You should definitly check Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn, definitly one of best. Duology The Hand of Thrawn was also good. There is bunch of good SW books.

Man, this episode ended with a "the stuff is about to get real" moment. And then episode 5 happened.That was my biggest complaint against OVA 3. But I'll rant about that in the next video.

For me, the biggest thing from episode 3 was properly seeing the inside of a Royal Tree Ship. The other big thing was Aeka and Ryoko coming to terms against a common enemy. That aside, you're not wrong that the girls helped around the house. But this episode established Noike as the "head wife" and taking charge of Tenchi's harem. Before this episode, Sasami basically ran the Tenchi house and did most of the work. Washu spent most of her time in the lab. Aeka did some stuff, and Ryoko mostly lazed around. When Mihoshi was there, she did try to help. That's why Noike's giving orders. Just so you know, the living quarters of a Juraian ship is a subspace realm. Sadly, this is something that I don't think the anime ever explains. Regardless, these subspace realms As to the Mihoshi bit, that's the most frustrating thing to come out of OVA 3, and I don't think Kajishima-sensei has ever properly addressed it. Supposedly, the 4th True Tenchi Muyo novel was going to be about Mihoshi. But then GXP got the green light, followed by OVA 3. So the novel got shelved, but what happened to Mihoshi never got explained. It sucks.

Since OVA 3 came out after GXP, the writers are clearly expecting folks to already be familiar with Airi. And yeah, that's bad writing, though I'll admit back in the day, I defended it more. That said, I remember the outcries from some fans when Noike showed up. For some reason, these fans assumed MAKIBI Kiyone from Hasegawa-sensei's books (and Tenchi Universe) would be here.

The recaps were needed to educate new viewers to the franchise. From an American perspective, it worked 'cause when FUNimation released OVA 3 (without naming it as such), it caused a lot of people to reach out to me to determine what those flashbacks actually came from. AIC should have just reanimated those scenes, but I don't know what the logic was to just show the original, other than (1) costs and (2) "keeping it real". As to Rea, you're not wrong about her introduction in the anime. I think Kajishima-sensei introduced her in the doujinshi. And unfortunately, too much of the canon Tenchi stuff requires one to have read something that hasn't been animated. Heck, if I recall correctly, the story of Ryoko and Ryo-ohki is a sequel to a doujinshi story.

I’m wondering if I should read the Manga first or watch the Anime then go to the Manga as I’ve heard the Anime is great though and a second season is on the way soon.

Kajishima-sensei is only focused on the GXP novels today and whatever new anime he may do. I think the reason that the there wasn't another True Tenchi Muyo! novel is that Kajishima-sensei got the green light to do the GXP anime, OVA 3, and War on Geminar. Anyway, I enjoyed adapting these three novels. I wish Seven Seas would get the GXP novels or Paradise War novels, but I doubt they will.

I got Guilmon , Agumon is my fav so that Guilmon is gonna go Wargreymon.

I feel like it was trying to be somewhat of a Highschool DxD with some battles here and there but forgot to make the characters somewhat interesting, I mean even if it was a gag manga they could’ve at least tried to make it interesting with the romance with the protagonist, don’t get me wrong like fun stories but I do like to at least come out of a series liking the characters dynamics and the characters themselves with this series I would just pick who has the best personality as my favorite character which seems to be the princess, nothing wrong with gag stories but they could’ve done a little more with it for example 100 girlfriends which is a fun Anime and manga gave the girls in the mc’s harem interesting dynamic with not only the mc but the other girls in the harem as well and gave them a little more to their characters.

It'd be pretty funny if it was a card game anime.. Studio Gallop (the studio that used to work on Yugioh) actually helped with the Digimon Reboot as well as Ghost Game. I'm sure they'd be helping with any new anime too, but if it is a card game anime, then they're really going full circle.

About the "mom" thing -- it could be two-fold. First, sometimes in Japanese literature (to include manga and such), characters may address a companion's parents as mom or dad. In "D-Frag", some of the girls addressed Kenji's mom as "mom". Second, the cabbit harem may also address Tsukiko as "mom" since Seina is married to Kiriko. I don't know if the cabbits are official wives yet, or if Seina is having sex with them. But they are part of the greater harem, and Kiriko is kinda like head wife. So Tsukiko becomes "mom" to them all. Based on OVA 5, Tsukiko won't end up in the harem. Well, that's how I see it. Cabbits. Remember in the GXP anime, there were a number of cloned cabbits? Well, the Dual girls, including D, inhabit three of those cloned cabbits. Fuku is supposed to be Yayoi, and indeed, Fuku's seiyuu is the same. But at the same time, the novels state that Fuku was created in part from a former, female mass murdered, sans her memories. So not sure how that all jives. BTW, Seina is the reincarnation of Kazuki from Dual.
