    A great review. If you do another ling term follow up, it would be good to hear how loud the unit is when running and how long the high pressure filters are lasting.

    This Compressor looks like an exact Copy of the Italian Coltrisub MCH6 Compressor, but I doubt that it is made in the same Quality… I have the original Coltrisub MCH6 Compressor, with a 400 Volt electric motor, but there are a hole range of electric and gasoline motors available for these Compressors.. Some things to be very aware about is the filter lifetime, do not use the filters for more than 7 hours, especially in the climate that you are living in, I live in Scandinavia and I change my active coal/molecular sieve filter every 7 hours based on extensive tests, and they also have interesting articles on Scubaboard about this topic! I also invested in a pressure maintaining valve, that first open for pressure to the tank filling hose, when the pressure is about 150 Bar, and that is very important because the filter material is most efficient from that pressure and up ! More expensive Compressors are all outfitted with pressure maintaining valves! You can find the pressure maintaining valve for your Compressor on Diveinn Scubastore under Coltrisub Compressors and spare parts.. And they send worldwide! I personally use two filters, one on the Compressor unit, and one more filter housing with DIN coupling on the tank where the filter cartridge is 50/50 active coal and molecular sieve, and that will give you clean air that are acceptable for Nitrox mixing with pure oxygen. I refill my own filter cartridges, and buy active coal and molecular sieve (and the right oil) from the Diveinn scubastore web site. And please don’t experiment with cheap Compressor oil, but buy the correct Coltrisub synthetic oil for the MCH6 Compressor and you will be good to go! And remember to let the Compressor cool totally down after each fill, before filling the next one, because these Compressors are NOT made for continuous use, and they get very hot, and need’s water draining every 5-10 minutes depending on the outside temperature!

  • @themulesheriff3009
    @themulesheriff3009 2 месяца назад

    Your compressor does have auto shut off on it. It’s adjustable! Easy to set it to 200 bar if that’s your fill pressure. Remove the 1 Phillips screw from that back square cap and beneath the the screw hole is an Allen screw mine is a 2mm someone else said 1.5mm. Screw it out to decrease pressure and in for more pressure. It’s nice having the automatic shut off feature
