    I'm so sorry that is brutal!! It's been 5 years I hope you're okay. I'm going through this but not as severe as you. I'm shaking, I'm seeing demons too, crying, my liver is shutting down, in so much pain, so much guilt, cannot sleep. I'm back in AA and need and want to be free of this vicious cycle. I hear you it's absolutely terrifying! I went to celebrate Canada day and was violently shaking the entire time barely able to focus on conversation. I never felt so hopeless.

    I had a gallon of hard liquor daily habit before i went to my first detox. Had to be wheelchaired in couldn't even hold a pen or cup of water. Within a week my central nervous system regulated with meds, nutrition and hydration. I was 57 so no spring chicken and I was a hard drinker for 30 years. But honestly for me the detox was the easiest part of recovery. Total care and relaxation getting off my personal battlefield of hell. It did end up taking me three detoxes and a full year in patient. Even then i had a mild relapse. Sober 4 years now by persistence and grace and help from others. But detox got me through it. Just my experience.

    One of the key points that comes out when you’re speaking with other people who consider themselves to be alcoholics is rigorous honesty, and I’ll just leave it there. That’s the way that you can get better.

    Mate this is one of the most hardcore stories I've ever heard - the fact you kept having seizures then got back up and kept hallucinating and then seizured again. I have no idea how you're still alive. My wife had an alcohol withdrawal seizure and it was like something from The Exorcist...she groaned and her face contorted into a different person and she fell to the ground and I had to call an ambulance. She was a zombie for days after, didn't remember anything, kept thinking she was in a TV show, it was so scary. She also hallucinated one night in bed, spiders, chanting outside, shadow people...I thought she was going to be stuck that way forever. I also had mild withdrawals every week after drinking for 2 days straight every weekend for 20 years straight...I'd sweat in bed, shaking non stop, I'd hear music on loop as if it was being played in my room, I'd shut my eyes and see demonic pictures as real as if I were watching a screen. And the depression and anxiety was crushing. My wife and I are now 1 year 7 months sober and absolutely thriving. We love being sober. I'm so glad you're ok...are you still sober? I see this was 5 years ago.

    Yeah, this isn't fun. I just finished a week long bender 3 days ago. Shorter than you, but I drank far, far more, think a fifth of whisky plus a looot of beers. Finally dawned on me that I'm gonna die if I keep this up, so decided to take drastic measures. Thankfully, I had some diazepam on hand. I honestly think it saved my life. Used the loading dose protocol, after 60mgs I was no longer going insane. The demons did make an appearance the second day, saw and heard them trying to reach out to me from beyond the veil. Some more valium sent them away. It's day three now, and I feel ok-ish. No more valium, I really don't want to get addicted to that shit as well. I'm using some propranolol to make sure I don't stroke out or get a heart attack from increased blood pressure. Still feeling shaky, but getting better. Moral of the story is, without benzos, detoxing is just an absolute nightmare. It's best to do it under medical supervision, of course, don't try to self- medicate like I did. It's not my first rodeo, and I know what I'm doing by now. I honestly think that if I didn't have access to those pills, I'd be either hospitalised or dead. Saw my doctor today, got some IV's for liver support, as well as an Antabuse implant, so I dont get tempted to drink again for the next year. You;'ve got this, kid. Remember, you just have to not drink today.

    The assessments done on behalf of the dwp are from private companies they're not real doctors it's a contract given to private companies and behind the closed doors you'll find some tories have shares in these companies. It's simple to figure out. Why would a qualified GP Doctor evaluation need to be assessed by a person appointed by the government? It's basically saying they don't trust a medical doctor so need it checked by someone from there own tax funded companies. It's unbelievably sickening.

  • @LV-426...
    @LV-426... 2 года назад

    Half a liter of Vodka a day for 3 weeks doesn't lead to such horrific withdrawals. For the symptoms you re describing one needs to drink a 750ml bottle of vodka for 2 months strait. No sober time. You wake up, you drink again. Then if you stop abruptly, you get to the point of seeing stuff, and hearing noises, and when you eventually fall asleep you get brain zapps, precursors to seizures.

    They call alcohol "spirit's" for a reason. It lowers your frequency and allows lower vibrational entities (demons/evil "spirit's") to take over your body. You're VERY brave. AA definitely works for about 10% but, sometimes it's a major turnoff and a cause to just want more. Give Steffon Barkload's homepagw an opportunity, after only 1 hour, you'll be able to hypnotize yourself to possibly quit permanently or be in control.

Drink plenty of water and try and eat some toast or something.
