A friend and I traveled to Alaska which was a wonderful experience. Our last stop before we headed back to the lower 48 was Talkenta where we met the mayor, a cat. Based on that experience I'm firmly convinced that the TV show Northern Exposure was based on that town.

This music never gets old. And this group could play this very same tune, on pie tins and brake drums, and I would still love to listen to it!! Excellent artistic job guys!!!

Wow. Disappointing. It's a lovely little town, like thousands of others. If i squint my eyes, mentally subtract cars, telephone poles and most of the people...while adding a slight breeze, birds and maybe a snow dusting. Still missing somethiiing...and Maggie O'Connell!

Back when "Northern Exposure" was on and I watched it, I imagined going out there. The town of Roslyn was also used for the 1977 movie "Joyride." I was surprised when I saw it, and the Roslyn's Cafe mural hadn't been painted yet. The apostrophe-S in the name was added for "Northern Exposure," which was why it was squeezed in there and the in-universe explanation on the show was that Maurice had to add it after the hippie painter forgot it.

Wow- a blast from the past. So interesting to see these artists now after growing up with their music. So pleased they still perform the good old songs. Timeless beauty. Wonder if the artists of today will perform their songs in 30+ years time. I'll be old then.

Wonderful! I've loved Thompson Twins since I was little and Tom going out to perform solo is just as great.

I went on a pilgrimage to Rosyln, Washington in 1994. This truly was the peak of what Television could be! Once it was cancelled I tossed my TV good-bye. I remember walking into the Bricjk and the layout was nothing like the show. Plus the radio station was so tight I have no idea how peopl e functioned in it. The church was so tiny too. I am so glad that I had been there.

Great footage! ....I was only a kid back in the early 80's when TT were at their peak, so never got to see them live. I can't understand people who don't like them - what's not to like?? ...insanely catchy tunes, killer choruses, great beats, Tom's voice, Alannah's hair, Joe's weird shaped guitars! ...the TT had it all, and imo should have been much bigger than they were. They should have dwarfed the popularity of Duran Duran, and Spandau Ballet and achieved the same level of global success as bands like the Eurythmics had. TT were always colourful, inventive, and had clever lyrics to match their tunes and were never dull. A very underrated band, but great to see Tom still doing it with style in 2014.

This is just MHO, but how does such a great songwriting band like The Spoons now seem to have such a hard time finding a truly talented and exciting keyboard player to play old songs and help take fresh material in new directions...This band SO deserves a MUCH better keyboard player! BTW: Gord and Sandy are looking as great as ever!

This is an amazing album. All of it! Hit the first track and sit back and go for the ride.
