweet spot!
This was bloody well edited and now I want to get back into training lol
Thanks legend, get back into it! 😍
Step 1: watch fighting spirit reviews
My man ❤️👍🙏
Why is thr music louder than his voice
Just learning on the job mate 🤣🙏
Which is bigger inside, the 12 primo or the boon 12? Thanks bud
Definitely the Boons!
@@fightingspirit93got mine, 16oz red/white.. Comfy, and precise.. Love them.. What’s the size inside the glove like in a 12oz? Interesting 🧐
Well now i will try boon. I wanna buy their new burgundy compact gloves. They're so beautiful 😍
You won't regret it mate 🙏👍🔥
@@fightingspirit93 can't wait. I've tried almost every Thai brand except hem. Thank you for your awesome reviews btw!
@@frederickdoyon these are definitely top of my list right now, Primo is right behind them! Thanks for your support legend.
@@fightingspirit93 really love primo! They are expensive though. Over 200$ CAD here.
I bought these in red about a month ago, I love them. Definitely better than fairtex in my opinion
Such great gloves! Glad you love them 🙏
I bought a hayabusa t3 kanpeki and i love it but this gloves my next plan to buy 😅
I think you're gonna love these even more! 🤣👊
How are they doing now in terms of durability, great video BTW thanks.
Thanks legend! They are still in great condition however I've barely held pads lately so that with a grain of salt. 🙏
What’s up man I am planning on buying a second pair of good gloves and after researching thoroughly I think I am gonna go for a pair of boons. The originals seem to have a massive wrist support so will probably go with the compact Velcro strap version as I do have skinny wrists. Have you tried these out yourself?
Hey bud, definitely get them, I've Seen a few other people use them and they look great. They look like a Thai/Mexican hybrid! 🤣🙏 Let me know how you like them!
I’m now considering maybe going for the top king airs instead because I train k1 and they have added wrist support 😅 what’s your opinion on them?? Will be getting matching shin pads as well with whatever pair I go for as I want good quality ones the current ones I have were cheap
@@jordankenny3191 never used them mate but let me know what you think of you do buy them!
How do boons compare with twins on the 16oz?.. My twins are great for the heavy bag, and completely stop my forearms from aching.. I was wandering if the boons will do the same, hence the question.. Fairtex I love for sounds, and mitts but twins for box and bag.. Thanks
@@sharkymoon422 Boons definitely feel better in my opinion, twins have alot of empty space internally, Boon feel slightly more ergonomic on the hand, give em a go! ❤️
I bit the rubber part like that too to put them on and it ripped 😓 gotta bite just past that on the velcro
Note to self: no biting! 🤣
I am 170-175lbs. Looking for gloves for Muay Thai class (we do mostly pad work and sparring) do you recommend 14 or 16oz? The 14oz looks pretty large and soft padding!
Both should be fine mate for that weight mate, you'll be happy with either choice, just depends on which weight you would prefer 🙏👍
Just ordered myself a pair, waiting for them to arrive. How you like m?
Love em! Great set of modern bag gloves 🔥
I stitch my own leather and also do muay thai, so this video has been helpful in letting me design my own shin guards. I'm still trying to figure out the problem with shin guards moving out of place. And I hate velcro so much. If it's not your size, the sharper side can slightly injure your training partner, and they don't last long. I was thinking of trying to use shoelaces instead
Very cool that you're trying to fix this problem yourself mate! I think Velcro is the right move and there are much softer and stronger velcros that should completely eliminate the injury/scratching issue. Changing to laces would be a nightmare in my opinion 😢 I think the combination of the guards shape, build quality of pull back straps and quality of elastic straps all together can make... or break a shin guard entirely! 👍🙏
@@fightingspirit93 cool, i'll experiment as much as I can, and i'll keep an eye out on your videos about shin guards. I like to hear user opinions!
@@ArmadusMalaysia awesome mate, looking forward to more updates!
What size is this?
This is the larger of two models, this one comes with double straps and there is also a mini version with single straps 👍🙏
🔥🔥🔥
Hey I'm a kid and around 157 cms in hight. I have recently been looking for some new Shin Guards and come come across the Venum Elites. They are currenty on sale on the eu.venum website but there is only Medium and Large. The size chart recommends a shin length of 36 cms for the Medium. My shins are around 34-35 cms. Do you think the Medium will fit me?
See this is important, obviously. But I find it funny that if you look into the physics, the heavier the glove and the more padding the more brain damage it'll actually probably do.
Definitely not the case in boxing. A smaller gloves means less resistance to the boxer and their power, plus less padding in-between the first and the target. Hence why it's very easy to be KOed in MMA in comparison to a 10oz boxing glove. There are obviously many other factors to consider however based on just weight alone, a smaller gloves equals more potential to cause damage.
What adult weighs less than 55 kilos? I have 14oz gloves btw
Much smaller adults than me, that's for sure 🤣😜🙏
@@fightingspirit93 how much do you weigh?
85kgs 🫠
I'm 15 and i have 52 kg,i think i should get 12 oz
@@GhostGaming-cb1vz 15 is not an adult
thanks for your review on this and putting hand measurements in the description you're the reason I got these.
Very glad to have helped legend!
guys I just got these in the emblem 2.0 genuine in red. These things are worth the dollary doos. I've got a pair of twins 16oz and the hand feel support over comfortability between the two is night and day. Great pad work glove 6ft 1 I bought 12 oz
Awesome mate, great feedback too! 🙏🔥
Amazing video! I just started muay thai my first sension was thursday! Im definitely subing cant wait to see more!
Beautiful brother! Appreciate the support! 🙏
I want Winning but that price tag in the US is too much plus the wait is too long, so I'm between these, the rival lace up, or the fly. Any advice would be appreciated.
Well I've only heavily used the tilts so far mate and they are awesome so definitely start there! 🥊🔥
@fightingspirit93 yeah, I'll give them a go. Thanks.
Great vid thanks
Thanks bud!
I’ve been using Everlast Elite 14oz nearly a year now ( been boxing for just over 2 years ) and the elastic on the right glove started to tear ( probably gonna tear off completely within a month or two ) and the padding on the knuckles started to deform. I will buy T3 but my question is should I buy 14oz or 12oz for both sparring and mitt/heavybag training?
These will be a big step up in quality for you mate! What height and weight are you? That will assist 😁👍
@@fightingspirit93thanks for the reply man, I am 176 cm and 72 kg.
12oz for sure 👍🙏
thax man
You're welcome 🙏
Appreciate this bro 👊🏾
Appreciate you bud!
